Fingers crossed events take place this year. My two big events for this year is a trail running weekend in Scotland and NYC marathon. Both rescheduled from last year and I will be pissed if they are moved again.

Yes, fingers crossed. I'd like to register for my local marathon that is in September. They don't have anything about 2021 on their site yet though so I'm not terribly hopeful.

My goal this month is 50 miles. I think that is manageable. I might need to do C25K again to regain my speed.

I started the year with a 3.25 mile run on new year's day then took a couple days off because we all have covid. Cool cool cool.
Did 2 super slow miles this morning.

Another recovery paced 2 miles yesterday and today. It's tiring but feels ok. My heart rate is way high though.

Honestly I’ve used running to cope with this in several ways. My mind likes to believe if I can get out there and hustle, then I’m not infected. Keeps me from playing the what if game too much.

I've been sticking to 2 miles runs at recovery paces all week, minus yesterday when I rode my trainer. Hopefully this week I'll be ready to start adding back in more time/distance and speed again.

Starting a new HM plan today so had to do a benchmark run - 2min warm up, 5min hard run, 2min cool down. Quick and easy.

I'm not following any plan, I just make sure I get a variety of workouts in each week; intervals, tempo, endurance, etc. If races ever get reinstated here I'll start marathon training, but I'm losing hope that I'll be able to race any time soon.
