Weeks Pregnant: 14
Baby is the Size of a: a beet or naval orange
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: 3/2 and waiting to schedule my high risk appointment somewhere between 15-20 weeks. Depending on when that doctor thinks it is necessary based on my records.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Headaches are gone, although my boobs are sore again. Sex drive is that of a 16 year old.
Rants/raves? I really love ultrasounds. They’re so comforting. I’m so thankful everyone in my house is healthy again. That also relieves a lot of stress.
GTKY: are you more of a book or tv person? What are your favorites? Definitely more books. I do love Marvel though. My favorite books recently are Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance, the Hearts Invisible Furies, Orphan Train, the Silent Patient, A Fire Sparkling, the Only Woman in the Room, and A Woman is No Man.

Weeks Pregnant: 15w 1d
Baby is the Size of a: avocado or box of crayons
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: next week I have my 16 week appt, and I think I get my second tri quad screen drawn. Maybe some other labs? Also I am supposed to start taking baby aspirin every day from weeks 16-32, I think. Or 36? I will ask again. This is new from my previous pregnancies.
How are you feeling? I will *tentatively* say I am feeling better. The nausea has gone down, although I am still taking the reglan, so who knows if that's real. I may start to try to wean off again. I get my second dose of Moderna vaccine this afternoon and I have heard some really bad nausea side effects, so I will keep taking it this weekend. I think I am slightly more energetic so I hope I am into the second tri second wind!
Rants/raves? I have been feeling a lot of movement! Definitely more earlier with this third baby. It's fun and annoying, lmao. I am a punching bag. This baby either loves or hates oranges (a pregnancy obsession).
GTKY: are you more of a book or tv person? What are your favorites? Both! I usually love reading, but have basically stopped with this pregnancy because I can't concentrate. Maybe now will be better since I am less sick. I am currently reading Beartown, but my faves that I have read this year were The Nightingale and The Great Alone, both my Kristen Hannah, and also City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. I love TV, too. I am into some reality TV like Bravo and the Bachelor, but my other current faves are The Resident and we are watching The Flight Attendant. H and I are also avid Jeopardy watchers, although since I was so nauseous we took a break. We are catching up and are now at the point where Alex is gone and they are playing old episodes (early January, I think?)

We love Marvel too onyx! We have seen all the movies, but I haven't leapt into watching Wandavision yet because I have heard mixed things and just haven't been in the mood to start. H has watched all the movies through like 3 times now. My fave movie is Dr. Strange, which may be a UO.

Weeks Pregnant: 13 weeks
Baby is the Size of a: lemon
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM
Appointments: 3/2 for an ob appointment
How are you feeling? I’m actually starting to feel a little better. The nausea is mostly at night and I’m eating a little.
The doctor wants to put me on progesterone shots beginning at 16 weeks to prevent preterm labor. I delivered DS right at 36 weeks 13 years ago, but I’d had difficulties beginning at 33 weeks. Does anyone have any insight?
Rants/raves? I made it to 13 weeks! I got through yesterday.
GTKY: are you more of a book or tv person? What are your favorites? We watch a lot of movies around here. I also do a lot of reading. We don’t watch much TV.

It’s slow moving and too short of episodes to get me fully hooked. So in comparison to all the other Marvel shows it’s not the best. I’m optimistic it’ll get better. I love Dr. Strange. My fave is GOTG.

thatgolfb I am feeling movement too! I have been for about 2 weeks but thought it was impossible. Now it’s undeniable. Usually, when I’m laying on my side. I guess my placenta is anterior so it makes sense I only feel it in certain positions.

I told my OB and she didn’t seem to think it was far fetched. It’s definitely more noticeable now.

Weeks Pregnant: 15 today
Baby is the size of: apple
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: gestational surrogate
Appointments: 2/15 with OB and 3/19 for anatomy scan
How are you feeling? Pretty good nowadays! I had a wicked cold (not covid took a test just in case) but it’s cleared up finally hallelujah
Rants/raves: Stepson (17) is driving me nuts this week. Teenagers are tough and it’s especially tough to step into that role as a stepparent. It’s been a few years but it’s still like new territory sometimes. The moodiness my gosh.
GYKY: I like books, tv, movies, all of it really. I’ve been sticking to thrillers and mystery type books. I’ve been really into Lucy Foley lately. For TV I just started rewatching Outlander and MH and I are watching The Stand together. The Stand is one of my most favorite books.

Not much movement here yet.. sometimes I think I feel it but it’s very fleeting. I’m hoping it’s just early. I’m trying not to worry too much. I’ll be relieved to check on this surrobabe on the 15th and hopefully get some reassurance. skategirl128 my BFF had preterm labor issues. Delivered her first around 33 weeks and she was on progesterone shots for her second. She made it quite a bit longer to almost 37 weeks. She does believe the progesterone helped.

She’s like well at this stage it feels like flutters. I’m like I know 😂

friendofdobby teenagers are roughhhh. We have two nephews from MH ex wife. They don’t have great home lives so they’re with us all the time. Sometimes they love me, sometimes I am the #1 enemy.

Weeks Pregnant: 11 Baby is the Size of a: lime FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: 4TM Appointments: 2/22 for NT scan. I had my NIPT blood draw last Tuesday so hoping to hear something this week How are you feeling? I’m getting a cold. I feel like I get one in first tri every time I’m pregnant. thatgolfb I’m taking baby aspirin. Started after the OB confirmed pregnancy. I took it the last two pregnancies too but only until 12 weeks. This time my OB wants me to take it until the end I think which is new. Probably because I’m older now. Rants/raves? I’m anxious to get out NIPT results. I’m older which makes me higher risk for genetic issues. Also I’m really hoping for a boy since we have 3 girls. Preparing myself for another girl though. GTKY: are you more of a book or tv person? What are your favorites? I haven’t been able to read a book in years. The only time I have to do it is after the kids go to bed and I’m usually too exhausted to devote time to one. My favorite guilty pleasure right now is Below Deck and I also like shows on HGTV and Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and the Resident.

Weeks Pregnant: 12
Baby is the Size of a: lime
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM
Appointments: 2/11 and still waiting for my nipt results. Monday will be 10 days.
How are you feeling? About the same.
Rants/raves? I think we will finally start telling people next weekend.
GTKY: are you more of a book or tv person? What are your favorites?
Usually I would say book but I feel like I haven’t had the mental capacity to focus on reading much lately. So recently it’s been more tv. I like to just sit and watch mind numbing tv after DD goes to bed because I’m not usually far behind her.

onyx, I'm sorry for the extra stress. Glad she's fine! I just got back my Panorama results and baby is low risk and is girl #4 for us. My husband was convinced it was a boy and I think is a little upset. I'm just glad baby is healthy so far especially due to my age.

I'm glad you got good results sarahh. I am convinced we will be having a third girl, even if we won't know for another 5 months. But since I think it, it will probably be a boy, because I have been wrong 100% of the time, lol.

I’m glad you got good results sarahh. Congratulations on girl #4. Our ultrasound tech made a guess that we are having a boy which would make 3 boys here (we have DS and SS already). I’m waiting on my blood work results which should be here any day.

sarahh congrats on a healthy babe! Gender disappointment is real. Whether we agree with the feelings or not. I’m sorry it’s being experienced. I’m really struggling with my PTSD. The vivid pregnancy dreams mixed with it are not a great thing. I’m working continually with my therapist but it’s putting a strain on several of my relationships. Including with MH.

sarahh I’m glad you got great healthy baby news. onyx I’m sorry you are having PTSD stuff going on. I hope things get better for you. Let us know if we can do anything to do to help. I had my 12 week appointment today and all went well. Heard baby’s heartbeat. We got our NIPT results back this week- low risk for everything and baby is a BOY! We are very excited and will tell DD this weekend and both of our families will find out too! I’m excited to tell and not have to keep this secret for much longer.
