Still on episode 9: she put poinsettias in the goldfish bowl! Hahahahahahaahahahahah. I am loving it, the flirty banner between the reporter and CJ. CJ is my favorite and it isn’t even close. Except for the episode where she's randomly against affirmative action because they needed a character to be against affirmative action I guess? But otherwise CJ and Danny forever.

But otherwise CJ and Danny forever. Oh yes! Because of her Dad, right? I forgot about that (I just binged the entire show in like, 3 weeks lol). Yes, I think that is the only episode where I strongly disagreed with her.

Yes, it was completely out of left field for her character. "My dad could've been a principal instead of a high school teacher but black women got in the way." Like wut. That's not even how that works.

I'm not a fan of Mathew Perry. Like I don't like him as an actor. I hope he finds his way to Mandyville He does....

Tossed Taye Diggs like a pack of potato chips!😅😅😅 I'm trying not to give things away for RajahMD It's all good. You're way ahead of me. I'll probably forget anything I read by then. And I'm pretty chill about spoilers. Except for when my husband spoiled Sherlock 2 for me, in the theater while watching the movie. I'll never let that go.

I knew her voice was familiar. Finally figured out why. Did y'all know that Mandy is played by the actress who voiced Nala in The Lion King? I'm aghast that you didn't reference The Cutting Edge here. TOE PICK!

Episode 9: I am DYING. Danny the reporter just gave her a live goldfish, because Josh told him she liked goldfish, meaning the crackers. I am dying. Keep an eye on Gail. Her bowl often is decorated with episode-themed accoutrements.

Everybody who hasn't seen The Cutting Edge needs to watch it as soon as you're done bingeing TWW.
Although I may have watched it enough times for all of us.

I still LOL every time I see or think of Ron Swanson as ardent defender of wildlife Yes! I always forget about him until I rewatch and then just giggle when I get to it! One of my favorite parts of rewatching is seeing so many actors from other shows in TWW. Right now the dude from Lost is making me want to watch that next. Also, I am mid season 6 in my current rewatch, and can anyone explain what happens in "No Exit" (Season 5, episode 20)? Like both what is revealed at the end and if it is ever revisited? Or does that plot line just get dropped randomly? I don't want to leave more details because I don't know how to spoiler, but maybe it stood out to me because seeing characters in surgical masks was not actually weird given current circumstances.

Keep in mind I have only seen the series once, but to my knowledge this doesn’t come up again 🤷🏼♀️ But yeah essentially it sounds like there was a specific chemical threat they were testing out and that was the end of it. It made for good drama and they drop far bigger storylines IMO. It def gets a little frustrating at times.

When we watched the show in real time, we called that, "NBC demands drama that will compete with Grey's Anatomy." Once Sorkin left there became an insistence on intense, compelling, single episode storylines prioritized over larger/sustained story arcs. In all our 21 year old wisdom, this deeply upset my college roommates and me.

I don't think I don't think I realized it so much the first time through. There's just a moment at the end where Bartlett and the FBI or Secret Service guy were talking and I thought they indicated that it was a more direct threat. But I also could have misunderstood a lot. I was still on my post op meds.

On NPR tonight was a segment on the potential for Biden to use the Antiquities Act to restore Bears Ears and Grand Staircase National Monuments in Utah, and I had a giggle remembering all of Bartlett's nerdiness of the national parks. I love all his useless trivia knowledge.

And thus resumes my WW binge. Up next is Season 1 Episode 14.
I'm hanging out in some comfy leggings and one of my Biden shirts (the one that says Tweet Less, Listen More). Feels appropriate for the subject content.

I'm loving the storyline involving the dead campaign manager. Her attitude is fantastic, and I love how she gives Josh shit. About died when she showed up while Josh was wearing the fisherman's outfit. Too funny.
Meanwhile, the death penalty convo is reaffirming my anti-DP stance. I think I might even be convincing MH to reconsider his stance.

Oh! MH is off all this week and next. I was worried he would want the TV some and block my bingeing.
Nope! Turns out he's a big fan of TWW. He walked in after dropping N off at daycare mid-episode, got kinda excited, and say right down to watch with me. He even reminded me that it's on Netflix and I need to watch it ASAP since we're cancelling.
He also seemed stunned that I'd never seen it. Ironic considering I've always been obsessed with politics and he's been the ambivalent one.
