I really enjoyed last night's episode, despite all the "Kevin's GONNA CRASH!!!" fakest of fake-outs as we saw him alive and well and rocking the silver fox look in many flash forwards. Also, you're RICH. Hire your own private jet, Kevin! I had to LOL about the TSA agent giving a "Sorry, no" to a big ol' Pearson speech. Although in real life, he would have gone to a TSA office, done some verification and gotten on the plane (although Kevin was skating awfully close to his departure time due to stopping for the accident victim). I do wonder if some of Kevin's sense of urgency to get there ASAP was because of Kyle's death at birth and how even with routine pregnancies, things can go very wrong at delivery. We are totally getting the Big 3 Part II with Kevin's twins and Hailey (Kate's daughter) because of all being born on the exact same day. I'm a little bummed about Randall's girls not being a part of that. Although if I think about it, with Deja being adopted by them, they are their own Big 3 of sorts. I liked seeing some more of the backstory with Jack and his father and realizing he wasn't a complete asshole all of the time. Because most people are never all good or all bad. It also reinforces why Jack was always trying to be perfect, with more failing than succeeding in that department. And it was very refreshing for him to acknowledge this in this very episode, to even admitted he was flawed as no matter how he tried to escape his own father, in the end, he was doing to Kevin re football just what his father did to him with baseball. I loved how he told Kevin that he would be a far better father. And his few words to Kevin's coach in the washroom. No speechifying. Just short and very much to the point. And then just calmly handing the coach a paper towel as if this was any other ordinary conversation. I loved Kevin's face here and just the play of emotions of joy and relief and longing to be there this instant! he showed in the space of a few seconds. Randall reaching out to Kevin first to help rebuild the bridge was everything. As was his reaching out to Madison and OMG when he said they could stay on with her. Madison wasn't the only one crying. It's clear she doesn't have a good relationship with her family of original origin so for Randall to call her "family" in one of her most vulnerable moments ever (alone, in labor, during a pan-freaking-demic) was just beautiful.

Kevin was flying out of Seattle and he drove from Vancouver, so how would he not have already had to show his passport to get across the border? Plot hole

They showed he dropped his wallet with his driver's license.

I was thinking his passport was in his jacket that he gave to the accident victim.

I was watching with my mom and I kept saying the car crash will be in the future. I was wrong obvi haha but it was a fake out.
Kevin's person calling and saying he had to come back to set right away, I thought at first they were gonna say he was covid positive.

The episode annoyed me last night. We knew he didn’t die, they just completely dragged it out. Yes, he was in another country, he should have had his passport. I’m sure he will make it just in time for Madison to deliver🙄 I do love how Randall and Beth called Madison and stayed on the phone with her Because she is alone, even though he currently isn’t really speaking with Kevin. She's a Pearson now <3

I especially appreciated Beth and Randall being kind to Madison after the way that whole family treated her when Kate was in labor.

I know I probably should have loved this episode, but I found it tedious and predictable. I am glad everyone got their babies delivered safely though.
The one part that got me was the end with the 5 creating their handprints. Just seeing them so little in that scene and thinking of them as teenagers ignoring their parents and adults having their own babies just made me think of all of those crafts that my kids make now and how fast time passes. I cried for a bit.

I loved everything about tonight’s episode. I wouldn’t call it an amazing episode but it just reminded me why I love them all so much.

I made it through the whole episode not crying. Till the end when they did the explanation of who the random people were.
I thought it was a good episode. I’m glad nothing tragic happened with any of the births.

I’m glad nothing tragic happened with any of the births. I am too. I really thought the birth mom was going to change her mind. In the end I was happy to see the explanation of the random people but was confused and hoping they weren't adding a new storyline.

Kate & Toby: I really liked that they didn’t have the adoptive mother change her mind. Her goodbye to her baby was so sweet. I loved Toby’s tailgate set up in the parking lot and enjoyed his interactions with the older man. It was a nice indirect way to shed light on covid.
Kevin and Madison: I really wanted to hear how Kevin got thru TSA. Lol. But I’m really glad he made it in time. I looovveee him naming one of the twins Nicky. Since Kate gave Jack a nod with little Jack, it was nice to see Kevin give a nod to Nicky. I’m still not sure if Madison and Kevin will work out, but they are growing in me. I also laughed about the mmmbop story and Kevin saying “you just had to tell her the mmmbop story”. Lol
Becca and Jack: I loved the scene with the littles! I also liked that she had that conversation with Miguel. I am curious to hear their backstory. It has to be so hard for him living in Jack’s shadow.

I’ll also add, when the big 3 blew off their parent and didn’t want to go to the cabin. That really hit me. Dd is 9 and it hit me that we are not that far off from that stage. Even now, she prefers to chat with her friends over messenger while eating dinner than eat with us.

I watched! I was shocked that Rebecca and Jack let the kids stay back for their sleepovers instead of going to the cabin. I tell you what, if my parents said we're going for a family weekend of camping, we went camping. All of us, no ifs ands or buts. Loved the story the writers wove in about the couple that was unrelated to the Pearsons - for a bit I was wondering if they might be Miguel's parents The pigs and bit with Toby and the parking lot neighbor really got to me, and Kevin calling Nicky with the news. I hope Nicky comes back to the storyline soon, I really enjoy his character. Beth and Randall remain my favorites.

I was also wondering if they might be Miguel's parents at first, but I think it was a neat side story in the times of COVID when people are relying on the internet more than ever to stay in touch.

I spent way too much of the episode trying to date math in my head. It said 1963. If they had the kid right away, it'd be born in '64. The big 3 were born in '80, then if that was Miguel, he would have been 16 when they were born and he'd be 20 years younger than Rebecca. Or at least Jack, I can't remember if she's younger than him and by how much.

I have no idea why but I got chills when the older gentleman gave that pig to Toby and when Kate said “the new big 3” The old guy was the one that shot Derrick Sheperd (and a bunch of other people at Grey Sloane or whatever it was called at the time) and I've seen that episode so my times that when I see his face, my heart starts racing.

The name of the show referred to a collection of dads..can’t remember it exactly.

It was like a mix of This is Us and A Million Little Things.

Add me to the group that couldn't stop thinking about how that was the guy that shot Derek in Greys lol.
I cried when the birth mom was talking to the baby, and also when Madison gave birth to her twins. I have been holding onto some birth regret around my c-section so that really hit me. I also got emotional at all the video calls since that is how we had to introduce the twins to our families last year.
I'm glad the babies and moms were all delivered ok. Not much really advanced in the storyline aside from the babies so I don't have much to say on the storyline from the past. As it is now, a cabin getaway with just H sounds amazing so I totally saw where Rebecca was coming from but maybe when my 3 are older I will feel differently, ha.

I don’t think I will ever not think of this man as the shooter at Greys
