Age- 6 weeks tomorrow
The Good - we are slowly starting to get somewhat of a schedule. V has the best smile. The weather here is cooler this week, which is a nice reprieve and we can actually spend time outside without sweating to death because of humidity. V is awake for longer stretches now so hopefully she will extend her naps/overnight sleep.
The Bad - I still haven’t started exercising, but I paid for momma strong and I’m going to start today.
Milestones/Appointments - next one is in 2 weeks
To Do List - exercise. Continue decluttering and cleaning up my house.

Age- 14 weeks, 3 months
The Good - T is a happy baby and just cries when he needs to (hungry, wet/dirty, tired, lonely). Sleep is acceptable but he still wakes up 2x a night. And he hasn’t figured out long day naps in the crib. Schools here have been announced for full time in person with precautions. I am happy with this plan. So now I’m just counting down til sept 8th for the big kids to get out of the house and to be able to relax with T!
The Bad - he had some scrotal swelling a week ago and do we had to go to ER. They found an infection in his epididymis and a UTI. It cleared up with antibiotics but he needs to have a urologist follow up to figure out why he’s had two infections so far. I’ve just avoided google until I get an actual diagnosis.
Milestones/Appointments - 4 month appointment in a couple weeks with those immunizations. Awaiting an ultrasound and appt at the urology clinic. He has started to roll from back to belly more regularly. Not all the time, and it still surprises him, but he’s doing it most times I leave him doing floor time. He has done belly to back a couple times. I also just pulled out the Bumbo for its short lived use.
To Do List - just await the next appointments and get big kids ready for school.

V slept almost 6 hours in a row last night! Which means that I slept like 5 hours in a row! When I woke up after that stretch I was so full of energy that I couldn’t fall back to sleep. I guess that’s what happens when you have only been getting 2-3 hour stretches.

trtlcrzy I have that problem too. Baby slept 7 hours straight last night but I only slept 6 and that’s not enough for me.

Age- 16 weeks
The Good - They are still sleeping through the night. H is super close to rolling belly to back when doing tummy time. I went back to work this week which is weird since I’m Wfh so I can hear them when they get chatty or fussy upstairs.
The Bad - I’m happy to be back at work but I also hate that I’m missing out on time with them. Such a mindfuck.
Milestones/Appointments - 4 month appt on the 17th and follow up helmet appt for H on the 24th.
To Do List - nothing really. Just enjoy time with them after work!
Pic - I still can’t manage to post pics here lol.

Age- 10 weeks 2 days The Good - night sleep is still going well. He sleeps from about 8:30 til 4:30-6am and then usually goes back down for another couple hours. His morning naps are great, but the afternoon ones are crap lol. He’s becoming a much happier baby. Still has his fussy moments and doesn’t much like to be put down, the best he does is on our bed, not the swing or bouncy chair or anything we’ve spent money on. The Bad - still having trouble with getting him to nap not on myself. Which is most certainly my fault because I rarely try to fix the problem. Sometimes I’ve gotten 30 mins or so in his bassinet but it’s rare. I need to figure it out though because so many times he’s napping on me I’m just thinking of the hundred things I need to do, lol. I know I’m not the only one with this problem though. Milestones/Appointments - 2 month appt was today. He got his shots so 🤞 the rest of the day goes ok To Do List - I think I’m gonna see if I can get him in the crib soon (it’s also in our room), since he’s not waking much at night, it’d be nice to get rid of the bassinet and have a little more space. And not like the crib is much farther away. Pic - Trying out the bibs to combat drool

Age- 5 weeks, will be 6 on Friday! The Good - I finally found a daycare for DS1!! I'm so excited, I'm going to take him there a few days next week so he can get used to it before I drop him there all day everyday when I go back to work on the 17th. I'm going to finish binging Schitts Creek and pack as much as I can while he's gone too. The Bad - I go back to work on the 17th! 😭 I'm not ready to leave DS2 yet. But at the same time, I am ready to get back to work and into a routine. It'll feel like one less cloud hanging over my head. (I'm so overwhelmed right now... I'm trying to sell our house, find a rental, find childcare, pack the house and take care of 2 kids while I do it all. I tip my hat to those of you with more than 2 kids!) Milestones/Appointments - I still need to call to make B's 8 week appt. To Do List - I basically listed it above, lol. Pic - pushing himself up!

twopeas I love schitt’s! Your list sounds very overwhelming. I hope it all works out without too much drama.

I will never lose this weight if I don’t stop eating a million Oreos every night.

I will never lose this weight if I don’t stop eating a million Oreos every night. I also eat too many Oreos at night after the kids are in bed! I like to put my milk in the freezer so it's just a little slushy to dunk my cookies in, then it's the perfect temp to drink after!

I have been preferring to dip in coffee but sometimes I do milk.

Age - 9 weeks The Good - He's doing pretty good sleeping at night and has started finally being ok with playing on his mat or in the swing by himself while he's awake during the day for short stretches. The Bad - Daytime sleep is crap. I'm not sure if it's just him or all the noise my family makes. He now has a fancy sound machine in his room that I think has helped a little. Milestones/Appointments - His 2 month appointment is tomorrow morning. I'm really interested to see how much he's grown. He seems gigantic to me. To Do List - Stop trying to plan what's going to happen in the next few weeks because I know nothing. The older two start school on the 13th and we have almost no information. I go back to work on the 19th and apparently don't have a computer right now. The planner in me is freaking out.

lol so true! I remember being so cautious about where I nursed at first and making sure I was as covered as possible (in the beginning anyway). By DS2 I could wipe DS1's butt without even unlatching DS2. The other day I was feeding DS3 and the older boys were hungry so I got up and made lunch at the same time.

Keep in mind I'm solo 6+ months of the year. I've gotten that good out of necessity lol
