Thanks! Still in prison, contractions every 2 minutes but I think there's still a bit of waiting in our future.
ETA: That was supposed to say on pitocin but it's funny so I'm leaving it.

I needed to wash all of my bras this morning because I am always so sweaty that they get gross after 1 wear, and of course I am leaking colostrum all over my dress right now while I sit here braless ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ

I'm trying to get a list of formulated questions together for the OB on Friday but every time I try, it's just vague ideas or I blank.

H: have you packed your hospital bags yet? Me: mentally yes, physically no ๐คทโโ๏ธ I started mine because it was something constructive to do. Plus I made a โlast minuteโ list for DH in case I need his help because if I do not specifically indicate what I need, he will pack the exact opposite of what I need him to bring. Like I literally had to write โHairbrush- the teal and black one in the basket on the sink in the master bathโ ๐

So I think this is the beginning of the high risk, end of pregnancy rollercoaster for me. High blood pressure, headache, called the OB office, who sent me to the ER since I just moved and I'm not yet registered at the hospital labor and delivery. Woooo. Watch my blood pressure be fine and I'm just crazy and they send me home

The car seat is installed. I know where the bag I want is located which is half the battle. It will probably just be a lot of laundry. I guess the good thing about no visitors/leaving early is that I will probably leave a lot at home.

Checking into the hospital Thursday morning at 10! My anxious/nervousness is really starting to kick in. Car seat was installed in our cars yesterday, and one final load of his laundry to do tomorrow.

Anybody take and actually use a boppy pillow in the hospital? I can't remember what I did 5 years ago lol. Just wondering if I need it.
On another note, my O15'er will be staying with my parents while we're in the hospital and they'll pick him up tomorrow. So tonight was our last night to put him to bed as an only child. I cried.

Planning on bringing my whole house this time ๐ I won't be able to leave so I'm bringing way more than I think I'll need. Baby girl has her own bag. With DS2 and 3 , I just put their stuff in my bag. But I'm bringing more this time just in case.
My blood pressure went high today and I went to L&D triage and got officially diagnosed with gestational hypertension. My first OB appointment is still Friday. I'll be delivering at 37 weeks or sooner. So ready and excited to meet my girl even though I'm sure this high BP end of pregnancy rollercoaster won't be fun. This is my last baby and going through today and having all the memories brought back of the last two times made me realize I am definitely done. Also some of the reason I was feeling "maybe not done" was because I wish she could have a sister, but I don't even have a great relationship with my own sister, neither does my mom, and my grandma didn't have a sister either. And also there's no guarantee we would have another girl anyways. So feeling confident in my "doneness" (at least for today)

The hospital I'm at had nursing pillows here to use. They're not boppy's but they do the job. ETA: Sorry about getting emotional with your little one! It's tough to think of upsetting their whole world, but in the end you are giving him the awesome gift of a sibling! Plus if you had a third I had none of those feelings time around.๐

I cried when I left my first with his grandparents to have #2, and then again my first and second. I think it's normal to feel emotional for our children and them no longer being the "baby", my current youngest will only be 14 months old when DD will arrive, and while I'm so excited and ready for her, I'm also sad because he is still a really babyish 13 almost 14 month old. DS2 was way more toddler at this time and so that made it easier. DS3 still isn't walking yet, just now taking steps. I hope the transition will be easy on us.

How are you feeling this morning fem ? I am doing pretty well, about to attempt a shower. She gave us one good almost 5 hour stretch overnight so that helped. We should get to go home tomorrow morning.

Growth ultrasound today. T-3 weeks to induction and we are already roughly 7# 7oz and 99% belly, 75% head. Guess I can skip newborn clothes/diapers.

My appointment didn't go great. I'm so frustrated. This doctor is not up to date on ACOG guidelines. I'm not seeing her again but damn, I hope someone else is better.

That is really frustrating that after all the work you had to do to get a doctor and they end up sucking. Is it a practice where you rotate doctors? That's how my practice I went to with my girls was and the super old PA who did intake appointments always had outdated information and I always just ignored her. Hopefully you see someone more competent next time.
