Yep. I know it's still December but I didn't want to start a December thread that would end in 2 days...
How is everyone doing?
My PGAL brain is in overdrive. I'm not even 6 weeks yet but freaking out about EVERYTHING. Today's freakout: I feel like my symptoms should be way stronger than thru are at this point. My breasts have only just started hurting and I have virtually no nausea...which I really need to kick in in the next few days for peace of mind:/

I’m sorry for the PGAL anxiety sammysam and those others here who have posted about that. I just got scheduled for my first dose of covid vaccine on Thursday so I’m really happy about that. Covid has greatly affected the way I’m able to do my job and I really miss going on home visits. I hope as this vaccination continues to roll out that I will be able to get back to home visits eventually.

I'm sorry for the PGAL worries skategirl128 and sammysam. FWIW, my first pregnancy there was very little nausea. My sister never really got nauseous with her two pregnancies. Some people just don't. And I kind of hate them for it. Kiddinnnnnnnggggggg (mostly).

Today is a better day than yesterday was, at least. I am able to make it through the entire work day. The amount of sleep I get the night before seems to be directly correlated to how well I feel the next day. I was in bed by 9, and didn't wake up until about 6, so that really helped. The previous night I had to be up earlier, and went to bed later, and it was not good.
My MIL is here to help, which is great. She had to quarantine after being exposed to covid a couple weeks ago, which was a bummer, but she was cleared by her doc, so she came down, just a little later than expected. My FIL passed last year, so I know the holidays are especially tough for her. H is her only child, so she spends as much time with us as possible. And honestly I am so fortunate to have her. I get along with her better than I do my own mother!

thatgolfb I wouldn't be worried at all if this was my first, but I had HG with both of my girls and both of my MMCs...so if the nausea doesn't start soon then I'm definitely going to be worried! Luckily my breasts were much more tender today so I'm holding on to that!

PGAL is a special kind of hell.
I hit 9 weeks tomorrow and that feels like a milestone so that’s nice. I was also horribly nauseous this afternoon so another comfort.
MH wanted to do the sneak peek test so I sent that in today and get results tomorrow. He wants to find out with our parents on Saturday and tbh, idk if I’ll be patient enough.

I have my first appointment/ultrasound today. I’m both excited and super nervous. I told my H last night that I hate feeling like crap but it’s kind of reassuring when I do.
I’m sorry for everyone who is having PGAL anxiety. It’s a rough place to be and I’m right there with you. I know I’m going to be an anxious mess the next couple of weeks until I get past my mmc date.

I’ve also been sleeping really bad and that’s making it hard to function during the day.

The US went great- the tech was able to get some pretty good pics abdominally and my MFM said I can come in sooner than my US in 2 weeks if anxiety gets the better of me. I also got some meds to help with the all day nausea/can’t function after I eat for hours thing.

mrspants, yay! I am glad the US was good and that you have meds. The reglan is helping me quite a bit. I still sometimes feel like crap after eating, no matter what I eat, which is frustrating. But then my stomach can't get too empty, either.

Sooo my SneakPeek was confirmed received and I was supposed to get my results by 11pm eastern and nothing. So I’m kind of pissed. I realize FWP and literally doesn’t hurt anything but still pissed I paid for it and didn’t receive it and you can’t contact them other than submitting a form.

thatgolfb I can’t remember what the medicine is but it’s one I need to take daily. And he also prescribed zofran for immediate use if needed. They weren’t ready by the time I got near the pharmacy yesterday and we love 20-25 minutes away from the pharmacy and I didn’t want to go back out once I got home yesterday. I’ll be getting them today (and lunch) when I go back into town.

I got an email back- stating they’ve sent my results twice. To which I replied well I haven’t gotten them inbox or spam. So I sent them two alternative emails and still nothing.
Anddd I paid for the expedited test. So I’m thoroughly annoyed. They don’t have a direct chat or number. It’s allll email. Soooo inefficient.

Well my intuition was right. Started spotting today and my hcg is only 322. Definitely a loss. Ultrasound tomorrow to decide next steps.
Good luck to all of you:)

Thanks guys:) I think I'm throwing in the TTC towel and were going to stick at 2. A 33% success rate feels like the universe telling me to count my blessings and put my uterus out to pasture!

I feel like a dolt. I had my covid vaccine scheduled for this morning and just... completely forgot. I am normally SO on top of these things and militant about being on time. I can’t believe I did that! Ugh. I will reschedule but I’m annoyed with myself.
