I am hoping for this. I guess my number one worry is playing it safe. We really need a VP pick that brings in voters we don't already have. It's an impressive field either way and he will have my support either way. I kind of feel like there isn't anything the Dem party can do to bring in voters we don't already have (that 53% of white women). I'm not sure that's the group we should be catering to. I feel white women are going to show out for Trump again. Sad reality.

Yup. My worry is more geared towards progressive voters. I don't want them to stay home because they feel Biden is too moderate?

I love Stacey Abrams but I don't personally feel she has enough experience Georgia needs her. I would love to see her knock out Loeffler or Perdue for a senate seat.

Real talk though, I am friends with a Libertarian on FB and he and all his Libertarian friends are all in for Biden.
I want to study them? But, basically they feel they need to vote for him to get back to some form of normalcy. I was just, very surprised.

I haven't a clue who he'll pick. I think a Black woman would be the best choice politically.

My husband is also FB friends with a libertarian but I think he’s just pretending to be one and is a MAGA incel. He’s an asshole.

I don't want them to stay home because they feel Biden is too moderate? Ranting, but I have no patience for progressives who won't vote for Biden. Is he the best? No. But literally everything they care about as voters will suffer immeasurably and/or die under 4 more years of 45. I don't see how anyone who says they care about the environment (strictly as an example) can sit this out because the alternative is SO FUCKING BAD.

And all the ways Biden is just as bad as Trump. So. This is a very valid concern and is happening.

Seeing how Trump handled covid pushed him over the edge as he put it. Maybe there is hope? Lol.

I really want it to be Kamala Harris or Tammy Duckworth. I think Biden’s pick will be really telling about who he’s listening to. If he makes the choice on his own I think it’s Susan Rice because relationships are so important to him and he knows her well. If he’s listening to party leadership I think it will be Karen Bass. All 4 of these are amazingly well qualified women and I would be thrilled with any of them. I just think that Kamala Harris and Tammy Duckworth are most ready to be president if necessary. I will likely be found screaming into the void if he picks Warren or Whitmer.

My dad voted for T but is voting for Biden this time, regardless of VP pick. So, that's one vote! (Though he called him the 'lesser of two evils, which, no)

I worry about all the red in IL outside of Chicago making her seat not secure.

First (and likely only) time he will vote Dem in his life, but he understands it's necessary.

Related to the no longer voting for T convo, I spent a good 20 minutes this weekend on this Twitter account that is retweeting people who regret voting for 45. It brought a modicum of light to my day. twitter.com/Trump_Regrets

The bros digging in their heels and not voting will probably piss me off most of all.

I think it will be Rice or Harris. I'm very much cheering for Harris, but will vote for Biden regardless.
My HOA "doesn't allow" political signs until 30 days before an election and bans all other forms of political advertising. Yet- my neighbors and some houses a few blocks away are proudly flying Trump flags. I will at minimum be getting a yard sign and might go full-blown obnoxious with decorating if it's Harris or Abrams.

TX state law says you can 90 days before election, and it supersedes HOA rules. It’s why I have my Wendy Davis for Congress sign out already. 👿 See section 259.002 statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/EL/htm/EL.259.htm

The only thing that works for me is mentioning Supreme Court appointments. That's the only thing I've found effective, because there really isn't a response. You're letting either DT or JB replace RBG. (Even though there are 5848484 other reasons).

Hi everyone. I am going to ask a question and please don't find this as trying to be offensive but I came to a realization this morning. I have been scrolling through my Facebook feed and seeing the ongoing push for justice for a ongoing list of celebrities and politicians accused of pedophilia. The weird part is most of them are hardcore or more right leaning. It seems like they are using this as a distraction from the Black Lives Matter movement. It seems to me that for them the BLM argument is racist and they are using #savethechildren as a way to play the victim using children and therefore trying to distract from the BLM issue and doubling down by using a 2013 TED talk that has since been discredited from some crazy science trying to argue that pedophilia is a sexual orientation. I have no been following this "child sex ring" news but based on some postings they and bringing up charges from people 20 years ago till now. And if course it is nowhere in the MSM. I feel out of the loop. Anyone have traction on this?

JukEboX, the pedophilia rings are a Q-Anon thing. It's absolutely a distraction IMO. (That's not to say it never occurs. It does and is disgusting.)
