I haven't seen the documentary but Andy Mulvihill wrote a book that came out earlier this summer about the park. It's a good read. Adding this to my to-read list. Thanks!

Okay, that was wild. I was born in 1980 and knew no one who went to Action Park despite being in South Jersey. My parents would have said hard no to that place, though. 🤣 It was an odd mix of nostalgia for my childhood, NJ and sheer terror. I do wish they had laid out reported injuries at other parks per day with Action Park. Also, what kind of staff were at other parks during this time. I would just like some compare/contrast with other contemporary amusement parks. That woman in the blue/white striped shirt was ..off. I laughed out loud at the clips of “if you worked in the race section, you didn’t know anyone or were lame” and they cut to her saying “I was in speed boats!” Lol I remember laughing at that part too. She was definitely nutty.
