Tonight I've had heartburn that is making me very nauseous, a dull backache and a few real feeling contractions. I'm sure it's just uncomfortable end of pregnancy stuff, but I felt like a total newbie when I caught myself googling 'signs labor will start soon."๐ One of my podcasts had a "signs of labor" episode yesterday that I definitely listened to. I also had heartburn that was making me nauseous all evening and night, headaches, and some legit contractions. I'm also starting to panic keeping an eye on my underwear. I've had an uptick in discharge lately, but given with both girls my water broke first, it's on my mind. With my first I had a slow leak from when I woke up until my water broke later the same evening, so I'm getting twitchy seeing any extra discharge or whatever since it reminds me of seeing a big wet spot every time I peed. And niave FTM me last time was so confused. But both girls came quite early, so yeah. I need this baby to stay put, as over being pregnant as I feel. The timing if he comes early just is going to be really rough on us with H's work and C's medical issues. We moved last summer and now instead of being right across the street from my parents and ten minutes from my ILs we're two hours away and it's also giving me a lot of anxiety since we have no help.

cnf, I feel like you have legit concerns for early labor, with going early and having more discharge lately. I think I was a little in my own head last night just not feeling well. My first two were born at 41 wks and 40+2, so my body doesn't tend to go early. I am sorry you are stressed about it and far away from family. We are the opposite this time, my last two we were 6 hours away from family, now my in-laws are next door. What is your plan for your kiddos during labor? Is family coming from 2 hours away? That stressed me out big time with my last one, but luckily my Mom came to stay a few days before I went into labor. I am so, so thankful knowing we can call my in-laws at any time of day and they're right there, especially with this pandemic where dropping them at a friend's house isn't as easy as normal.

Yeah, my MIL is coming. She's retired and will come right out of things happen earlier. DD1 was born at 36+6 and DD2 at 38+3, so we'll see. The stress of dealing with DD2's medical issues, being far away, H going back to work and being super busy, bracing to have a newborn, medically needy 3 yo and my K kid who will need homeschooling three out of the five days a week by myself is just a lot. I'm feeling really overwhelmed.

We officially leave in 6 days.
My last growth scan, her head was still measuring extremely small for the rest of her body, so they want me to get in with a MFM as soon as I get to the new place. I'm really hoping everything is okay but I just have this feeling it's not...

beenthere sorry about the worry, I hope it ends up being nothing. My 3 year old woke up with a fever and diarrhea. We have an appointment at 4 to get a strep test and possibly a Covid test. DH got home from flying 8 days ago, but the rest of us are fine. I'm really hoping it's strep because medicine can fix that.

She has strep. Don't know how she got it since we go almost nowhere, but yay antibiotics!
