32w tomorrow, due 2/15. Diagnosed with GD as well, but dubious on how accurate it is. My big is 2.5 and absolutely enthused for a baby sibling! OMG WHAT Best reaction 😂

Hi! We totally have birth month boards. They're just slow, come play! 😉
I'm due June 1 with baby 2. I'm right in the sweet spot when I'm not sick and not big.
I had a couple questions. How far into pregnancy would you be comfortable going snowboarding? I'm a pretty cautious boarder and baby is not even 4" long. I'd have to fall on something on my belly to put the baby in danger right? There's more chance of that happening at home from tripping over my toddler. Also the question is if i can still zip my snowboard jacket 🙈.
Another question about exercise that i typed up on the 2021 page, maybe i should c&p here.

I’m pregnant with a hopeful rainbow due approximately 8/4. I have a 13 year old DS and a 9 year old SS. I really didn’t think I’d get pregnant again so it’s been a roller coaster of emotions for me these last couple of weeks. I had a mmc years ago and then never got pregnant again. I’ve got quite a bit of all day nausea which is a first for me. I’m praying for a heartbeat on 1/14 for my ultrasound and first appointment. What ?!?! I'm so happy & excited for you !!

I’m 21 weeks with a baby boy. DS (9) is super pumped to be a big brother and says he will do everything except change poop diapers. 😂
This baby has been kicking my ass since day 1, and I feel like garbage puking/in pain essentially 24/7. I’ve also got wicked SPD so my sex life has been absolutely steamrolled. I’m trying to be super happy/excited about this baby because he’s our rainbow, but I would very much like him to stop ruining my life at all times.
Also, has anyone had weird shooting pain (I don’t know if it’s *pain* so much as a weird, uncomfortable sensation) on your belly when you move weird? It feels like when you hit your funny bone, just on my belly.

I was worried because I have an anterior placenta and it almost feels like a tug on it.

I was worried because I have an anterior placenta and it almost feels like a tug on it. I think this can still be the same thing... pulled this from web md. My lining crotch can spread across for sure. But def ask your doc too!!!
Symptoms of Round Ligament Pain
Round ligament pain can be concerning and uncomfortable. But it is considered normal as your body changes during pregnancy.
The symptoms of round ligament pain include a sharp, sudden spasm in the belly. It usually affects the right side, but it may happen on both sides. The pain only lasts a few seconds.

donnameagle RLP is better than anything else, IMO!! Ive seen some medical pics of RLP in "action" - like showing where it is all connected - I def think it can pull across the belly. But always call your doc if you are worried! Doesn't sound like a contraction however

I was worried because I have an anterior placenta and it almost feels like a tug on it. My RPL was definitely high up near my belly button, and it was also sometimes a sustained pain for more than a few seconds, so I was pretty nervous it was my appendix or something. Just RPL though. I’d talk to your doctor and they will walk you through some questions to rule out anything worrying.

I was told no more outdoor cycling past first trimester when pregnant with my first and I just upheld that recommendation through all my pregnancies. I feel like snowboarding, which I also love, kind of falls in that same camp.

Definitely not past first trimester, and probably not past about 10 weeks personally. I was told not to do any exercise/activity that had a substantial fall risk, even if you're not likely to hit your belly. The impact of any bad fall can create risk of the placenta partially detaching.

alwayscheese, I think it would depend on how comfortable you are? And how your ligaments and balance are going? I skated through my whole pregnancy (literally up a couple of days before I gave birth, and that’s just bc it was the last practice before I went into labor), but I had been skating for years (roller derby) to that point and my ligaments didn’t seem to ever get loose. Again, IMO, it’s a personal thing. One of my teammate stopped skating early due to loose ligaments while another that skated the whole time like me. Just to clarify, I only skated while other people were practicing and we had the rink to ourselves. I wasn’t trying to do that in open skate.

Thanks cnf thatgolfb sewfi2 aydee. I feel great and could still hide my pregnancy if i wanted. No balance or joint issues. But the placental abruption from a hard fall is something scary i hadn't thought of. Definitely won't be going this year without midwife's approval, but pry won't have a chance anyway before I'm getting bigger.

Tlex rosalind and everyone else... My MFM appt went SO well this morning. I am at a strong 3.3 cervix length, some angles measured as long as 3.75. When the tech pulled it up she said just by eyeballing she could see it was longer. Cervix is still strong, and closed even with pressure. No funneling. As of now, we will not need to do surgery. I go back in a week from now. Stay on the progesterone and don't stand longer than 30 min at a time. Still no exercise or sex for now, but we are on the right track. I was shocked that it was so much longer - the doc was very happy but we won't stop watching it. Baby looked great too - lots of fluid (which was an issue with my previous second tri loss - but not the main one). Hallelujah, Holy Shit. Where's the Tylenol.
ETA: she thinks the shortened length was due to all of my activity. H and I had hiked about 10 miles in the mountains the week before and I was still running and lifting weights a few times a week. I was never instructed not to, as cervix length was never an issue before. That's all out the window now - lol.
