Age - 3.5 months Updates - I think we're entering/in a growth spurt. Little guy is nursing like a newborn these last few days. He's already 14lbs though so if he doesn't slow down he'll be grown out of his infant carseat by Christmas. I've been doing little bits of exercise lately. I try to do some push ups and other floor stuff for a few minutes while he does tummy time, and getting out for baby-wearing-walks most nice days. I'm determined to finally do something about this weight. Milestones - Rolled belly to back this morning. Pic -

Age - 3.5 months. I've given up on tracking weeks at this point. Updates - He's such a happy little person (unless he's hungry). He's getting better at riding in the stroller for longer stretches. His sleep is pretty good and I'm already getting nervous about being done with the SNOO in a few months because I'm spoiled by how well he sleeps. Milestones - He fell asleep all by himself playing on the floor this weekend. It's the first time I've seen him do that. Pic -

Age- 5 months this week!
Updates - H got his helmet last week. He's been doing so well with it, he acts like it's no big deal. The first day with sleeping was a little rough but not too bad and he's adjusted. I feel badly for him because I can't imagine that sleeping in a helmet is comfortable but the orthotist said it's not painful and the babies are fine, so I guess it's ok. My other twin, G, has been struggling with naps lately which is frustrating because they have been perfect sleepers lol. It's not terrible, but just wakes up earlier than the other one so he will only sleep more if you rock with him after he wakes up. We'll see how long that plays out. I can't wait til they are on just the 2 nap schedule which I know doesn't happen for a few more months.
Milestones - They can use the activity jumper now, which is nice! G is getting super close to being able to sit unassisted. Getting almost 7 oz per bottle now which seems like so much!
No pic today because I am too lazy to upload right now lol.

Age- 3.5 months Updates - C is doing a little better since I’ve given up dairy and soy. She still spits up but it is manageable. I’ve been struggling since going back to work. She’s home with DH for now and he’s great with her but I just have so much anxiety when I’m away from the kids. My stomach is in knots all day until I get home. Milestones - She loves to play with and chew on her toys. She also eats her fists constantly and usually ends up gagging herself. Pic -

Age- 12 weeks!
Updates - Nothing too exciting. I had my first weekend back to work, which means I had to pump and I hate it. It’s a necessary evil and I’m glad I only have to do it every other weekend. V was very happy to see me after I got home both days. V is getting much more active when she’s laying on her piano mat. She bats at the toys and kicks her legs the whole time. She loves smiling and chatting with me. DD1 has successfully gotten her to nap in the swing a couple times so my work here is done

I’m sorry your anxiety is so bad right now. Is there a chance you could take a little longer off of work?

Speaking of losing weight, do any of you have experience with the FASTer way to fat loss? I’m hearing a lot about it and I’m interested. One of the PAs I used to work with is a coach and has actually lost a lot of weight doing the program which was what originally piqued my interest. If you don’t know, the program uses intermittent fasting, carb cycling and macro counting.
Also, I need to do approx 1000 push ups a day because carrying the car seat for more than like 20 seconds is a real struggle.

Age - 4 months today! Updates - he’s a great little guy. I wish we had a better nap schedule, but oh well. He sleeps through the night more often than not. He has a bit of a flat spot on the back of his head, but I expect it to round out as he spends less time on his back. We don’t have to worry much about him hating the car anymore, since his daycare is a 3-minute walk away. As for me, I ran a 5k distance today in the fastest time I have since baby - which I was pretty excited about until I realized I ran a marathon at that same speed pre-kids Milestones - Ben is a rolling machine - he’s been rolling belly to back for a long time, but recently started going back to belly. This morning he worked on it for awhile and when he finally got his arm out from under him, all 3 big kids cheered His 4-month appt isn’t for another 2 weeks.

txaggie08 about half with 1-3 kids in a jogging stroller and about half while they’re in daycare if I can fit it in during a workday. I’m usually limited to about 30 min or so at a time, but i figure it’s better than nothing!

Age- almost 5 months
Updates - my mom visited for almost a month and it was so wonderful to have her. We’re all sad she’s gone, especially not knowing when we’ll get to see her next. I’ve made great strides with T’s sleep habits. I’ve been really conscious to not nurse him at nap time and putting him down awake. He has finally learned some self soothing skills so it’s been easier getting him down. He still doesn’t sleep in long stretches though. Naps are vary from 45 min to, occasionally, 1hr 30 min. And nighttime sleep ranges from 5-3 hour stretches. I was hoping by now he would consistently get a good first stretch, but we’re not there yet. Big kids started school today and T and I were at a loss what to do by ourselves! I’m so excited to get some stuff done now.
Milestones - Rolling onto his belly without issue, but isn’t consistent going belly to back, so he cries he he rolls into his belly at night.

hangry that’s funny that he has an easier time going back to belly instead of vice versa - it’s always been easier for my kids to go the other way (maybe because they hate being on their belly)? Ben has been rolling belly to back since 3 weeks but just recently started going back to belly. I’m waiting for him to do it both ways easily before sleep training/CIO.

Since your babe is only a week or two behind my babies, I just wanted to reassure/remind you that 45 min-1hr naps are totally normal at this age. I'm looking forward to when they get back to 1.5-2 hrs when the naps get consolidated to twice a day.

I mean I’m working now so for the most part it’s not affecting me but on the weekends I miss those 2-2.5 hour chunks of time from a month or two ago lol. I like the 2 naps. And then a year from now, the nice long one nap a day.
