Hey y’all! I’m jumping in here. I got my BFP a couple days ago so I’m only at 5 weeks. Due date calculator says April 21! This will be our second baby (fingers crossed!). Our DD is 2.5 and happens to have Down syndrome. We’re hoping this pregnancy is a lot more boring than our last!

For anyone following along on GD - I go here now!!! Squee!!!
I think my due date will end up being beginning of May, but I am going to hang here for now.
I was seeing a fertility doc and got my Beta draw today. My HcG was 19 and progesterone is 7.1. I go back on Wednesday and then Monday for additional draws (I am going out of town, so I can't do a draw on Friday like he wanted).
I am so excited! This is pregnancy #2 for me. DD is 5. My wife & I have been ttc for around 3 years or so. MW tried to get pregnant herself for a while, then she decided she wanted to move on to me. I had 3 clomid cycles that we did not conceive, and this was my 2nd injectable (Gonal F) cycle that I conceived.

Okay so shit is getting real. Had my first OB appointment. Currently doing the 1hr glucose test 🤢. Good thing lady asked me if I wanted a cold drink instead of a room temperature. So much better. But still 🤮 And a whole ass bloodwork panel.
I got a referral to see the ob specialist.
So babies are good. Heartbeats are 147 and 157. Both measuring how they are suppose to be. I’m still anxious because my Re gave me her twin speech and I’ve been freaked out ever since. But after speaking with my OB she said I’m doing well and di-di twins tend to be less risky. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dont know But anxiety is fun.
I’m so emotional this week. Everything is making me so weepy. #wordvomit

Also my due date is up in the air. Technically it’s April 7 but because of the twins I’m “March-ish” according to my OB.

I remember with C I did the glucose around 11weeks. Passed it. Not sure about today thought because I ate pancakes yesterday and haven’t been exercising in the last week because I’m just in bed sleeping. Can’t function. I thought I was having a reprieve of the nausea and last night it came back. I was two seconds away from horking but started sucking on a lemon and that helped.

Hiii. 🙋🏻♀️
My betas were good so I’m here to play now. EDD is April 29. First appointment is September 21, which feels like FOR EV ER away.

I waited five weeks for my first appointment and it was AWFUL waiting. Took forever and ever! I felt marginally "better" by how terrible I felt as some reassurance that everything was going okay!

Hi everyone! I guess I go here now. I got a BFP on Saturday and have no idea when my EDD is. Some backstory: I got my IUD out in early July. We NTNP for a short time before MH got cold feet about covid and just life in general so I went on the pill. And then when I didn't bleed, I knew something was up so I tested. I go to the doc tomorrow for the pointless pee test to "confirm". Then I'll schedule my first US. I'm hoping they get me in soon since we leave for vaca just before Labor day and I'd like to know my EDD and make sure there's only one in there (I have 4 yo twins)!

Oh man I forgot I will have to do the one hour soon too. I had GD with my first two. I can usually make it through the one hour but get really sick when I have to do the three hour. It is so awkward to get sick at the lab.

I was thinking of doing that- popping out of our social distancing bubble with a baby, lol. But maybe announcing to family closer to 20 weeks (thanksgiving-ish). I wanna make sure everything’s okay in there first!

I announced with C around 13 weeks but I was pretty private about that too. Hardly any pics. When she was born I waited until she was at home and said “by the way, this happened last week!” I’m so extra and vain, I didn’t want hospital pictures of myself.

This time around I need to be sure of several things. It’s more complicated with twins. I’d like to be sure everything is fine before I announce anything. So many things can happen. I hate that I’m defaulting to negativity. I’m working on being more positive and letting myself be happy. I mean come on! I’m almost 9 weeks. Get your shit together mia!

We'll probably announce at some point. Probably not right at 12 weeks. I think I announced the twins at 14 last time. Mostly doing it so I can buy them big brother and big sister shirts

So far I've told 2 close friends and my mom and dad. Basically anyone I would need and feel comfortable getting support from if something goes wrong. I'll probably tell my brother and his gf this weekend because we will be seeing them and my belly is hard to hide even though I'm only ten weeks! We'll tell the rest of our families around 13 weeks when we get the genetic testing results back. Doubt I'll announce anything on Facebook until halfway if at all until the baby is here! We saw a healthy baby and strong heartbeat at 8 and a half weeks and I'm 10 & 2 now...next appointment is September 11th. I remember with my DS freaking out waiting to hear the heartbeat the first time, feeling reassured, and then freaking out again worried something happened between my confirmation and my next appointment. Trying to be cool.

We've just been telling people as we see them. I am nervous but I am a pretty open person and if something were to go wrong I would be okay with sharing with the people I've shared with so far. I hate hiding things and I am always the first one down for a drink!
Cravings - ALL sour things. Apples, fruit.
