I did a 20 minute yoga video and ran four miles, so a solid day, activity wise. I also ordered yoga blocks, so I’m excited to get those!

Active recovery day for me.
I did RK’s 20 min 80s Fun Walk (from 3/9/20). It was for the tread but I did it outside. I also did Aditi’s 20 min Slow Flow Yoga (from 9/17/20).

Just finished a 30 minute run with Adrian. I just want to stare at his arms the whole time lol.
I was struggling to hear him over the music this class so that made it a bit of a struggle. On my computer there’s a spot to make the instructor louder than the music but I couldn’t figure out how to do that on the iPad.

He said he was a sprinter and only starting lifting later in life. I was shocked by that because he is ripped!

Today was a busy Monday, so I only got a 20 minute Tunde ride in before picking up the kids. I’ll take that as a victory though, because I really didn’t want to do it. Food was good and I tracked it all.
B- vanilla Greek yogurt; strawberries; premier protein shake L- simple salad w/ lettuce, cucumber, red onion, deli turkey, balsamic dressing; cottage cheese D- leftover Indian food- ground chicken w/ veggies

I tried the 10 minute intro to barre with Hannah, thatgolfb. I don't know how good a judge I am because I've never done barre before, but it made my butt burn so....good? I also did Cody's 30 minute intervals and arms from yesterday or the day before, the one where he throws like insane crazy intervals that are all over the place at you for the last 6 minutes....whew. But fun!

Well I don't know if it was the lunges or jumping off swings or just all around shitty day, but my leg didn't want to let me squat tonight, so that was fun.

MH came with me today, we went 2 miles, I upped my run to 1.75 mile straight. I did a long “deep stretch” yoga last night, I need to do some more tonight.

I did not get the all clear to work out from my doctor. She said my lungs do sound better but the dang imagine place hadn’t sent my X-rays over yet so we’re waiting on that. Plus she said “I still think getting plenty of rest is good for now”. I’m itching to do something super active. Well my mind is. My body is tired at the end of the day. I don’t even know how to balance that..

Also, I unfollowed my "friend" that sent me those shitass texts last week about run times. SURPRISE She is now training to run a half marathon when I am. I was in my feels over it, which is stupid. Anyone can run a half whenever they want. But she legit has texted me multiple times that she could never, and what a great goal it is for me, etc. So I'm annoyed that I am working up to run one on my 35th bday and now she is too and will for sure highlight her better time. Anyway, I don't get a lot out of my friendship with her. I unfollowed and will continue to kick ass for myself. Ugh I’m sorry, but good for you!

daisyduck , I need to know about these taco cupcakes. In a (greased) cupcake pan, layer: Wonton Wrapper Taco meat of choice (usually we add onion to ground beef), and seasoned as desired Beans Cheese Repeat layers. Bake at 350 for ~15-20 minutes, until the edges of the wonton wrappers are brown and the cheese is bubbling. Top with lettuce, sour cream, guac, whatever. Oh I love this. Maybe I’ll make these later this week!

I got out for a walk between dismissal and an after school meeting today, but that was the extent of exercise. Mondays are hard anyway because the boys just want me to sit and snuggle them when we get home which is what I did today. Hoping to try a boot camp or at least get a ride in tomorrow afternoon during my 2 yo’s speech session.
Food was good until H made cookies and I ate two. Scale is fine but I’ve been so bloated and I feel huge. My body has been a mess since school started and I’m ready for it to sort itself out again.

Oh I definitely wasn’t saying they don’t, I’m sorry if my post wasn’t clear! He just said that he personally didn’t lift until he was older and it surprised me, since he’s now a peloton strength instructor.

T25 Pyramid yesterday. Weekend was fabulous buy not in any way, shape or form good on the health and fitness front. 4 wine lunches/ wine tastings and a BBQ class with lots of eating and drinking in-between. I was down .5 lbs this week for WW so I'm going to keep tracking and meal prepping and try to stay on track as much as possible. Don't have many events coming up so that makes it easier.
Going to start The Prep next week now that my ShaunT program is over.

Looks like Rebecca is doing a 45 minute strength class next week. Nice! That may kill me. Peloton is really stepping it up. Best 12.99 a month I spend. Agreed.

I ended up taking yesterday as a rest day. And had some pretty good pizza!
This morning I completed the 20 min walk+run with Robin from yesterday. It seems too easy for me, it was fun so if i do it again I will need to push myself harder. I am sore for the first time in a long time from the weekend boot camps. so i am going to do another boot camp tonight. lol
Food B: Protein shake S: yogurt L: deli sub, grapes, string cheese D: Creamy chicken orzo

Well today we are getting tons of rain from Tropical Storm Beta so all students are on-line today. I had exercise plans today but instead I think the only thing I will be exercising today is my patience!
On another note this has been the most ridiculous hurricane season ever. It can hurry up and end.

Remote schooling is crushing me. DS's behavior is the worst it has ever been. I skipped my workout today and said some very unkind things to myself in the mirror this morning. I'm just....yeah.

A kick in the ass brought to you with love .

Y'all know me, I'm always curious how others do things vs how I do them.
So let's say you're following a program like I'm following P90X right now. If you miss a day, do you repeat the whole week the following week, or just call it a missed day in the schedule?

Good morning ladies. I did a random mix of Peloton rides this morning: 5min warm up, 30min yacht rock ride, 10min low intensity. They were all Jenn Sherman and I actually liked them all. I plan to do a lunchtime walk on the treadmill today too because it is a busy day and I need to keep my energy up.
In non-workout news, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with life at the moment. DS transitions to hybrid model learning next week and I haven't taken the time to closely read the one million emails from the school district yet. I am also a little behind in my own grad classes and I need to work on a group case study that is due this weekend. And lastly I have several evening meetings this week and that just always throws off my schedule. Oh, and work is also a little nuts. I know I need to buckle down and really sort out my schedule and I'll feel so much better about things. So that's on the to-do list today.

If you miss a day, do you repeat the whole week the following week, or just call it a missed day in the schedule? I'd just pick up where I left off (so do the workout tomorrow, for example) and keep it pushing. I would definitely not repeat the entire week.
