I really had no motivation to workout this morning, but got up and did a half hour of yoga (Anna's 90s Flow), since I realized I didn't have another good chance to workout today. Happy to have had it done.

Someone posted on the town's facebook page about mountain lion sightings - now I am nervous to go running after dark. I have my big dumb dog and a headlamp...but I look an awful lot like prey. I'm going to use the reimbursement from my Dependency Account to purchase the treadmill sooner rather than later.
B: Coffee with coconut milk, chipotle black bean patty, fried egg, salsa L: Big salad with salmon and ranch dressing S: Plantain chips and salsa D: Grilled chicken and cauliflower

Oh hi. We are the same person. I just made my body work way too hard up until delivery. Dropping miles and pace during third trimester was a difficult physical and mental struggle. When are due? Congratulations! Thank you! I'm due 11/29. I had to opt out of my running club's September miles challenge, because I know I'll see everyone else's numbers and push myself. Do you think your activities made a difference with labor? I wasn't nearly this active when I had DS, so I'm curious to see what happens. My body is busted and TERRIBLE at birth, so no, lol. I ran through all three pregnancies and had three drawn out, long, pretty awful births now. I'm fairly certain it's a me problem though.

I'm doing somewhere between a "moderate" and "painful" deficit (subjective, of course) a couple of days a week, and I had forgotten how much I hate those. Grumble.

Hello! Core conditioning done. I’ve come a long way with core strength but it’s still very hard for me. DD is back and school and H is prepping to get back to work as well, so it’s just me, DS, and the dog at home during the week. I may take a walk with them later as the weather is perfect outside.
Macros look good for the day, should have room for a treat tonight, too. Yay!

Here’s a stupid NSV for you all.
I’m pretty private about my fitness journey IRL. I rarely tell people I work out because... I don’t know. I’ve been brainwashed by diet culture for years and think people won’t believe me because I’m not thin? I had to do an intro post for one of my classes, folks I don’t know and am going to spend the next 4 years with, and I said my favorite hobby is exercising. Because It is and I enjoy it, damn it! Suck it diet culture.

stupidsexyflanders, i love that! Isn't it so crazy how those ideas stick around forever. I always say when convos like that come up oh I'm not athletic LOL. then DH looked at me and he's like how many hours a week does one have to bike to "be athletic?" Also it's so interesting that we have these ideas about what runners or yogis or cyclists "look like" but when you actually show up to a race/meet they look like everyone.

I had a healthy breakfast (greek yogurt) and lunch (rotisserie chicken with some raw carrots/grape tomatoes/cucumber slices).
Then decided I was really craving a s'more. So I made one (with a Reese's thin instead of a Hershey bar) on my stove.
MH just laughed at me. But ate the one I made for him.

I did a Tunde low impact ride and I really enjoyed it. I need to reign in my after dinner dessert though. Ugh.

I’m not! I didn’t even know that was a thing! How do I do it? I’m going to be riding in the late afternoons mostly. Not my favorite but it’s what works best with virtual schooling! Cody has a 7am ride tomorrow and I’m really going to try and make it but, woof, that’s early for me! lol coffeeino, our hashtag is #HIHCrew and you can add it to your profile via the Peloton app. Then when you're in a class you can filter the attendees by hashtags or those you follow, etc. I'll also add you to our PM so you can see our usernames and friend us Adding it to my profile! I replied in the message. Thank you!!!

I did the 30 min Pop ride of Cody’s from yesterday. It was too busy at work to squeeze any in during the day and I have my infusion pretty soon, so that is all I will get in for today.

Today I did a 20 minute 2010’s run with Matty and a 20 minute beginner lower body workout. Food is planned out and easy so nutrition should be good today.

HIIT and core today. If anyone needs a killer ab workout Madeline Moves is the way to go. Those regularly make me regret everything. In the best way, of course. I’m laying on the floor because I’m way too gross to go near the furniture and too tired to shower yet. I did the 30 minute version and it was more than enough. I haven’t done her workouts in a few weeks and my core is so weak.

Just the regular enjoyable soreness.

Sooo husband was being a petty jerk about the exercise and it turned into a whole other argument but it’s back to not being a problem. So yay? Thanks everyone for commiserating and sharing, why is it such a struggle? So frustrating.
I did a HIIT workout and I’m going for a short run this evening since he’s doing bedtime tonight. And I also signed up for Nooms free trial to see if that will stick, I’m not too sure it will work since I know already what I need to do, I’m lacking on the execution.

Day 1 of 10 rounds. It was interesting. My core hurts that is for sure. I think I will do the sample workout and some of the basics the next couple days and start fresh Monday. I need practice I am not coordinated i'd love your feedback as you go through this program - when i restart my BOD in the late fall/winter/probably i'd probably start here. especially if my H would do it too. but he is.... decidedly much more coordinated than i am and i need to know how much he'd regret marrying me ;-) I want to try this one out later this fall too! I think I’m going to take a BOD break for a bit after this week, maybe start back in November or so I did something to my back so today was a just a 2mi walk with my sister while our 4yos rode bike, followed by icing my back and trying not to aggravate it. Chicken and veggies on the grill tonight, and we went to the farmers market today so I’ve been snacking on cantaloupe.

I did a 20 minute yoga flow with Chelsea Jackson Roberts, 20 minute upper body with Andy and 15 minute core with Matty after work. Lots of steps even though it was rainy off and on and food was good.

Well I hope I don't need my arms tomorrow. Oof. I was absolutely shaking at the end of my last couple sets because I refused to go down in weight again.

I did a 45 minute power zone with Denis this afternoon, and then a 10 minute hips yoga, as he instructed us to do at the end of the ride. He is such a dork OMG.
Meanwhile my 11yo did a 3 hour mountain bike ride and then skateboarded for 2 hours. And he's like, not even tired. Youth is truly wasted on the young, y'all.

Good morning! 1st day with students this morning, so I wanted to get the day started off on the right foot so I got a three mile run in. It was so humid and it felt a little miserable, but I got it done and I feel good now! I’ll be doing my 30 minutes of strength on my lunch break. It’s legs and flutes today. Hope the first day back went well!

I got in a ton of steps running around school getting prepped today and did about 10 minutes of dedicated walking at lunch today before the rain cut it short. I did 25 minutes of Peloton rides once I got home and my legs are burning. So much more lower body the past two days.
The scale is SO CLOSE to the next decade. I think I'll get there tomorrow morning, but I'm trying not to bank on it because I've thought the same thing for a week and it still won't cross that threshhold. I know it doesn't REALLY matter, but after 3 months in this decade, I'm ready for some new numbers!
