This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

Month/Cycle: 5
Timing: WTO
CD/DPO: 12/NA
Symptoms: None
RRCS: Not 100% sure I'm going to continue TTC. I love my family as it is...but SO really wants one more so it's a conversation I need to have with him...but as I'm not 100% decided I'll still play here.
GTKY: Do you have pets? Yep. A Holland lop named Maximus. The sweetest house bunny ever❤ If we don't continue TTC then I *might* give in and let my girls adopt a puppy in a couple of years...just waiting for our house to be done first.

sammysam we are very similar just DH is you - he's more than happy to not try ever again and I'm still wanting to try. So we're NTNP, for a month or two. Then we will probably call it. Also, holland lops are adorable ❤ ours is a lionhead

catlady22 Oooh I love lionheads! We had a sweet little neatherland dwarf too but we lost her last year:( It's so funny with TTC. When we started TTC our first I had to play the ultimatum card (we'd been together 14 years at that point) because SO liked our life the way it was. Once we had our first I thought we were OAD (I was happy with one) but shockingly SO wanted another (it took a few years for him to convince me). Now that we have 2 I can't believe he still wants more:/ I wish we were both on the same page. I don't want to disappoint him but the older DD2 gets the harder it is for me to picture us with three.

sammysam I get that. Everyday that our kids get older it is harder for DH to want to go back to the baby stage. When we originally got pregnant with #3 it was a surprise, so he was going to be ok with it. Then we lost it and I was distraught, so he agreed to try again. He legit thought he was going to lose me from the surgery for that one. So now he is pretty done, but it's hard for me to commit to being done.

catlady22 That makes total sense. I hemorrhaged with my first loss and almost bled out completely in front of my then 3 year old. I almost died and it scared SO so much that he was ready to stop TTC. But I wasn't. Our second loss was easier since we had a D&C as soon as it was confirmed that there was no heartbeat and then we got pregnant with our second immediately after that. Then we had a chemical in September that the doctor at first thought might be ectopic which also scared SO...but he doesn't feel done yet. We compromised on just dtd on peak day every cycle and that's it. If it happens it happens. If not then it doesn't. I'm focusing on getting my body back and trying not to let TTC take over my life...which it tends to do:/

sammysam I can't imagine bleeding out in front of a little one, I'm so sorry you went through that. I hope your plan works out in whatever way is best for your family. ❤

Month/Cycle: 11, I think? I’m losing track at this point.
Timing: NTNP this month & probably next month. But I should be in the WTO stage right now.
CD/DPO: CD 11
RRCS: we built a fort for my older kids yesterday, my oldest lost a tooth, and got baptized. It’s been a great weekend and NTNP had taken so much stress off.
GTKY: Do you have pets? Yes! I have 3 cats (Tonks, Dobby, & Ravenclaw) and a pittie (Chili Pepper)
And currently my little sister (she’s 17, large age gap. Fun fact, my youngest sister is 6... younger than DS1) is living with us and has two hamsters.

Month/Cycle: month 8
Timing: DTD on days 10-19 but I didn't use OPKs this month, so who knows
CD/DPO: 10dpo, I guess?
Symptoms: well i'm eating everything in sight, but that's election and stress related.
RRCS: We've started the RE game again. H got his semen test a few weeks ago, I should go in for a HSG within the next few months. Things are booked solid bc of Covid.
GTKY: Do you have pets? 2 neurotic black and white rescue dogs - a lab mix named Layla, and a spaniel mix named Ruby.

CD/DPO:CD28

RRCS: Just trying to lose some weight so that hopefully I start ovulating more consistently.

Month/Cycle: I’m gonna ignore most of the questions because I’m on the bench but wanted to jump in again.
Waiting for hcg levels to get under 5 and then Dr wants me to have a regular cycle before we start trying again. Levels were 400 last Wednesday. I’ll go weekly to get them checked now.
GTKY: Do you have pets? Yes. We have a Maltese/Yorkie named Hugo.

catlady22 I'm good. 4dpo today. We hit 2 good days so it's possible but I don't feel like this is our month. I had a talk with SO about stopping TTC. He said it was my call but then started talking about names...so I got on board for a few more months. I had originally agreed to try until my birthday and then reevaluate, so I'm going to try to keep my word and stick to that. So 3.5 more months. How are you feeling about your H maybe being closer to wanting to be done?

sammysam well hopefully you guys are in agreement that the 3mo plan works for you both. I'm pretty sad about DH being done, I'm definitely not. But I get his standpoint too. I don't feel like our conversations are completely over, so I'm just hanging around here until I know for sure we are done.

catlady22 Do you think he might change his mind once you're a little further out from the loss? Maybe with a little more time he might feel more comfortable TTC? With us age is a huge factor, which is why I'm ok with continuing to try a little longer. I'm already 41 (SO is 53...), so it's now or never for us (and our chances are already pretty low at this age). I don't want to wake up in a couple of years when it's already too late and say I wish we'd at least tried...this way we're at least giving it until I'm 42 before we shut it down.

sammysam I get that. At least with your plan you should have more peace of mind that you tried, either way. I'm similar in your thoughts of I just don't want to regret not trying again (which I know I will). I don't think time is going to change my H's mind because he always wanted to have his kids young.

I’m still in limbo, but by next Wednesday should have a better idea of what my body is doing ( I feel like I’m constantly saying this). I’m mentally exhausted.

I'm just still sitting around waiting for something/anything to happen. I was getting songs of ovulating late last week so hoping that is the case.
Eta. Signs... Not songs 🤦

whatsit thinking of you. Is there still a chance you won't have the d&c? Ya - still a chance. I had medical intervention on Monday to see if my body would do it on its own. Didn’t do much. But the Dr didn’t know if there just wasn’t a lot left, or my body is holding on. I’ll get hcg levels checked Monday and then results on Wednesday. If they haven’t gone down enough we’ll assume there’s still too much left and then we move on to D&C. So I wait.

I had my 2nd IUI on Wednesday, but I'm not feeling great about it. I had 3 mature follicles at my scan Monday, one so big they checked my scan from last month to make sure it wasn't a cyst. But my husband's numbers were really low, so I don't have much hope.
