Dr. jean Jacques Ranted says that Ivermectin DESTORYS the virus in 48 hours. Not sure how accurate that is. I am pretty sure I deworm our goats with Ivermectin. Maybe I should stir some in my coffee tomorrow since we are currently quarantining at home after a very Exposed exposure this past weekend.

You aren't alone in your desire for them to drop like flies. I'm also furious they have access to treatments that the regular public does not. They act recklessly and carelessly and then when they inevitably get infected they're able to get immediate access to any and all interventions. If you're not full of rage at the hypocrisy and unfairness of it all, you're not paying attention. *poof*

There is just something satisfying about a despicable human being who licked Dump's boots being left out in the cold when he tries to cash in on his white house ties.

Retired Army General LLoyd Austin is the Secretary of Defense nominee. Per CNN, if confirmed, General Austin would be the first black man in the role.
ETA: short article by Biden on why he selected General Austin. In part, it's because of General Austin's coordination of bringing 150k troops home in December 2011. Also because Biden "sought his advice, seen his command, and admired his calm and his character.....He built a career grounded in service to this country and challenged the institution that he loves to grow more inclusive and more diverse at every step."

Per CBS News www.cbsnews.com/news/supreme-court-rejects-gop-pennsylvania-suit-overturn-election-results/The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday spurned a request from Republican allies of President Trump to decertify Pennsylvania's election results, foreclosing hopes from Mr. Trump and his backers that the justices would help deliver him a second term in the White House. In a one-line unsigned order, the high court left intact a decision from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that tossed out a lawsuit led by Republican Congressman Mike Kelly challenging a 2019 law that expanded mail-in voting in the state. "The application for injunctive relief presented to Justice Alito and by him referred to the Court is denied," the order said.

Covid is not a parasite, so not sure it's really going to help.

Biden tapped Rep Marcia Fudge for HUD.
I didn't want a lot of pulling from the Hill but I fully support this nomination. She's awesome.

I wanted her for Ag Secretary because I think she would've been amazing for food security issues. I'm a little harrumph about it going to a dude from IA because it doesn't seem like any kind of pivot. At least it wasn't Collin Peterson I guess.

In case anyone is feeling anxiety over the Texas suit, this should make you feel a bit better.

Like, the legality and all. It's certainly happened before when one states sues another. And in these instances the supreme court would have jurisdiction. Refusing to hear the case basically supports that law people are following day to day.
