I'm on day 4 of the TWW. I'm going out of my mind. I'm trying to focus on clean eating now. I started paleo 2 weeks ago (I've done the whole30 a dozen times) and my H is doing a keto-type diet. I was eating keto last time when I got KU, so I have hopes. I'm going to be so disappointed if this month doesn't pan out. I keep having recurring nightmares that it's going to take another year + like it did for my son, and the constant heartbreak. The quarantine baby posts on my FB are OOC, too.

Also, what’s everyone doing for supplements?
I’m currently shoving down 400mg of CoQ10, a conception pill from Amazon, a prenatal, a horse pill of fish oil, and Berberine. Anything else working for y’all?

Anything else working for y’all? i’ll be taking prenatals, folic acid, iron (liquid form- i’m anemic af), and progesterone suppositories after O. yay for finally getting that prescription! mh is taking a good multivitamin, gaia libido (like that man needs any more of a sex drive but RE said it would help with sperm health) and he’s also taking a natural alternative for claritin for his allergies.

Gaia libido sounds interesting. My H has like, non-existent morph but our RE wasn't super concerned when we were having issues before - he was way more focused on my short luteal phase. He's taking a men's one a day, coq10 and a fish oil, currently.

I just had my follow up appointment. They’re trying to get my D&C scheduled for Friday but it depends on when the hospital can do my Covid test.
She said 2-3 weeks after D&C she wants me to do a huge work up. Testing for “everything that can cause miscarriages”. She doesn’t think the MTHFR is causing my problems since I have the single mutation.
She also said she wants me & MH to start a pretty long lists of supplements in 4 weeks and try to get pregnant right after.
Anyone else’s doctor suggest getting pregnant ASAP after a D&C? She said she’s had several patients who had problems like me then they had a D&C and their next pregnancy was full term and healthy.

robotsvswrestlers sorry your body is not cooperating this month, I hope it is super obvious for the next cycle lemondrop I'm doing prenatal, coq10, and a m one I can't remember that is from Amazon for women's reproductive health. I have progesterone prescription from my last miscarriage but I have no idea when to use that. onyx It sounds like your doctor is advocating well for you. I hope you get more answers. We were told to have 3 normal cycles after our loss. So we are going to hold off on fully trying until the end of August.

I hope it happens this week for you I've been told that some REs try for pregnancy right after a D&C or an HSG due to uterine/fallopian tube conditions.

m one I can't remember that is from Amazon for women's reproductive health myo-inositol? My conception pill has inositol, which I guess is similar. I should probably look into the myo-version.

*peeks back in here*
My surgery was successful in May and my RE corrected my polyps and retested me for endometritis. All negative and we were given the clear to TTC. We also did the Myriad tests for our genetic stuff and all of that lined up as well.
We "tried" in June but coming off heavy BC for three months no break (always had to keep my period at bay for when they brought back surgeries)plus just an few weeks out from the polypectomy, I was not hopeful and I was right, so we are on cycle two now.
If H and I can conceive this time, it will be our 4th pregnancy but we have no living children together. It's been years in the making to get to this point, so....here we fucking go. Again.
Month/Cycle: 2
Timing: Should be absolutely fantastic. We have nothing on our agenda this weekend but to bone for 3 days (the three days leading up to O!)
CD/DPO: CD7 curretnly. Just started testing for O this morning.
Symptoms: I did get a positive O test last month and I could feel the tell tale signs of ovulation returning so I am hoping to see that again this month!
RRCS: I have to take progesterone vaginally 3 days after confirmed O from now on.
GTKY: I love coke zero!

But I have heard doctors who do say this.

Lurker as well (thinking of TTC actually) but I’ve been told this as well. Walked with my cousin though a M/C last fall and she’s expecting to deliver her son next month. I think it’s the belief you are most fertile after being pregnant. In her case it took 5 years to get pregnant twice (1 healthy 1 not) and her doctor was very clear she needed to try right away for her best shot and it worked.

Thanks everyone! I’m glad to hear that it’s not uncommon. My last doctor suggested waiting post loss and almost everyone of the women IRL I’ve spoke to said it sounded weird.

Add me to the lurker bench. The only time I was told to wait was post-ectopic.

Yeah, there is a school of thought that you're most fertile immediately following a MC/D&C. I believe it since I wound up conceiving our twins the cycle immediately after my MC.

Everyone who was like “you should wait” hasn’t been baby making in a loooong time. But still, your doctor never ceases to amaze me. But like for your husbands comment.

I swear my body is crazy. CD 24 over here. Counted myself out this weekend since I hadn’t ovulated yet and had H pick up my progesterone yesterday to start my period later this week. Wake up and my body feels ready to O. Here is my OPK, which I think is almost positive. I’ll test again later today to confirm.

onyx My rainbow baby was conceived my first cycle trying after my 2nd D&C. Had a D&C in September 2017 due to severe hemorrhaging after a 14 week loss. Got pregnant again in May of 2018 (I almost bled out with my first loss so my iron and hemoglobin were super low which is why I think it took so long), also ended in MMC. Had my second D&C the end of July 2018. Took August off and waited for one full cycle. Got pregnant in September 2018. First cycle back trying (it was my second cycle post D&C). My rainbow girl was born June 2019:)

Cd 2 here, but I got an appointment at the fertility clinic in about a month! The doctors didn't have any availability until late September, so it will be with a fellow or a PA, but i don't really care right now.
