let’s make some (sticky) babies!
This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

CD/DPO: no fuckin idea! Symptoms: i’m finally feeling good. HCG draw tomorrow. my last one was 49 so i’m hoping for 0!!! Month/Cycle: 13
Timing: EOD
CD/DPO: 27/10
Symptoms: not much. Bfn this morning.
RRCS: I have an appt with my obgyn tomorrow and I'm nervous about it. I don't know if she is going to do any tests or refer me to an RE. But since I have an HMO plan, I guess my PCP would have to make the referral. I'm out of school till mid August and now is the perfect time to go do all the tests, so if I do have to go to an RE, I hope I can get in soon.
GTKY: what’s your all time favorite thing to drink? (alcoholic or non alcoholic or both) hmm good question. I don't drink alcohol/coffee/tea so I'm going to go with a milk shake. I had one for the first time in a long time and it was so good.

Hello.
CD: 6 WTO
I don’t know if we’re trying this month. If I wait til August the timing would be much better for us, since I have a huge project wrapping up next May. Also not sure if I’m ready to try yet. I’ve only had sex twice since our mc.
Mint juleps are my jammm.

Month/Cycle: 1/2
Timing: Hoping to start tomorrow...
CD/DPO: 12/--
Symptoms: I'll be doing ALL the symptom spotting in about a week...
RRCS: Not yet.
GTKY: what’s your all time favorite thing to drink? (alcoholic or non alcoholic or both) I haven't had alcohol since I started TTC for the first time in 2013...but I used to love a good mudslide!

Month/Cycle: 0, I have my annual pap next week and will be asking to have my IUD removed. Not sure if they'll do it that day or have me come back.
Timing: NA
CD/DPO: 2(ish) Spotting following a week of horrible breakouts so I guess I'm on my IUD "period"
Symptoms: NA
RRCS: My husband does NOT want to go back to the baby stage. Our twins just turned 4 and he is all about the freedom we have. He knows how badly I want another baby and agreed awhile back to trying for #3 but he also admits that he wants to be selfish and be done. It's so hard not being 100% on the same page. I think having 2 babies at once jaded him.
GTKY: what’s your all time favorite thing to drink? (alcoholic or non alcoholic or both) Right now, I'll admit it, I am all about the Naturdays. I know, Natty light is disgusting. But damnit try a Naturday. It is the perfect light, fruity, CHEAP summer beer and I am Here. For. It.

Month/Cycle: Cycle 8
Timing: It would be amazing if I would ovulate. We've been doing about every other day for a week.
CD/DPO: CD18
Symptoms: I am frustrated. This cycle was put on hold because of my 5 cm cyst from last month. I have ovulated on my own the past few times we didn't do medicated cycles, but of course this one appears to be a bust. Fuck PCOS. I have had all the fertile signs, but nothing. No positive OPK and my cervix is still super open. I bet my ovaries are full of half developed follicles. If nothing happens in a week or so, I'll take meds to start my period, then go back to my RE.
GTKY: I generally drink water. Canned Pepsi is my go to for a carbonated beverage. My favorite alcoholic drink is probably a Manhattan when H and I have nights out at a fancy restaurant. It makes me feel super sophisticated.

I’m fairly certain I’m back here.
I had my follow up US today and unlike my last two they wouldn’t let me see anything and wouldn’t tell us a heart rate. The tech said “I’m not allowed to tell you”. My doctors office is on vacation until Monday. So I’m just sitting here spinning on what to do. I spoke to my doctor yesterday and she said she’d be looking for the results today but it’s after 5:30 now and I’ve heard nothing.
Part of me wants to go to the ER just to get a definitive answer. Part of me says I should just wait. Idk. Regardless, I’m pretty sure I know all my answers. I just want to actually hear it at this point and not be in limbo.

onyx I'm so sorry. With our first loss I was at the US alone. The tech wouldn't tell me anything either but I badgered her until she gave me her opinion. Then I cried and she yelled at me for crying:/ I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. Thinking of you. ETA just saw the update. I'm so so sorry.

onyx I'm so sorry. Can you call your doctor and leave a message? When I went through this I just kept calling until someone called me back. The limbo is the worst:( With our first loss I was at the US alone. The tech wouldn't tell me anything either but I badgered her until she gave me her opinion. Then I cried and she yelled at me for crying:/ I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. Thinking of you. I’m going to try tomorrow morning. I have an appointment on Monday at 10:30. So at least there is that.

Anyone feel like weighing in on timing advice? SO is not living with us due to COVID and him still being at work, so we need to try to hit some good days with him actually being in the same house as me as little as possible.
We have almost always done SMEP but I'm thinking about waiting until I get a high reading on my monitor to start this cycle (I temp and use a fertility monitor). Or do we err on the side of caution and start now? I've never started BDing this late in a cycle and it's stressing me out.
I mean it took a total of 18 cycles and 2 MMCs to get our rainbow so the chances of us getting lucky this quickly is pretty slim but I'm choosing to be optimistic anyways.
Opinions welcome!

The RE I saw before I got pregnant with my son back in 2018 said every day while ovulating is fine, but not more than once a day. I use OPKs, and I generally O on day 17 or 18, so we plan to BD days 15-17 at least. I probably would have also BD on day 14 this month but we’re both sick with some nasty head cold. My RE didn’t see a point for us to start at day 8 as with SMEP because I ovulate later than day 14. In your case, I’d probably just do when you’re ovulating out of a health concern stand point, but I’m super extra when it comes to Covid (I work in clinical trials).

Thanks lemondrop ! I'm pretty extra about covid too...we haven't been farther than our own backyard since mid March and NO ONE has been in the house but us. I'm still not thrilled about SO having to come in but I'm going to contain him to one room that the girls don't use, open all the windows, and make him wear a mask. I'm already laughing at how this is going to go!

My doctor just called me and they can’t even schedule my D&C until I complete a Covid test. The doctor is going to call the hospital and try to get an exception. But until then I’m just waiting.
ETA: fuck Covid.

onyx I'm so so sorry, there are no words to help. Hugs! pbandj714 I'm in the same boat. DH really hates the baby stage and is good with just staying at 2, but I've always wanted 3.

My stupid fertility monitor almost always misses my surges. It said low again this morning but I felt it was wrong so tested with a digital opk a few hours later and it was high. I always have to retest with OPKs to catch the start of my surge as well as my peak:/ I don't know why the monitor won't let you test more than once a day. You'd think they would welcome the cash from people like me who like to pee on many many sticks. Anywho, CD 14 and we're finally getting this show on the road! I'm hoping O is soon. I had a temp drop this morning which I always get right before O, so I'll test again tonight to check for my peak.
Yep. I use this board as my daily rant/vent/diary;)

CD21 and no sign of ovulation. CM is decreasing and cervix is closing, so I think my ovaries just froze PCOS style. I ordered those Proov home progesterone tests and hope they come in a few days. I’ll probably test then take the meds to start my period later this week.
I keep telling myself I didn’t really want a March baby anyway, but I’m bummed this month was a total bust.
