Did we have a coffee thread yesterday?
I’m so thrown off.

I have drip coffee with half and half and vanilla stevia. I worked yesterday and it was nuts, so hoping for a chill rest of the work week. I took off Friday, so yay short week. I need to clean around the house bc the cleaners come Thursday. I’m excited about that since we are going to visit my in-laws at their lake house for the weekend Friday, so hopefully we will come home to a nice clean house.

I’ve had my 2 cups, but I can already foresee another in my future. Breakfast was 1/2 a bagel with cream cheese. I’m going to try to log my meals this week.
My happy note of the week is that my hair is finally getting a little longer. I think by the end of the year I will be able to get it cut into a bob-ish style and hopefully feel more comfortable/confident again.

I’m on my second cup with almond milk creamer.
I need help moving on to step 2 if drinking water at my house.
My current working strategy is using the RO water to fill my countertop ice maker. Then using RO ice and RO water and it’s a success so far.
But now mh wants to unplug my ice maker bc it takes too much energy. He replaced the water filter in the fridge today and wants me to use refrigerator ice. Help me make this ok.

I'm having an instant mocha cappuccino at my parents' then will get an iced coffee at Panera when we have a socially distanced visit with my mother in law. It's been great for the kids to see their grandparents again, but I'm mentally more than ready to go home tonight.

Our icemaker doesn't work at all so we use the old school ice trays in the freezer. Could you use the RO water in ice trays?

But it got to be too much, bc our freezer is very small so I could only do 1 tray at a time and it was never frozen when I needed it. It may be what I do for right now though so I can take a little longer to transition. Thank you.

Bought some Intelligentsia Coffee Black cat espresso roast from the grocery store when I ran out of my good stuff and it's pretty good. Oat milk latte with a little sugar because I ran out of honey. Need to hit the grocery store today on my lunch.

I feel like he should just let that go.

I finished a gigantic yeti of coffee in the car. We are almost halfway to the beach.
So MH put his resignation in a couple weeks ago. His current job freaked out and this past Friday offered him a significant incentive in order to stay. We don't *want* to stay but the thought of passing up a title and $ seems crazy. But it also seems crazy to stay in our area any longer because we both know we aren't happy, and delaying the inevitable is maybe not the best idea. We have been discussing all weekend and trying to figure out what we should do. It's all very stressful. Adulting is hard.

I'm drinking coffee. And then more.
Busy but too short of a work week.
One more week until school starts.
Sending good thoughts up for my brother who is making a competitive offer on a v v expensive house bc they have to be out of their apt soon and its time. I'd be so excited if they get it cuz its big enough for us to come visit and stay (some day when we can do that). I don't know how they've survived this pandemic in their apartment so far.

I had a bunch of black coffee this morning. I'm at work flying through emails and doing some video editing. I have an afternoon full of zoom meetings.

Happy to mail you a crisp jackson monthly if it helps your husband slow his roll.

Finger Lakes blend this morning with milk and sugar.
Met a new dog trainer last night and will be starting more training to work on Francis’ confidence building. He’s been kinda skiddish and freaks out when he sees other dogs while on walks since we moved. The trainer was so great and even after a quick evaluation and lesson last night, I know he’s going to be amazing in a few weeks.
Took the girls out for lunch, had a car picnic then visited a new playground. I even made a new friend! She has an 8yo girl and twin girls that just turned 4 a few weeks before E and A. I feel like such a nerd but I’m so excited to have new friends in our new city. We exchanged numbers and will meet up for play dates.

Just drip coffee with creamer this morning, but I'm going to make myself a senseo coffee when I get home. W was not wanting to sleep anywhere other than on me, and nurse constantly, so I'm tired. She's apparently sleeping now, but I had to come get my staples out. I so need some baked goods today lol. Or maybe ice cream 😂

milano that’s awesome they offered him more but maybe see if the new job would match it? I’m sorry this makes the decision tougher.

Went to grocery store, got some Silk almond/oat milk iced mocha, it's quite tasty. Hopefully Nugget will eat one of the multiple things I got her to eat for lunch at pre-k tomorrow. The school is dairy kosher, so no meat and no peanut butter, and finding protein for her is a challenge (especially now she's decided string cheese is no good anymore). Got some cottage cheese, yogurt, and going to boil some eggs and hope for the best.

All in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ www.amazon.com/Kotobuki-Plastic-Mold-Rabbit-Bear/dp/B002TZ04J6Edit they also come in Star Wars. If you’re into that.

I had a cold cup of coffee this morning and my mom brought donuts for our first day not back to school. I took the kids out to the park and lost my shit more than once. I’m feeling very isolated lately, especially now that summer is over. I might make a cup of tea soon.

I’m sorry you’re feeling that way, snowmoon. I have wanted to run away from my family a not insignificant amount of times the last few days. Always here if you need a shoulder to bitch on.

My thing would be, does this money plus title put you in a better position to move to your dream location in the future? Like if you bank the salary difference for a set amount of time, one or two years, will you have a down payment on a significantly better place? Or more locations to choose from? Would the title put him in a better position in the job market? If it’s more of an ego stroke than a life changer, I’d stick to your plan. If it’s gonna set you up for the future, it might be worth waiting a bit.

My dad had M ride in the front seat of his (4 door plenty large) car today. Even though "I told him this wasn't a good idea" according to M. Livid is an understatement. geesh.
And i dont mean down the block for fun - I mean to go do errands.

Just got word that we should be closing on the new house on the 21st...exactly 1 month later than planned. There have been lots of positives to being delayed, but it's still a bummer to have to wait 2 more weeks and have the girls start school still in a chaotic/no routine lifestyle at the in-laws.

If this isn't your dream location, consider your options. If you stay, make sure to look at his check and make sure they calculated the pay raise correct.
