Good Will doesn’t want IKEA furniture that’s on it last leg. My gosh, not everything is fit to be donated. But there’s always someone who just can’t resist free shit on the curb!

Corn dogs are gross. I’ve tried them multiple times, and I can never make it past one bite 🤢 I usually feel the same way, but one of my cravings with my oldest was street fair corn dogs & since then, I am obsessed, but literally only from food trucks at fairs.

And again it isn't that she didn't donate that I am confused about I don't care who donates and who doesn't. It was literally just the fact that they had the money and she didn't just say we are ordering this

I use my childhood dresser for the baby. I was using it until we finally got a new bigger one just this past year. 😂 The drawers have been fixed soooo many times. Actually, DDs dresser is an old one from my parents house too, my mom just painted it. They aren’t even nice good quality dressers. My kid has my husband’s grandmother’s dresser. I like the dresser but he can’t open it himself so it’s kind of annoying. At least half our furniture are hand me downs. We adult really good. I really appreciate hand me down furniture and appliances, but boy oh boy do I love when it finally dies and I get to replace it with new. Furniture shopping in particular is my favorite.

I am not mad and am in fact at a -1 on the confession of breaking something I, for one, am furious. Because it has made me think about shopping and I want to shop. I texted my sister yesterday that I am seriously craving a trip to Target like her and I used to do often. I don't really need anything I just want us to go grab our starbucks and browse.

I used to scoot down in my seat in embarrassment when he’d spot something on the side of the road he just had to have. Horrifying. 😂

I’ve accepted that it lives here. Plugged that bad boy in and kept it moving. I FFC that I'm a smidge jealous of your 2nd fridge life. I admit the need for 2 fridges is overkill, but the condo we stayed at in FL last year had 2 fridges & I used the fuck outta that second fridge for drinks & whatnot. Fridge.

I've only ever had a veggie corndog. I feel comfortable not having had the real thing. They are gross. You’re not missing out.

I have such mixed feelings about your husband. Which is weird to say because a stranger’s husband. I get it. He’s an odd one for sure. What people call an acquired taste.

I’m not scandalized about the breaking of an already broken dresser. But we would have just bought a new one and put the old out for the trash.

Yeah a majority of our furniture is hand me downs. I love some aspects of it but feel like some pieces don’t fit our space well at all and I hate the mismatched look for some pieces.

You know those old tv stands that had the tv, radio, record player, etc. all attached? Some (most?) of y'all are probably too young, but when I was a kid every grandma had one with a new tv stacked on top. Anyway, H found one of these in good condition in our storage building out back (that the previous owner had left probably because it weighs a ton) and wanted to keep it as conversation piece. So, I guess that's a confession on his behalf. Oh, and we still have it in the building, so that's probably a confession for both of us.

I have already mentally planned what I will do to the house after divorce. Furniture, paint, etc. I'm excited for future me.

My confession is that I had to look up "I want all the smoke." I mean I understood what it meant by using context clues, but I have never heard that phrase before.

I would have combusted over that fridge situation. Like full on screaming tantrum.
Every time it is mentioned here I get itchy thinking about it.

I don't understand why you would break it. If you were already planning to get something new just do that. What is the point in breaking it? To push the deadline forward. Left upto dh we would've been waiting another year, that was not the plan. This is insane

I mentioned part of this in the drinking thread the other night, and mentioned in the UO yesterday I hurt my foot. Might as well make it a full confession today
I was celebrating inauguration night with a few drinks and snap chat video calling with college friends. Decided to show off on my kids hoverboard. Was looking at my phone and not paying attention, came around a corner and ran smack into the roomba. The hoverboard went forward, I went backward. Phone went flying.
I had a hurt ego along with a hurt foot 🤣🤣 I was worried I sprained it but today it's a lot better and I'm almost walking normal again. I think I just bruised it pretty good🤦♀️

One of the things about my H that literally drives me INSANE is that he has that instagram about tools but doesn't fix anything in our house. I get red faced angry when more shit shows up. Fix the hole in the ceiling from two years ago with all that shit? What is the point of collecting them but not using them?

My FFFC is that if my husband purposely broke something to make me do something on a faster timetable, I'm so petty that it would backfire on him. I can live without a wardrobe if I need to prove a point. I'm working on myself, okay? Exactly. I’m not Michelle Obama. You go low, I’ll go lower.
