I don't usually do resolutions. But I like to set yearly goals. Whats on your check list for 2021?

More book reading/less mindless internet scrolling Get back into tennis A project list the length of a CVS receipt for our house But seriously, I need to sit down and come up with a master plan/vision with colors, fabrics, furniture layouts, etc. Most realistic items for '21: - artwork & window treatments for kids' rooms - built-ins for family room - hopefully new family room furniture - finish re-landscaping front yard

Eat less, lose weight, read more. Get out of the house more. Get Cadence reading more. Work on lessening household chaos.

-New couches for living room and family room -Tear up carpeting in formal living and dining room/lay hardwood to match rest of house
We’d LOVE to be able travel again but I realize this is highly dependent on the COVID situation and not within my control.

So I had some time to think on the drive back home today.
This year I want to focus on self-care. Well-rounded, internal self-care. This past year or two I haven’t been the best at being intentional with what I put in body and making sure I’m consistent with working out. So I want to dive (back) into making sure I am eating foods that will make my body feel good, making sure I am exercising on a regular basis, making sure I am drinking water and a lot less sugary drinks.
I need to be more mindful. Less mindless scrolling on the phone and realizing my stressors and tackling them head on instead of trying to ignore them. Putting my mind to work in reading a book or tasking myself with things that can help me be more efficient at navigating the day to day.
I have a lot of work to do, but I will take it day by day.

I want to continue learning Spanish (haven’t missed a day in 164 days) and I want to learn how to invest my money. I wish I took classes on that stuff when I was younger instead of classes like “office work” where I filed papers for the head of guidance.

Re:investing I need to put that on my list because I have said the same thing in the last couple of years. If you find good info/books/classes on it, please share. Back in March when the market tanked I got one of those free trade accounts and did my best after reading a bit. I just checked it the other day and I’m gaining, so I must have done something right??! 🤷🏽♀️

- less social media (put a distraction limit or something on my phone) - get kids clothes under control - hang pictures - learn to be neater/less cluttered - some new furniture in living/dining room for storage - lots of socializing and travel once it's safer - graduate - drink more water - more outside time
