Repeat from last night’s drinking thread:
I’ve never had a corn dog.

Repeat from last night’s drinking thread: I’ve never had a corn dog. You should try one. It's worth the experience. Rumor has it Sonic has them for 50 cents at times. I've also had a breakfast corn dog which is breakfast sausage wrapped in a pancake on a stick. Also worth the experience.

I purposely broke our old wardrobes last week so I could buy new ones. They were 10 years old and ikeas cheapest so they were shitty and starting to break down anyway, but yeah.

I should probably state that we were talking about buying new ones soon, I just pushed the deadline forward.

They were already old and breaking down, I did say that. Anyway, we're using the decent wood to build a few shelves in the shed.

I kicked the wooden beam thing underneath so it snapped, which means it would no longer hold the weight of the rest of the wardrobe.

I don't understand why you would break it. If you were already planning to get something new just do that. What is the point in breaking it?

That reminds of the person who posted about breaking their tablet for a new one because the warranty was expiring soon.
I don't remember who it was, this just triggered that in my brain.

my h would have been like bob the builder to that wardrobe. can he fix it? yes he can! I see we are married to the same personality. Not flame free Confession: I have instituted a 3 fix then replace rule. H gets the satisfaction of fixing things (and usually by the third time he’s over it) and I know there’s a death date on things. Flame free confession: I am super duper good at breaking things. It is always unintentionally, I’m just calamity Jane over here. H is super duper good at fixing things I break and can now tell the level of ‘broke’ by the cuss words and tone of my voice when I call his name for help. We were meant for each other.

I love an occasional corndog & it's a must at fair times. In the late 90s back when my mom dropped me off at the tiny mall in town there was a little food shop that stuck a chunk of cheddar cheese on a stick & dipped it in corn dog batter & deep fried it. So delicious.
To make it a confession: while all the other teenagers were scoping out the scene, my friends & I beelined it to the snack shop for our fried cheese on a stick

OK, they were already breaking, we had already saved money to buy new, they would not have survived another move, my dh is a sloth when it comes to this stuff, the materials that can be salvaged are, I just moved the deadline forward while I had the chance to buy and build new ones. It's not as serious as it sounds, but I can understand it comes across that way.
And just before anyone thinks my monologue is a rant, I'm at a 0 and laughing at the whole situation.

The "what we call each other" chat yesterday made me think of this FFC on behalf of my ExH: he still has my contact in his phone listed as "best wife ever".
We've been divorced 2 years & seperated 4, & he has had his whore GF by his side most of that time. So it kinda pisses me off/kinda brings me joy he still has that as my contact

boycebear just own your wasteful ass. we aren’t mad. we’re just disappointed. It's not wasteful if we're reusing the wood though right? And we did need shelving in the shed for all dh's tools, I've been waiting nearly 2 years for him to deal with that, which proves my point about the sloth like speed of dh lol.

I don't understand the concept of waiting for my H to do something. If I feel strongly about wanting to change something earlier, then we talk about it. My H is unlikely to dig in on something like this though.

My FFFC is that if my husband purposely broke something to make me do something on a faster timetable, I'm so petty that it would backfire on him. I can live without a wardrobe if I need to prove a point.
I'm working on myself, okay?

Multitask.
