Welcome July!
What else could this year unfurl on us?!
Should we do some sort of roster or something? Does everyone know what they're having or do we still have some team greens?

We are green! H says boy, my mom says girl. This pregnancy has been completely different.
H has to start going back into the office Monday. I don’t know if I’m sad that he goes back or happy that I will have time to myself finally. He will be the only person on his side of the building so it’s lower risk.

My csection is also officially scheduled for 9/2 which will make me 39+1. I've never been that pregnant before in my life and this is my fourth pregnancy. Bets on if I make it? Lol.

Team Pink (for the third time).
Which is hilarious because going into to having kids I really wanted boys. I was a tomboy and athlete and didn't think I'd know how to handle girls. Now I wouldn't change them for anything.
And we still have no strong contenders for a name. Naming a third girl is hard.

I told her 1)I think even my own babies look like aliens at first and not like any specific name and 2) that is too stressful for my anxious self, I NEED a name picked out beforehand so it's one less thing to worry about.

Since we aren’t finding out we like to at least have names. We still have our girl name from last time and the mn will be Douglas if this one is a boy. But H’s family all uses Br boy names and we’re down to the bottom of the barrel so not much to choose from. I told H I love DS’s name, but what we have for #2 would probably be my second choice. DS is Brendan David. It totally fits him.

We already have a name and many many personalized items for DD. I'm in love with it. All of them end in N. The boys all have 2 syllable names but DD is 3. All but DS1 have 7 letters

H has been stuck on the name Troy David since before we were together. So that's this kid's name. I was pretty shruggy about the whole thing. Not my first choice but I'm fine with it and in no mood to steal his thunder after two decades of wanting to use that name.

rooskie that's some pretty strict criteria! But at least it would help me narrow it down. beenthere jealous you have a name you love! I want to get there. I swear every name we come up with there's some reason it doesn't go with our other two, Caroline and Ophelia. Or I love it and DH doesn't (I'm in love with Hattie but he and the girls don't like it).

That feeling when you psych yourself up for your glucose test, go without eating breakfast, and drive all the way across town to the lab... only to find out it’s closed. 😒 Ohh no, I'm sorry! It's funny how different doctors recommend different things. My doctors in Iowa had me fast, here she said to have protein for breakfast and just don't go crazy on sugar.

Fasting wasn’t a requirement, but thinking about eating just eggs or some other protein for breakfast made me feel sicker than eating nothing would. 🤷♀️ I’m more frustrated with the waste of everyone’s time. Sounds like a good excuse to satisfy a craving while you're out.

shesellscshells, sorry you couldn't do your GTT today. That's a bummer. I am really starting to worry that baby will have a cleft lip. I don't know why. But we haven't gotten a clear picture of her lips yet and that really makes me worry. I'm hoping all is well and this worry is for nothing!

In random news, in all of B's monthly pictures, he is next to his Tigger stuffed animal. I need to decide which Disney character to get for #2.

How is it July already?!
Team boy here 💙 and we have his name picked out. DS #1 and #2 will have the same initials CLC, that was DH's request. We have the crib up and the glider moved to the nursery, but that's it for getting the nursery ready. Had my glucose test 2 weeks ago and passed! 🙌🏽 We have another measurement of LO this week at the MFM's, hopefully he's grown some more! That's about it for updates on me. I'm really hoping my OB will get my CS scheduled soon. I'd love to have a date set for this little guy's arrival.

She's fine! Lips look good. She's 43rd percentile which is so tiny compared to all of my boys who were 99th(X2) and 77th, and my 77th percentile boy was in preemie for almost a month. Her head was measuring smaller than the rest of her body but they said that wasn't concerning, it could just be because of how her head is shaped. She looks like DS2 already. Lol

My weight is fluctuating like crazy. Like a good ~10 lbs fluctuating. I don't like it and I d know what to think. I guess it could be the scale? But I don't know.
I'm so tired. I'm really hoping that baby girl is growing normally because she was small, and with a history of high BP/ pre-e I'm nervous about placental issues.

And working at the kitchen table is rough. And I’m for sure not drinking enough water.

shesellscshells, it is soooo hot. I only lasted about 10 minutes with my kids outside, in the shade, sitting down. I hope the MFM takes you seriously and gets a good plan together. I am getting nervous for our move but also feel a weird peace about it. I think I decided what practice I want to use for delivery sooo I guess just getting that set up is in order.

It's been ridiculously hot here. Mid to high 90's and I'm a seriously hard pass on it. I hate the heat and humidity normally but being this pregnant makes it so much worse. I was second trimester during the summer with both girls so it was a bit more tolerable. This feels hellish.
I'm still having lots of contractions that do nothing. And my boobs are back to being super sore too. I couldn't get my bra off fast enough tonight.
I've never counted down to my due date more closely than I am with this one. I'm just done.

My best guess is that I’ve got 70-ish days left until delivery. I’m 26+5 today and my other babies were born at 36+6, 36+5, and 36+3. 10 weeks left sounds so close, but also so far! Those all sound scary close to me, I'm 32+1. I ordered car seats today and washed all the newborn and 3 month clothes. Since this pregnancy wasn't really planned I don't think I've fully wrapped my head around it. Like I'm still in a bit of denial about what's about to happen.

My first was 36+6 and my second was 38+3. I remember I got all upset at 38 weeks with my second because I was still pregnant and was so over it. I'd really like for this one to make their entrance before my scheduled section date. DNW to see 39 weeks. I'm 31+5 today and I'm so uncomfortable it's unreal. The idea of another seven weeks and three days sounds terrible.

We will see how things go though. I'm asking for steroids at my 32 week appointment just because I'm sure things will go downhill from there 😅 I have always developed high blood pressure around that point and having steroids on board will make me feel better with the inevitable "if your BP is too high or you develop pre-e we're delivering today" month ish that I have at the end.
