LOL sorry these are so haphazard. I was off work Monday and didn't come in here! Selfishly, Thursday is when my week changes, so it's easier for me for that reason anyway, haha.
Weeks Pregnant:
Baby is the Size of a:
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.:
Appointments:
How are you feeling?
Rants/raves?
GTKY: If you could live anywhere that's NOT where you currently live, where would it be?

Weeks Pregnant: 12
Baby is the Size of: an apricot
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: I met via Zoom with the genetic counselor on Monday, and then went to get drawn for my NIPT. It was a good conversation. There isn't too much for me to worry about, but of course I anxiously await the results of the NIPT anyway. I should hear back by mid next week at the latest (esp since Monday is a holiday).
I have my 12 week OB appt tomorrow, and my NT scan next week. So many appointments!
How are you feeling? Dare I say better? Sort of? Not 100% or even close, but the meds seem to have stabilized my nausea, at least. I am still pretty tired, but I think the exhaustion has improved as well. I am tired this week because I have been getting up before 4 am for work. We will use next week as a better indicator.
Rants/raves? I was able to get my first covid vaccine last week, which is exciting! Also, DD2 is mostly potty trained and hasn't had any accidents for a couple of days! And Trump was impeached for the second time! It's a good week! I don't actually have any rants, which is weird for me. Hah.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere that's NOT where you currently live, where would it be? I would say northern CA just because my parents and my MIL are there. But I have also always thought Seattle would be a great place to live, even though I have never actually visited (we were supposed to go over the summer, and of course we cancelled). Plus H works closely with Amazon and prior to covid was up there a lot anyway. We really love where we live though (San Diego), and we have ultimately decided we don't have a desire to move anywhere else.

I got the call- NIPT results were all negative, so genetic abnormalities won't be too high on our list to be concerned about. That's a relief!

Weeks Pregnant: 11 (tomorrow)
Baby is the Size of a: wild strawberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: 2/4... feels like forever!
How are you feeling? So, I have the flu. So, I’m pretty miserable. Pregnancy related symptoms were pretty low so it’s just these flu symptoms.
Rants/raves? I was sick as hell for 3 days. By day 2 I was like ok I should got get tested for Covid. It took me forever to find somewhere that wasn’t the ER who would see me pregnant with Covid symptoms. Then, once I got my negative Covid it was just as hard to find an urgent care who would see me to test for the flu. I got tamiflu literally in the last few hours I could take it.
To clarify, urgent cares we’re turning me away for Covid symptoms or pregnancy, my OB won’t see me with covid symptoms even with a negative test, my PCP won’t see me pregnant. I found ONE urgent care who would test me then do a telehealth follow up. I get it honestly, all the caution. But still sucks.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere that's NOT where you currently live, where would it be? I love love love Sedona. Although I’ve only been in the fall and I don’t think I’d love it as much in the summer. Lol

Weeks Pregnant: 9 weeks 6 days
Baby is the Size of a: southern pecan
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM
Appointments: I had my appointment today! Baby has a heartbeat of 174 and measured 9 weeks 6 days today. Next scan and appointment is 2/4.
How are you feeling? Not great. My nausea has been out of control. Thankfully my doctor prescribed b6 and phenergan. Waiting for that to be filled.
Rants/raves? I am so hopeful that this will be our rainbow.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere that's NOT where you currently live, where would it be? I would live in London again. That’s where I grew up and I loved it there.

Weeks Pregnant: 8+5
Baby is the Size of a: gummy bear
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM
Appointments: just had one today. Babe had a heartbeat (182) and measuring pretty close to what it should be! Next one is in 4 weeks- February 11.
How are you feeling? Still super nauseous, exhausted, miserable
Rants/raves? I’m just relieved that things are going well this time. I’m going to message my dr to ask for him to order the genetic test.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere that's NOT where you currently live, where would it be?
Somewhere that doesn’t get as much snow. Although I really love where we are 3/4 of the year.

Weeks pregnant: 12 weeks today
Baby is the size of a: lime
FTM/STM/TTM, etc: gestational surrogate, this go around. We are complete with our family of SS, DS, DD.
Appointments: NT ultrasound and NIPT at 1/21. Then next OB on 2/15.
How are you feeling? I’m starting to feel a little better. I have good days and bad. Hoping the second tri energy kicks in soon, I’m still very tired.
Rants/raves: I took today off and I’m being lazy as hell. Currently drinking coffee and watching The Undoing in bed. Planning a nice walk at a nature preserve later. We are also doing an Airbnb this weekend near a very large nature recreation area just to get away— send me good thoughts that DD sleeps though! That’s my only concern; she is a creature of habit.
GTKY: well, I live in Oklahoma which is not my favorite. Central TX would be nice to be closer to family but my ideal would be Colorado. Beautiful, lots of outdoor activities, and my best friend is there.

Weeks Pregnant: 7w6d
Baby is the Size of a: Raspberry I think
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: 4TM
Appointments: I had my first appointment last friday and baby measured at 6w6d then so my due date is August 28th.
How are you feeling? exhausted, nauseous, anxious
Rants/raves? Next appointment is 2/2 and I think they are doing my financial appointment and NIPT draw but I'm not sure. I am always an anxious pregnant lady so I shouldn't be surprised but I've been really crampy which leads me to a dark place. Hopefully my OB at least tries the doppler at my next appointment to give me some piece of mind.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere that's NOT where you currently live, where would it be? I'm in NC now and I like it because we have all 4 seasons, but I would love to move closer to family. Probably not my family because I can only handle them in doses but DH's family who lives in VT. Not going to happen though because DH is opening an actual brick and mortar location for his business here next month.

sarahh, my OB does a Doppler at the very least, and if the HB can't be found on Doppler for whatever reason, they do a U/S. I really appreciate that about that, and I hope it's standard, but I am not sure. Apparently I already have a squirmy baby that likes to move, because we were able to hear HB on Friday with the Doppler, but the little nugget kept moving around and OB had to chase it, lol.
