Weeks Pregnant: 6
Baby is the Size of a: blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM 🤞🏼
Appointments: ultrasound on 12/22 & initial OB on 1/7
How are you feeling? Mostly fine. My boobs hurt. I get nauseous in the evening but mostly just gag. Yesterday was awful though. I also have some congestion that is definitely pregnancy related. More like a swollen nose than congestion. I just struggle to breathe. Still dealing with a lot of anxiety, but feel good about hitting 6 weeks. Only one of my losses was after 6 weeks, so little milestone?
Rants/raves? I got my levels from my neurologist for my anticonvulsants and they’re low already. So not thrilled about that. I have to make the choice to up them or wait and see. Upping them increases risk of neural tube defects so it really is a hard choice. On the other hand, having a breakthrough seizure isn’t great either.
GTKY: what’s your favorite holiday tradition? (Def stolen from TTGP) (edited because I forgot to answer) I just remarried last September. So still figuring it out with a split home & a spouse (I have 2 DS from a previous marriage & XH wasn’t around much until last summer). I do love the Elf on the Shelf though. We also drive around and look at Christmas lights with hot chocolate. Oh, and I love baking with my boys.

Weeks pregnant: 7 weeks today
Baby is the size of: blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM, etc: we have four between us, I’ve birthed two. This is just a belly buddy pregnancy - I’m a gestational surrogate this pregnancy.
Appointments: 12/28 with local IVF monitoring clinic, then hopefully released to my own OB. Tentative with my own OB on 1/4.
How are you feeling? Pretty yuck for about the past week. Low level nausea and very fatigued. Constantly eating carbs since that helps. Just tried some hard candy today and that helps too. I’ve never been nauseous in previous pregnancies... perhaps it’s the fertility medications? Who knows. I’m just taking it day by day. Dental pain did resolve though thank goodness.
Rants/raves: DD hid my hairbrush somewhere and I can’t find it. I realize these random but it’s driving me crazy! It’s my favorite brush and I have really thick tangly hair.
What’s your favorite holiday tradition? We are still building our own honestly. I love driving around looking at lights. DS loves helping me decorate the house. Watching Christmas movies together.

Also, anyone else dealing with light headedness? For a few days I feel like I can’t do much of anything or I feel like I’m going to pass out. Not sure if hypotension or low sugar? My 9th pregnancy and never experienced this before. Waiting for my doc to respond.

My 9th pregnancy and never experienced this before. Waiting for my doc to respond. I had extreme vertigo and light headedness with my last pregnancy. I have no suggestions to help- mine just went away on its own.

Weeks Pregnant: 3w6d
Baby is the Size of a: no clue - I haven’t even looked yet.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM 🤞🏼
Appointments: Waiting to hear back - but should be around 6 weeks.
How are you feeling? Tired - my DD hasn’t been sleeping well the last 2 weeks and so I’m DRAGGING. Also the slight dizziness/headaches suck and ugh.
Rants/raves? I just want to get past my mmc date.
GTKY: what’s your favorite holiday tradition? I love the homemade Advent Calendar I made years ago. I also just love the Mrs. Claus tradition of new pjs, Xmas movie, and snacks that we open/do on Xmas eve.

Weeks Pregnant: 3w2d
Baby is the Size of a: poppyseed
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM 🤞🏼
Appointments: Nothing booked yet. I have to take DD2 for her 18 month shots on January 4th so I might hijack her appointment as long as I make it that far...
How are you feeling? Physically fine. Just nausea and food aversion but I had HG the entire 9 months with both of my girls so I expect it. Emotionally I'm stressed. Super stressed. Every little twinge has me convinced that I'm bleeding. One day at a time I guess.
Rants/raves? Ummm...well we got pregnant...I wasn't sure it was going to happen again for us given my age...I thought our chemical in September was maybe my last shot...but here I am. Pregnancy #6 and hoping to be able to bring home baby #3 at the end of it.
GTKY: what’s your favorite holiday tradition? Our family get together on Xmas eve. We'll miss it this year, but hopefully in a year or 2 we'll be able to get back to it!

Thanks alwayscheese I have to convince my doctor to let me wait until 10 weeks for my first US. I need it to be definitive one way or another. I hate limbo. At least by 10 weeks if there's no heartbeat then there's no "maybe you're just earlier than you thought" comments. Why does the beginning have to be so so stressful???

Weeks Pregnant: 7w 5d
Baby is the Size of a: I use Ovia, and according to that, it's the size of a wee raspberry or a Brookesia micra chameleon, haha
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: Had one yesterday! Next one will be Jan 11th- a telehealth visit with a genetic counselor. Just standard since I will officially have a geriatric pregnancy when I give birth (I turn 35 in March)- huzzah! Next actual OB appt is Jan 14th. Nuchal translucency U/S is Jan 19th.
How are you feeling? Fucking awful! My nausea has been bad. I was taking unisom + B6 nightly and it still wasn't really helping all that much. My OB prescribed generic Reglan, and it seems to be helping. I am doing that twice daily plus the unisom and B6. I started the reglan on Friday night and basically slept all day Saturday, but it seems to have evened out a little and I am not quite as exhausted. I'm basically spent after my work day is done, though, which makes parenting rough.
Rants/raves? Re: parenting being rough, H has been amazing. He has been on top of his parenting game, and giving me ample time to rest. He even went and got my car washed and detailed this weekend. It's so great. I feel pampered.
GTKY: what’s your favorite holiday tradition? We don't have too many traditions. I guess just watching Christmas movies. We have been watching A LOT of movies, since it's all I can really do in the evenings. DD1 is almost 7, and is into my faves like The Santa Clause and Home Alone. She has been obsessed with Home Alone 3, which I had never actually seen until this year. I have seen the first two countless times.

thatgolfb DD1 is almost 7 as well and has been obsessed with the Hone Alone movies for a couple of years now. Is 3 the one with the remote control car and the chickenpox? I like that one.

DD1 requested Elf soon, too, so I think that will be on our list for this weekend!
MIL was exposed to covid yesterday and was supposed to be our child care next week when DCP is off, so there will be even MORE screen time for my kids next week since H will have to keep them home with him while he works (I work outside the home). Weeeeeeee.
