Weeks Pregnant: 25&5 Baby is the Size of a: Cauliflower FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM Team: Pink Appointments: I had my glucose test this week...I don't expect to pass it since I didn't last time. I go back 12/11 for a routine appointment and a growth check since she was measuring a little small at my anatomy scan How are you feeling? I'm starting to feel big. It hurts to get out of bed and it's uncomfortable getting in and out of bed, on and off the couch, etc. But it's not terrible yet. Some heartburn here and there too. Rants/raves? I'm excited for Christmas even though we will probably only be seeing my parents which is fine. My brother and his girlfriend were going to be involved in Christmas, but they can't seem to stop seeing outside people and doing things and I'm just not comfortable taking any chances. General rant about all the idiots who can't seem to wear their masks and social distance! GTKY - What are your plans for Christmas this year? See above. We'll probably have a big brunch on Christmas and my son will open all his presents and then just relaxing. We really were going to be modest with his gifts, but it kind of spiraled and DH and I both kept seeing things and thinking well just one more thing. He's not yet 2, so he's still too little to really understand Christmas or be too spoiled yet!

Weeks Pregnant: 24 weeks!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: Tomorrow...have a follow up to my AS where they found I have placenta previa. They are worried about accreta because of my previous C-sections. Sounds like I will likely have to deliver at 36 weeks and I am just nervous about the delivery if I do in fact have accreta. It can be very dangerous with blood loss etc. So we'll see how tomorrow goes. I have an US, call with MFM, appointment with my new OB (who delivers at a more prominent hospital in the area as per recommendation of my old OB). So tomorrow should be intense.
How are you feeling? I am feeling okay! Lots of kicks lately and can start to see my belly move around for the big kicks. Definitely have been getting worn out faster than normal so have been trying to keep it low key. Kind of hard to do with 2 kids to run after but MH has been doing a good job taking the brunt of the physical kid work.
Rants/raves? Just nervous about tomorrow.
GTKY - What are your plans for Christmas this year? We are getting together with my family (Mom, Dad and 2 sisters). Initially they wanted to do a bigger thing with more extended family but given the rise in cases in our area we are pairing it back a bit.

Weeks Pregnant: 22+1
Baby is the Size of a: eggplant (tee hee)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Dec 22nd, was supposed to be just a doppler check but they may end up doing an US to follow up from Friday's issues
How are you feeling? Physically, well. I love feeling kicks. Emotionally, pretty anxious.
Rants/raves? See update in the Chit Chat thread.
GTKY - What are your plans for Christmas this year? No plans. We will likely be staying home and just celebrating as a family of 4. Covid is so bad in OH. My dad was diagnosed 4 days after Thanksgiving, and mom was 4 days after him with her symptoms. They're doing okay now, still weak, but that confirms to me that us staying home and not having anyone over for Thanksgiving was a great choice, so it is also the right choice for Christmas.

jense927, I'll be thinking of you! Sounds like they're monitoring you closely and taking all the precautions, so that's encouraging.

So I met with my new OB and she is awesome. I felt brushed off by my previous OB and MFM with them just always rushing through the call/appointment so it was really refreshing to have a doctor I connected with and took the time to listen and explain.
She says she is the doctor with the most experience with accretas at the hospital I am delivering at so that is reassuring. My US yesterday still showed previa so she wants to get ahead of it and put a CS on the books for 36w4d on March 12th. She said these things are much better when planned for versus being an emergent situation. It feels good to have a plan.

jense927 Aw, man, that's rough. I'm glad you and your new OB have a plan you feel good with, though. Hopefully everything else goes smoothly from here. ❤ Weeks Pregnant: 31,2 Baby is the Size of a: Croquembouche FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: Second earthside kiddo Team: Green Appointments: GD appt on Friday How are you feeling? Mostly just sore and achey. I'm also nesting like whoa, which is not helping. 🤦🏽♀️ So I keep overworking myself and then I hurt. Rants/raves? Mostly just that I want to not ache so I can get shit done, damnit. I actually have some modicum of motivation for once in my life and I can't even act on it. 😫 GTKY - What are your plans for Christmas this year? I *think* we are going to my parents' house briefly? And my sister might drive up? She lives in another state and seems like she still is somewhat social, so nervous about that, but my parents live maybe 1.5 miles from me and both work from home, so I'm pretty cool with them. We'll see how things shake out. I have to think about not just me and our family, but also the family I babysit for a few times each week who also has a pregnant member and small child.

jense927 ahhh sorry about the placenta troubles, glad there’s a plan though! Is there a chance it could still move out of the way in the next few months?

jense927 ahhh sorry about the placenta troubles, glad there’s a plan though! Is there a chance it could still move out of the way in the next few months? Yes which would definitely be a good sign but doesn’t rule out accreta apparently. I asked what the odds of accreta and MFM said placenta previa with 2 previous c-sections is 11%. So high as far as risk goes but odds are still in my favor that it won’t be accreta and will have a smooth delivery.
