Not asking real, meaningful questions. Cruz just pontificating and stoking division. Accuses Dems of not being concerned with working-class men and women or union jobs.
I'm blinky white man.

Cruz is really in here pretending like the Keystone workers won't find more work.
Like, ever.

I feel like Mayor Pete handled Ted Cruz as best as he could. He was really trying hard for a gotcha moment but Pete turned it into a 'hey we're both for unions and labor! cool!' moment. As far as the natural gas transport thing it definitely needs to be looked at as far as safety goes. If one of those train cars explodes, can you imagine the damage and destruction?

You have put on a clinic on how a nominee should work and act. You haven't avoided questions, you've been straight forward, and you know what the hell your talking about And that's really pretty damn refreshing. - Sen Tester on Pete

I enjoyed the exchange between Senator Young and Mayor Pete. Do you think you'll be able to visit Indiana?

Will catch up, so forgive duplicates, need to put this out there.
Pretty sure it was Whitaker, but it was said at least once, if not more than twice, that candidates should watch the way Mayor Pete was answering the questions. He said that this is how hearings should go and how candidates should conduct themselves. So let me ask this very rhetorical question, but...
Why are Senators approving candidates who aren’t answering the questions or aren’t being open, thought provoking or informed on the topic. Why is it only on the candidate.
Obligatory, Ted Cruz is the worst with Blackburn just behind as a condescending and unimaginative old white lady. With the amount of companies I’ve worked for that restructure to keep up with innovations and efficiencies, they need to roll with it or find something else. Just because you can’t see someone else’s vision for improvement, doesn’t make it less worthy. Kick rocks all you want, but keep walking until you catch on, been there.

Oh Sullivan is pulling out Keystone
and how the admin has put people out of work
This is the only real political thing I've seen on Facebook today. Like, I get it. People need to make a living. Buuuuut, pulling out of Keystone is also a huge win for our planet so... shruggy guy. Our governor is big upset, but mostly about his interest. Lots of good comments on here, including this one. Disappointed and unsurprisingly Fischer hasn’t spoken out and it directly impacts those in her state that she pushes for their support. and

Kind of like so many people are worried about mental health issues and availability of care, especially in children/teens - as an argument regarding opening schools. Sure, where was that energy a few years back?
That said - yes, refreshing when it's policy stances being debated.

No the bridge in MN that collapsed.
that was one of her talking points about bridges and upkeep
Ok that was what I was wondering but wasn't sure. I'm glad it is still something that gets brought up, since it happened almost 14 years ago(whoa). My late H was a civil engineer that specialized in concrete structures and he HATED bridges and how unsafe so many of them were, lol. I am way late to this but whoa to it being 14 years ago already!

I saw it happen in my rear view mirror but had no idea that was what happened until I had parked and heard from others because it was just a huge dust cloud as I drove.

We have a bridge here and a viaduct that are in desperate need of replacement. Our bridge is similar to or the same as one that collapsed and it makes me very nervous because it's a main bridge for travel.

I have my non-driving hand (or, either hand if I'm passenger) hovering over the window buttons every time I cross a bridge. I'm VERY paranoid about it.

As does Narrows. I got stuck in traffic in the middle of the Narrows and about passed out. I completely understand the window hovering.
