How is it September? I’ve lost all sense of time.
I’ve been pretty good about Peloton rides lately, but I want to make more time for strength work and walking outdoors.
Nutrition is pretty hit or miss these days. There’s definitely some stress eating going on. I want to try and cut back on snacks. These jeans are a little too snug 😂

I really like Aditi and Chelsea Jackson Roberts. Kristin seems to have the most classes, and I like Ross when I need a push. My 6 year old liked the family yoga, too. My four year old has started asking for Cosmic Kids — “yoga with Jamie” — a few times a week so I’m going to check out the family yoga for sure. Thanks again!! Both my kids liked the peloton family yoga better than cosmic kids

Hi ladies! I haven't been checking in too much because 2020 sucks and the internet is depressing. But I want to do better about checking in here this month since you all are always such a support and inspiration.
One good thing to come from this year is that I've lost about 30 pounds since March. The initial amount I lost was likely due to cutting out my daily Starbucks and not dining out multiple times a week. The last few months I've also started tracking my calories pretty consistently as well as either running or biking regularly. It's been slow and steady and hasn't felt restrictive at all. It's ironic because in the past I've done super strict diets and haven't lasted long. This time I don't feel like I'm even dieting, just putting more thought into how I balance out my food if that makes sense.
My current goals are to lose about 10 pounds before Thanksgiving, which will put me at my goal weight. But honestly I'm more looking to be healthy and fit versus a specific number. Then I'll take the holiday season off from tracking and try to maintain but still indulge a bit.
My goals for September are to run 40 miles, do 15 rides on the bike, and strength train three to four times a week. I'm going to try increasing my calories a bit as well because I want to make sure I'm eating enough now that my activity levels have increased.

CD1 hit me like a truck today but I still moved and I'm glad I did. Big thanks to the Motrin and rare afternoon Diet Coke. 20 minute pop ride with Ben 20 minute HIIT ride with Ben

Hi! I kind of fell behind on posting last month.
August goals: -1800 exercise minutes. Done! Hit almost 2000. -hit 60 lbs lost. Don’t think I did it. It would have been 9 lbs down for the month. was about 3 lbs away at the doctor last week but I haven’t been weighing myself.
September goals: -track macros with 90% accuracy -survive starting school again -add in some yoga or meditation during the week -don’t weigh myself

Did the 30 minute Cody ride tonight. Trying to get to 75 rides by Saturday- I’m at 69 now. I’m heading to my parents house on Sunday to have some help from my parents while my DH is away for a work trip. I’m going to miss my bike! I’m going to try and fit in yoga and/or meditation every day. I want to give strength training on the app a try too. I miss my group classes at the gym!!!!
Eating has been awful. So that’s my goal for September. I know being away from home will make it hard but I just need to cut all the extra junk calories. It’s out of control. And start getting in more water!

Question for Peloton folks. I have the app which I use on my phone. But if I wanted to do yoga is there a way to get it to stream on my TV? Like do they have a TV app or something? I believe the newer apple tv models have an app, i have an older model so I just stream from my phone through our apple tv. We have a samsung tv and I haven't seen an app for it on there.

This evening I did a 20 minute full body strength with Rebecca Kennedy and then 15 minute chest and arms with Chase Tucker. Both were great and I’m going to be feeling them. DD1 used the 2 lb weights to do the 20 minute workout with me. 😊
Having a chocolate protein shake with blended frozen cherries and honestly it feels decadent. I should do this for dessert more often.

If you have a Fire stick or Fire Tv, there is an app! It is a little spotty at times, but it’s been a lot better recently.

Just got done with a 20 minute beginner ride with Cody. Earlier today I did an upper body strength and a 30 minute run with Adrian. I’m loving his runs lately.

Yes they have an Apple TV app, and you can also stream from your phone to your TV using AirPlay. But that's all Apple ecosystem, I can't speak to anything else.

I usually stick to my BMB (and TTC before that), but I could really use the motivation...Hope it's ok if I join in! I just hit 3rd trimester, and my miles/endurance are steadily decreasing. My goals are to continue regularly working out and to stop paying attention to miles/pace (easier said than done!). I ran a virtual half last month- PR for slowest ever 😂, but it felt so great.
Run 3x/week Walk 7x/week Prenatal barre 2x/week Stick with meal planning

I use my iPad and stream to the tv. The TV has to be compatible with Apple Airplay. They also have an app on the Roku now.

Good morning!
Dh overslept by a little bit so I did yoga alone. Today is my first day back to work (education) and will be in virtual meetings from 815 to 230 with a ten min break. Killl me now lol. My two ten year olds are going to have to fend for themselves after having me totally available all day everyday since spring.

I got up early and surprisingly it wasn’t too much of a feat. I’m doing a 30 minute Cody groove ride, and will finish with a 15 minute ride of some sort. I’m kind of half assing it. Food should be good today.
B- Jimmy Dean delight breakfast sandwich, cold brew with milk and some pumpkin spice syrup 🎃
S- string cheese
L- TJ’s 3 ingredient lentil salad with added tuna
D- air fried salmon, cheese and potato peirogis, air fried broccoli
I added wine to my macros but unsure if I want it tonight, we will see. If not, I will have more room for a treat!

I’m late August Blooms but I just wanted to say I’m sorry and offer some support. I agree with everyone else - it’s really not ok and you absolutely deserve to have time to take care of yourself without feeling bad about it. Congrats oceanblue, that’s amazing progress!

I didn’t check in yesterday since it was a rest day but I did 10 minutes of yoga flow. Today I did a 30 minute boot camp with Chase and then a short run to hit 3 miles.
My goals for September are to focus more on strength so I want to do boot camp 3x a week. I’m also going to try to do a 30 day peloton streak of at least a 10 minute program each day.

I just got off of the bike after doing a 30min pop ride with Cody (the VMA one, which was fun), 15min groove ride, and 5min cool down. I love groove rides so much, I wish there were more of them.
I need to use a lot of produce today before it goes bad, so during breaks from work I'll be cleaning and roasting a ton of green beans and making something using two big eggplants.
