I’m probably having a baby next month. This somehow seems both too soon and not soon enough. Same. 6 weeks left and I'm still not sure how we are already here.

My csection is one month from tomorrow (9/2, four weeks out on Wednesday) but I've never made it to 39 weeks before, so there's a very real, very high likelihood I'm having a baby this month. I'm so ready.

We got an update with like 57 days until fiscal close at work last week and I was like, yup, not ready.
Paint at new house is done. Just waiting on flooring.
Cleaners coming Thursday 8/6 Carpet cleaners Monday 8/10 Movers coming Tuesday 8/11
I’m pretty sure I’m going to be exhausted before this baby gets here. Luckily I have a ton of vacation to use still.

I still haven't decided yet. We'll see how I feel if it happens.

27 weeks today. Which means there's 10-12 weeks until baby. 12 weeks at most. I feel like it will all go by really really fast once we get to our new house. Packers come tomorrow. We leave Wednesday. And today is the anniversary of the shooting which has me extremely emotional.

I mean, do I even go here anymore? 🤣 I've been reading and checking in but haven't posted in forever.
I'll be 32 week Monday. It seems like I started complained much earlier in this pregnancy than last. H says I started waddling 2 weeks ago 😒
Work has been the most hectic of my career. I'm exhausted and overwhelmed. I'm a solo with no support staff (but 2 amazing partners) so I'm a little worried that I won't get much rest during maternity leave. I've tried not scheduling anything the month of October but there are deadlines and sometimes things just come up.
DS starts kindergarten next week and I'm both very excited but very nervous at the very real possibility of him getting sick and the school shutting down.
We're still #teamgreen and it's driving some family members crazy. Honestly, the constant questions, pestering, and guesses have me more resolved to wait.
Happy weekend!

I’ve hit pregnant + moving level that I can’t hold boxes in front of me any more because of the bump.
So ready to be done.

I keep telling myself the more active I am the easier L&D will be along with post recovery. But at this rate the baby better (in H’s terms) fall out. 😂😂

DH found out he has to drive to Nebraska for an overnight stay Tuesday (he'll be gone Tuesday AM until Wednesday late). I'll be 36+4/5.
Just watch the baby come while he's gone. That would be how 2020 is going so far. 🤷♀️
At least my in-laws are next door, my MIL said she'd go to the hospital with me if I needed her. 🤣 It's one of those I can't decide whether to laugh or cry.

I worked out until the end with both girls and still labored for 34 hours and 28 hours respectively. I did have fairly easy recoveries though despite having two unplanned csections 🤷🏻♀️ I wish this kid would fall out. He still doesn't know where he likes to be yet. Some times he's so high in my ribs I can see his feet right against my ribs and sternum. Other times I swear he's so low that he'll fall out of I move wrong.

I just finished cleaning and reassembling the infant car seat, including putting all the harness straps in their smallest configuration. Somehow with every subsequent kid, I’ve forgotten just how tiny newborns are! We finally cleaned and organized our nursery yesterday. Those newborn diapers are so dang tiny! I always forget as well. So itty bitty, now I'm finally feeling anxiously excited for this little squish to get here.

I'm 28 weeks now I've been denied from one practice One isn't taking late transfers And the other wants to see my records before accepting me as a patient. I legit have no idea what I'm going to do if none of them will take me.

I legit have no idea what I'm going to do if none of them will take me. It seems like that shouldn't be allowed. How are they just allowed to deny you?? ETA: If the next one denied you maybe fine a PCP and get a referral through them?

I legit have no idea what I'm going to do if none of them will take me. That's insane! I can't imagine you would just be denied 12 weeks of prenatal care because every practice apparently has a stick up their ass. Someone has to take you. I would also suggest maybe calling around to PCPs, though depending on the wait to get in it might be difficult to go that route too. That just blows me mind that no one will just take you.

I just had my 36 week appointment. Got my GBS swab and a cervical check. Soft but "not really open". Not that any of it means anything. With both girls my water broke within 48 hours of being told I was closed, hard, and posterior.
I just need to be done. I've never been so uncomfortable and exhausted at the end as I am now. My water broke with DD1 at 36+3 so in my brain any day is now acceptable. I'm desperately clinging to every BH and contraction and hoping my freaking water gives out. Ughhhh, so done.

Plus I get random strings of real ones for like an hour or two then they fizzle out and just leave my back sore. I'm so over it!

Last night I had some serious contractions that were pretty close together. When I finally decided to call L&D they stopped thankfully lol. 34 weeks tomorrow. 4 more weeks 🙌🏽

I feel stupid asking that with this being my second child, but with my first I was induced and my contractions never bothered me/noticed them much until my OB broke my water and then they were rough 😳

I feel stupid asking that with this being my second child, but with my first I was induced and my contractions never bothered me/noticed them much until my OB broke my water and then they were rough 😳 BH for me just feel like my belly getting tight and hard. They don't have any pain or anything. My real contractions tend to start low like a period cramp and work their way up and around my stomach and lower back, and they tend to come with some level of discomfort or pain, where my BH don't. Honestly though, sometimes I question myself. I had weekly NST with DD1 for my third trimester and the nurses would be like "oh look at all the regular contractions you're having!" And I'd be like, "well, only a couple felt legit, soooo🤷🏻♀️" So that's mostly what I feel like is happening. Its all moot anyway because none of it seems to make my cervix change so it doesn't even matter. Its all uncomfortable for nothing, which has been my normal third trimester three times now. It's exhausting, whatever is happening.

We are “moved in” and I scheduled to be induced on 10/1.
I’m still exhausted from moving day and my feet are super swollen. My doctor got after me for doing too much. My boss is making me take tomorrow off to recover. My goal is to get on the treadmill soon but real shoes sounds awful.

I spent about an hour and half timing irregular but painful contractions last night. My belly is sore today now. No dice on going into labor though, whompwhomp.
I'm 36+3 today, the exact same weeks and days pregnant as when my water broke with DD1. History is totally free to repeat itself if it wants (pleaseeeeee)

Got out and went through all my pumping stuff. Bottles and reusable parts are in the dishwasher on sanitize setting. New replacement parts are ordered. I didn't plan to get another pump since I have two, but my PISA apparently is dead, so it looks like I'll have to call up one of the suppliers on the list my insurance sent me and go get a new one after all. Look at all this crap. It's insane how much I've amassed over two babies.

cnf I had just gotten rid of my Medela from my first (6.5 years old) right before I got pregnant. When I had my second my school district in Iowa was grandfathered in or something and their insurance didn't have to follow the law to allow pumps. It was time for that one to go! I got a new Spectrum through insurance this time. Here's my 3 year old washing the parts for me. (She's a freak of nature and loves cleaning and organizing. She mops our floors and organizes drawers for fun.)

cnf My boxes of pumping paraphernalia have at least that much in them, if not more. 🙈 Sorting through all of it is next up on my nesting list.... I took that picture after throwing a whole bag of stuff out already, lol
