I taught DS how to clean the tubs and shower and it was the best. We've been non stop here all day. I can't believe the time I thought it was later. Are you free of the death tub now? ...death tub? 😳

If my memory is correct, McBenny has an exceptionally deep tub that is bananas to scrub. Ohh, gotcha.

H made such a delicious dinner! DS had fun with his friends. But, he's one of 3 neighbor boys and the other two live just a little closer together and have parents who don't quite keep the same structure we do. The other two play with each other a lot more than DS. I don't want him to feel left out but I'm also not leaving him at someone's house for 8 hours a time so.....

I have a bunch of clothes in my cart from ThredUp. I’m super excited to have clothes that fit better without spending $$.

I swapped out all the wooden IKEA hangers in my closet with velvet ones.
An entirely pointless exercise, and yet I feel so accomplished.

We are home. We still have so much unpacking to do and putting the house back together. My kid has been reacquainting himself with his toys all afternoon which resulted him absolutely trashing his playroom. 😅 We also converted his crib to a toddler bed so we’ll see how that goes. I told him he can get out of bed to grab a book in the morning while he waits for the green light and he was so shocked that I instantly regretted it. 😅

I got sunburnt today, because I’m a dummy who didn’t put on enough sunscreen. Ugghh.

Ugh
TW for overdose
Sometimes I Facebook snoop on families I worked with during my time at DFS as a kind of where are they now, to get a glimpse on how they're doing.
There was one family that worked super hard and was able to reunify and really made same amazing strides and found out the dad must have relapsed because he overdosed and passed away in Jan.
I went to high school with him too and he was my age. I'm so sad now. They were such a strong little family.

I use to be able to hide the good snacks in the back of the top shelf in my pantry because a) my husband never thinks to look there and b) DD wasn't tall enough to see. Well now she's just at the right height that she saw the box of Little Debbie and asked me what it was. I lied and now I have to find a better hiding spot.

Now I’m second guessing purchasing from them. That’s insane it’s been 8 years! Did they lose it? lol I'm being hyperbolic. I sent it in sometime in April or May, and they said it wouldn't be processed till September. I just checked and it's been pushed back to October. Sigh. Normally they process it super quick but Covid obviously is making it take forever. I sent a bag in February and it just got processed in July.

I got a second wind and made dinner. I’m glad I did because of $ and healthier. DS has been super motivated to clean up lately and earn rewards so that’s a nice change of pace. Who knows how long it will last but I’ll take it.

I’ve resorted to hallmark movies. They make me happy.
I just have concerns that they aren’t social distancing. I need to let loose.

I watched Banana Split which was cute, and then today I watched The Layover which I haven’t finished yet but was also cute and light.

I have a question...
So I started feeling a bit of shortness of breath this evening, which I often get with anxiety. But since I got my pulse and oxygen meter I decided to check my stats and now I’m obsessively checking lol. If my oxygen levels are normal (98-100 range), and my resting hpm seems to hover around 59-60 ish, but it’s dipped to 52 (and once to 47 but I think that was just a blip?) is that a cause for concern? I’m trying to stay off google so I don’t work myself into a frenzy.
I used to work out pre shelter in place - like two or three times a week strenuous kick boxing - but nothing for the past few months.
