A new month!
Nothing new for me. My coworker who is due the same day as me just started having to wear maternity pants and of course I’m overthinking that my waist hasn’t changed. I’m sure in a few weeks I’ll miss being normal sized.

alwayscheese, woohoo!! I have my first meeting with me MFM on friday and I am an anxious messssss. I just need it to be 7:30am friday please robotsvswrestlers,I am not in maternity pants yet either at about 12 1/2 weeks. It's fine, all bellies are different. I am resisting for as long as possible. At night my belly pokes out more. I actually ordered a ton to try and I am taking them all back but two. I have discovered I do NOT like the panels that go over the belly.

Scan with MFM went great this morning. She was super active and all was measuring well! They are very optimistic. That was the start of my scans every two weeks until the end. I have so so many doctors caring for me it is amazing. Between my RE, MFM and regular OB. My Dr today just kept saying that she loved my chart and no stone was left un-turned. They felt that they had the most accurate workup they could possibly have and we have set ourselves up for a good pregnancy.
It is such a departure from my last experiences.
We are going to go ahead and tell the kids this weekend. I am starting to show and it is likely time. With them experiencing late term loss with us last year, I know their hearts are going to worry (my kids are older - 8 and 12). My plan is to keep them informed about the care we are receiving and to let them know they can talk to me about their fears anytime. I think that is the best course of action. I am apprehensive but optimistic!

How did telling the kids go donnameagle? Had my first official visit today with the OB. 7 vials of blood later and I’m done. My veins suck, so the first nurse didn’t even try to stick me. Second nurse was successful. Got the NIPT, so I’m hoping to find out the sex in about a week!

And for DD she immedately settled into worrying so it made me second guess telling her. But at 14 weeks now I don't think I can keep it a secret all that much longer either way!
What service did you use? I had Natera and they say 7-10 days but really it took 2 weeks. Covid has things backed up. Just warning you!

That sounds wonderful! I can’t wait to tell my 5 year old girl. She will be so excited. Waiting as long as I can before I tell her. I got Natera. My coworker and I are due the same date and go to the same OB. She got hers in a week, so we shall see!!!!

I have been doing three "work outs" a week and walking about 3 miles every day with H. Quite a but less than I was doing before but the exhaustion is there still. Womp womp.

I dreamt last night that i went out and ran 5 miles. And my knees got sore lol. But it felt so good to run.
It's motivating me to actually go this afternoon.

My nausea is still varying day to day. Just enough to make me uncomfortable, but not enough to do anything. It’s annoying.
Still waiting on my NIPT results. Got emails from Natera today, so I’m hoping results will be coming soon. But with Thanksgiving I’m thinking it might be next week.
I need to start exercising. When my classes stopped in March, I really fell off the wagon. I know it would make me feel better, but I’m so damn tired that I don’t wanna.

That last sentence was truth for my whole first trimester. I had stopped running around the time of my chemical pregnancy but I knew i wanted to keep it up this pregnancy. I went and did my "corner and back" run that's 2.5 total and i was so slow but it felt good to have got out there and DONE something. I took it real easy cause i haven't been doing any exercises for my knees or feet that get sore, and i was fine but ya i could tell i need to get that going again too.

NIPT results show a normal girl!!!! I am so excited for my daughter. She will lose her mind when we tell her.
I’m also glad that I can start planning bedroom situations. We have a bedroom with an en suite and two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill. So now I know who will go in what room and can start figuring out furniture.
