I dont care if you did a 60 minute intense workout or 10 squats while waiting on the onions to saute. Tell me what you did to get moving.

I did actually do 10 squats today but I was baking cookies, not sautéing onions. Balance.
Yesterday I hiked 14km while pulling 75 lbs of kid on a toboggan. Planning to do it again tomorrow.

I really struggle with motivation these days. I need to lose 5-7lbs (~3kg) to feel better about myself. I know it's not a lot, but sometimes "not a lot" seems the hardest to lose. Maybe when the kids are back in school? ? ?

Do squats while your coffee brews.

Take Loren for a training walk (much needed) or use the rower without being interrupted.

I'm too wimpy to get outside before the kids are awake for an actual cardio walk vs walking with them to the park so I need to start doing the Walk at Home videos again. I'm setting my alarm right now for 6am tomorrow. ETA this was in response to tj's great idea to pick one thing. I set my alarm for 6am Sun, Tues and Thurs.

I just walked around the neighborhood. It's a start! A neighborhood and kids and dogs makes this easy!

We dug the bike out of the garage and I did a twenty minute peleton workout. Not in a peleton but you can still watch the videos. I bet I’ll be sore.

I got on the rower and did 3,000m. Takes me about 13-14 mins and hoping to do this at least 4 times a week.

I did a 20 minute "super walk" on YouTube this morning. It felt great to actually raise my heart rate. I need to find my hand weights for Tuesday's walk.

I shoveled about 5 inches of heavy wet snow on Saturday morning and then spent 4 hours cleaning out the kids playroom.
Yesterday I spent most of the day with a heating pad on my lower back from Saturday.
Planning a low impact spin class after the kids are in bed tonight.

I need to figure out how to get motivated, especially when the weather is crappy. I hate how sedentary I've become, like at least back in the spring and summer I was taking walks.

I found the motivation to row (lightly) for 10 minutes! I only did about 700m, but I'm glad I did it. I think last time, I pushed myself too hard and that's what messed up my back. So, I'm going lightly this time

I am feeling good and ready to get back to working out. I do t think my life ha are quite ready for running yet. But I rode my bike a little and have taken a few walks. I plan to walk at lunch Monday and Friday this week while I’m at the office. Wednesday I have yoga. Tuesday and Thursday I’ll try to ride my bike either at home or at the gym depending on the weather. I would like to do yoga Saturday morning too. We shall see how long this motivation lasts.

My favorite workout lady is starting a new 90 day challenge on Monday so I just signed up. I paid $30 to do the contest part so maybe that will keep me motivated.

Has anyone used a bike stand that turns your bike into a stationary one? J has a bike that's not getting much use in the winter and I'm thinking it might be worth trying as an indoor way to exercise. I used to like biking back long ago when we went to the gym, it was just the going to the gym part that was the most annoying.

Ours is probably 7 years old so i dont know what brand it is - but it works and it was likely low-mid level price range because I'm cheap.
I was just thinking about seeing if there is a better one out there...I can't really climb/stand up and pedal on it without feeling a little wobbly. But that may just be what it is. Either way I sweat big time. Throw a show on and time flies.
