Cadence is in the 94%(67lbs) for weight and 87th for height. She's 4'2. 1'2" more and she'll be as tall as me. So crazy. I asked about her weight, but after looking at her charts, she is on her same curve, no weird jumps, so she said not to worry about it. I mean, the kid is in Size 10s as a 1st grader, so I felt inclined to ask. Other than that I questioned possible adhd and odd concerns, but the pedi said to wait it out and see if anything changes once she is back in f2f school and all of that. She felt a lot of it could just be from this stage year and Cadence not coping well with it. They didn't test her eyes since she has glasses and we already see someone for that, but her hearing was perfect, which tells me she's just ignoring me, not having hearing issues.
Other than that she looked good and answered questions on her own, so we stabbed her with a flu shot and called it good.

M is 67% for weight (54lbs) and 23% for height (3'10"). Vision & hearing were fine and I didn't have any concerns.

lol at we stabbed her with a flu shot. klong11 She swore she wouldn't cry because once you turn 7 you no longer cry during shots. Plus, if she didn't cry I was supposed to take her to the pet store to look at the fish and stuff. Ok, sure.
She didn't cry though. I thought she almost started to, but she sucked it up.

Out of lurkdom to say my then 4 year old took his like a champ and my 6 year old screamed and required two nurses to hold her down.

loony Stop being a lurker and post more! I will - I also have no idea of either kids' stats, because H took them and did not grab the post paperwork. Nothing to report I guess on that.

We don’t have yearly well checks over here (normal is 5y/9y/14y). I measured his height on his birthday and we regularly weigh him to keep an eye out. Long story short; 4.04ft & 41 lbs, so getting taller everyday, but still incredibly skinny.

I just realized with her weight I need to take off the back of her highback booster in my car. She has now graduated to just a regular booster!

This reminds me, I need to reschedule Matthew's. They changed their well check and covid hours after I made the appointment and had to cancel it. I need to call them and schedule.

H’s well check was a few days after her bday 47lbs, 38% 3’9.5, 13%
She’s small, still wearing a size 6 and I don’t see her outgrowing that for a long time. I think she wears a 12 or 13 in shoes. Doctors (there was a resident in with her pedi) said everything looked great.

S is 41lbs (15th%) and 3’7” (4th%). She’s still in a size 10 shoe and wearing size 6 clothes. But most pants are big on her. I buy the adjustable waist jeans and have to adjust them up so much she kinda has a bubble butt with the excess Jean material. 😂

We were in size 8 for literally the blink of an eye. She has some size 8 pants that were never even touched. Some size 8/10 dresses are ok, but we've moved into 10 for leggings, some being 10/12, and 10s for shirts. Size 2/3 for shoes depending on the shoe.
Meanwhile I'm pretty sure I was in Size 12 through middle school.

Our appointment is not till the 18th but S stats seem to be similar to trtlcrzy's H. Only he might be skinnier. I think the last time I weighed him he was like 44 lbs. He is so skinny, just like I was a little kid. No idea how tall he is, but he's definitely the shortest of all his friends. At this rate, he'll be in a booster seat till high school lol. His feet are bigger though. The last shoes I got him were a 13 and I haven't had him measured in forever, so he's probably bigger than that now.

Oh and he's solidly in size 6. On laundry day the other day we threw some old size 5 sweats on him, and... they fit.

None of the pediatricians here are seeing kids in person unless an immunization is needed, so Colin has an April appointment on the books. Chase's 4 month appointment was in person over the summer (3 months late) when they were temporarily seeing patients, so his stats were all messed up.

Ours weren't doing in-person until just right before November. I think they've gone back to not seeing anyone over 2 again now that we're in purple. Thankfully we have a pretty rad telehealth available through my insurance and have used the same Peds out of a nearby town (who is actually a close friend of mine's Ped) for the past year. She is a great resource of when to go to urgent care or ER...which thankfully we haven't needed to do.

I'd be fine if they cancel S appt. I truthfully have no concerns and was planning on using the time to ask the dr all sorts of questions about B, lol. S is healthy and normal and has no issues other than normal 7 y/o crap. He's tiny. But I'm 5'1 and was skin and bones till my late 20s, and MH is only 5'7 so I don't worry about that, it's just genes.

We go over what he eats/drinks and they say “well your doing everything right. Just be careful...”. I should be use to it but I always walk away feeling defeated.

He’s short and heavy and super active. So it is what it is. I have a feeling I might hear it for E’s soon too.

We don’t go until the 17th. Right now our pedi only sees well visits in the office and all sick visits are outside in a tent (or at least they were). I should probably call to check now that the weather has turned.
