Congrats on the RV vino! Funnily enough, our camper officially sold this week. I’m excited to have the extra chunk of change to go toward or remodel... which hopefully happens later this year

tallb were you able to see any of the fireworks? No, but we could hear them! We normally cannot hear ones downtown, but apparently colder weather changes how sound travels. It was super loud and I'm surprised the kids didnt wake up. I don't know why I hadn't considered them for the celebration, but I thought it was a great show. I am also glad Dr. biden had a special dress that hopefully will go in the American History museum, I was missing the first dance visual a bit.

We're very excited and I think we've picked the perfect unit, not to big not to small and will last for years to come. But now, MH is out looking for a truck to pull this thing...LOL talk about putting the cart before the horse... Exciting on the renos! Is the kitchen on the agenda?

As someone who just lived through it, although exciting it is nice when everyone and their supplies are out of your house/garage!

Lol oops, wrong thread. That was meant for the motivation thread
L struggled falling asleep for his nap and then only slept for an hour. I went to get him and realized he managed to take his pants off and threw his pacifiers out. No wonder he couldn’t fall asleep. His room is the coldest in the house so he was probably freezing!

I shouldn't even have mentioned hoping for a lighter day...we've had about 22 extra assignments come in today and it's just me and 1 coworker. Happy Friday to me.

FYI, no lotion or pumice stone has made a huge difference on my rough heels until the past couple of days when I started using straight aloe. I figured we always have some on hand for sun burns but usually only use it during the summer. It has done wonders in just a few days.

S had a fever the last few days, so I took her for a Covid test yesterday. Got the results today already and it was negative 🙌. MH has been working from home and cramping my style. I’m trying to get through Ozark and I’ve gotten halfway through the 2nd season. I could really make more progress if he would go to his office. Maybe tomorrow will be the day.

In socks overnight? In socks during the day?

Slather it on and put on socks. It hasn't made my socks greasy or anything and my feet are amazing. And the aloe is just the regular cheap stuff from any department store that comes in a big bottle.

I miss restaurants and babysitters so much. The girl who watched my kids for date night since T was a baby moved out of state. We have another girl we really like but she works in a restaurant so I won’t hire her right now (not that I’m going anywhere). Got my FIL and C’s sitter vaccine appointments today so that’s another bit of a relief. joelies that wildlife encounter sounds terrifying. lfig glad S does not have Covid. Hope she feels better. C won’t poop on the potty at home anymore after doing great the first month of potty training, he goes a little bit in his pants 100 times a day. He will go at the sitter’s house though. Today the sitter’s husband bought him a toy truck and a dinosaur for going. MH told him he will take him to Disney World if he goes at home. My smart ass three year old said “you can’t take me until the virus goes away.”

Hi! I’m sick. And of course they are symptoms (sour throat, headache, and a low grade fever) so I had to go get a covid test. I had to wait an 1 1/2 hours to get through the line (drive thru). My fever is gone but the headache and sore throat are both worse.
They said it could take up to 5 days to get the results. I’m hoping sooner because I’d I feel better by Monday and don’t have the test results I can’t go back in and I don’t have my work laptop.
I’m currently listening to E sing (mostly the ABC song) through the monitor. L had another rough day at school so he’s in bed. I think he’s so focused on what everyone else is doing he’s getting himself into trouble. Hopefully our talk this afternoon helped him.

O’Keefes Healthy Feet cream has been a game changer for me. Being diabetic I have to be vigilant about foot care. I put it on before my socks in the morning. In a couple days cracks are gone and calluses are softened enough to pumice away.

A friend recommendation popped up on FB of some dipshit I went to school with. In middle school we were both welding in shop class and the idiot lit his acetylene tubing on fire. He was afraid and didn't know what to do so he tapped my shoulder to get my attention. I immediately turned off the gas and got the teacher. The prick told everyone in school I did it.
His profile isn't privatized, has a blue line flag as his cover image, and a bunch of articles that have been removed for false information. Yep. All checks out. Probably still sad about Parlor being dropped.

He's been border line diabetic for a while and didn't mention to anyone that his vision was getting cloudy... he finally said something and had blood work. His a1c was bad and after fasting 18 hours, his sugar was 300.. his doctor had a come to Jesus talk with him. I doubt it sunk in though. But she told him to be inspecting his feet every night before bed. He's on metforman? I don't think I'm spelling that right. And managing with diet and will get rechecked in 6 months.
