Had my 30 week checkup today, baby was moving a ton and kept kicking the doppler. And I passed the 3 hour GTT (whew).
My mom was going to come out to help with the kids/give me a bit of a break, but her aunt passed away and then she got COVID from family who came to visit so she’s been quarantining in a different state. Thankfully her case is mild, but it’s delaying her visit by a lot and I’m bummed. My H has been working a ton and I could use the extra hands!

I went back today for an NST and repeat ultrasound and the baby looks great. Totally fine. The tech was super apologetic. She said she can’t delete pictures during the ultrasound but what happened was a total normal thing to happen during hiccups and they shouldn’t even have had me come back in which a different midwife than I saw last time confirmed. I’m so glad the baby is okay but damn. That was a lot of anxiety on me for nothing! 😑 So glad to hear all was well! Sorry about all the stress for nothing.

And I hope you're able to get a much-needed break...at some point.

So I am currently in the hospital. I had contractions at 30w4d on Thursday PM. They weren’t terribly painful but 3 min apart so we dropped the kids off at my parents and headed in to get checked out.
I have had some trouble fully emptying my bladder and when I got there I couldn’t empty at all. They placed a catheter and the contractions went away and everything else looked good so they sent me home with the catheter. Woke up at 4AM and felt some wetness. Thought the catheter came out but when I stood up blood started pooling on the floor. We obviously panicked. Called an ambulance and went in to get checked. I was convinced I was having another aburption and scared for baby. When we got to the hospital baby girl was still doing great. Turns out it’s a bleed from the previa. Protocol is to monitor for 5 days if no more bleeds at hospital you go home. This can happen one more time but if you go in for a 3rd bleed you stay until baby comes.
I’m 31 weeks today. DS was born due to abruption at 31 weeks...it’s definitely a mind fuck. For now things are stabile and baby girl is doing great and I’m thankful for that. Just praying that we can keep her in here as long as possible...

jense927 - wow! That’s scary. I hope it all goes away and you are able to keep cooking your baby.

Shit jense927, I'm so sorry you're going through that! It's all too familiar. Thank goodness it wasn't an abruption. I'll be thinking of you!!

jense927 holy shit. I'm so glad it wasn't an abruption and you still have the chance of going home in a few days. Cook a little longer, little one!

This is officially the most pregnant I have ever been. My big kid was born at 38+1, I am 38+2 today.
Also, I just scheduled my COVID screening for next Thursday. 😬 I'm having a kid in a week and a half or two weeks max.

Well I am home for now! First sign of any bleeding at all will be a readmission for minimum 5 days. They said that usually if you are going to have another bleed it happens within 5 days of the first bleed and we are past that point now so I am really really hoping that things just stay calm until this girl's scheduled C-section.

Though baby would not cooperate for my NST this morning so I'm back at the hospital for additional monitoring. Really hoping he behaves here and I can be on my way.

Oh good to hear about no more bleeding. Sucks about the NST. DD1 always gave me trouble with NSTs. This baby has been good so far. I hope all is well and you can be on your way shortly!
