I had 3 cups of black coffee this morning so I've switched to water.
It's going to be a good week. I have a big project to finish tomorrow and then the rest of the week should just be catch up.

A big mug of dark roast with maple syrup for me.
We've officially reached the age of "busy family" ... School work, soccer practices, my own client load in the afternoons/evenings...
I'm trying to figure out what dress to wear to my BIL's wedding. It's harder than I thought 😞
BUT, the good news is that we can see the mountains again!

Coffee with milk and sugar.
R’s in school today. E and A have a classroom “sneak peek” for an hour this morning. Our countertops are going in at the new house today, appliances delivered tomorrow, then plumber and electrician. We’re set to close next Tuesday!!!! Just in time because last night, A asked if we could go back to the old house because she’s done sleeping over at Nana’s.

I ditched home chaos and am holed up in my parents extra bedroom office for the day to finish some reports that have deadlines (like tomorrow). Good luck BM.
M goes in person tomorrow, as does P. So that's TWO uninterrupted work days. Lots of our friends are starting remote today - or in the other cohort. It feels normal but not. I dunno.
I'm still drinking much coffee though.

I had coffee with Bailey’s this morning, just because. I’m feeling fine today so maybe yesterday was just allergies? I called in sick for my shift today, just to be safe.
We caught a tree frog yesterday after looking all summer so we have to go get some supplies for our new pet today 🙄

It's hard to get up and going on Monday after vacation but we managed. Got the kids to daycare and had my 1st tri US. Wiggly little thing!
Now I'm trying to catch up on work and will be making my one caffeinated beverage here shortly cause I am TIRED.

I'm on my third cup of black coffee. Not my favorite. We are back home this week and I have many phone calls and to-do lists to make. I'm really wishing that my kids were both in actual school this week, I've been fighting with J all morning.

Honey oatmeal Latte. They finally okayed us to bring back the 3rd person in our payroll dept who has been laid off since April and oh man is it a relief to know I'm not going to be slammed with work like I have been since everything went back up and running. She started back today. Of course now i get to go through the backlog of all the filing and other things I put off doing for the past few months.

Coffee with half and half and vanilla stevia this morning. Work hit the ground running and I started late with distance learning, so I’m feeling behind. So obviously I’m wasting time on HIH.
ETA: M was watching a video and I was restarting my work computer while I posted, so maybe not too terrible.

Done with my coffee. I had a 6:30 meeting and now I need to restructure a group before the end of the day.....
I need to run and pick up girl scout stuff, change sheets, and set up a well visit for me and then one for F.

I have made a ton of phone calls this morning and gotten all of our delayed appointments scheduled— dentist, doctor, dermatology, and so on.. I hate dealing with those calls so much, I’m glad I’m mostly done.

I drank a chai tea latte k-cup this morning and will have some store brand drip coffee with the Cold Stone Sweet Creamer later.
Good: It's birthday week in the DGM house! My babies will be 3 and 6. Also, I was invited to an IRL playdate for Thursday and an outdoor women's/no kids event at church for Saturday. I miss female interaction so much.
Not so good: PMS.

Good this week: I have a three day week because we're doing our DE beach house trip[ this weekend! I took Thurs off to pack and relax and then Friday morning we drive down. And Friday I'm going to see my hometown BFF for the first time in about a year, and meet her fiancee for the first time (they're staying at the beach house with us). She just proposed to her girlfriend a week ago.
