I’m in the early 2ww. Technically 3dpiui. Trying not to go crazy with the waiting. Had my IUI on Wednesday. Triggered Monday night. Hopefully it all yields results. My husbands SA was great too. It’s just it’s been close to 3 years and I have such a hard time believing this can happen for me. I’m in a very pessimistic place to be honest. But my RE felt like my response was great and she emailed me today saying she very optimistic about me. It’s just a weird place to be because you want to have hope but you can’t really see it. So that’s where I am.

I know it can be difficult to be optimistic, but think of it this way- it was a controlled cycle, you know when you ovulated, you know the timing was good, and you know the swimmers got where they needed to be. At least that guesswork was taken it of it, and that’s one of the more difficult thing about trying on your own. (Maybe not all that reassuring, but it’s something, and IUIs work all the time- why not for you?) Waiting is awful, I know. Hopefully you have things to keep your mind off of it, or at least somewhat distracted. When is your beta?

My RE was so excited for my cycle. She kept saying I was textbook perfect and has high hopes for me. But I’m like Debbie downer all the time with this stuff. I’ve been lost on tiktok so that’s been helpful to keep my mind out of negativity.

Okay, so I feel a bit better with today's beta (13dp5dt/4w4d). 641! 26.8hr doubling time; I'll take it!
No more beta draws, and we scheduled the first ultrasound for 7 weeks on 8/7. Thanks for rooting me on!

sally, you're a beacon of light, you know that?? <3 That’s so sweet! I have no problems being calm, rational, and logical when it’s not me. I won’t blow glitter up your ass, but there’s a lot of positive things that people forget when they’re in the middle of this that is hard to remember. I may need to be talked down at some point in the next few months myself though 😜

Hi all. Hope it is okay I join in here. I was here a few years ago for TTC my DD. It took 4 fresh IVF cycles with a couple failed FETs in between before we finally got pregnant. I had one embryo left from the cycle I got PG with her that we kept on ice and transferred on 7/18. So no far from ♪♫choppinbroccoli♫♪ and skidevil87 - so happy for you guys that things are looking good!! I had my first beta on Tuesday 7/28 and it came back at 68. It was 10dp5dt. My clinic is a little concerned with how low it is and now I am spiraling. With my M/C my first beta came at 62 so it seems too similar. The cycle with my DD was 116. Went for bloodwork today and waiting on results from that...

Jense927 I remember you too! I hope your numbers do a nice thing for you. Our clinic is fine with numbers over 50 for 10dpt.
As for me... doc scanned me on Wednesday because I was too nervous to wait until today. I would have rather not seen a heartbeat and know the pregnancy was in the uterus than see a heartbeat and the baby not be in the right spot knowing what I would now have to do.
So good news! The little booger is in the uterus measuring right on track! I had a yolk sac and fetal pole- doc couldn’t say specifically if there was a heartbeat- as I was shaking like a leaf and my own heart rate must have been in the 120s, but he didn’t totally rule it out as a possibility. I go back on the 11th where I will be 7 3/7.
It dawned on me this morning... after 6 years.. starting on the bump, meeting a few of you, going to TCF and now here... do I actually get to move on? Do I actually get to do this part?
The few of us left on this page- I have seen our names for a long time on all 3 websites- you are the only people that truly get it. I’m so so very grateful to you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m still waiting to hear from the lab to start the thaw, and trying to not eat my feelings while I wait. We’re first in line, but apparently they need a day when there aren’t any retrievals so an embryologist is available to do the thaw and fertilization. Waiting is hard(I know I should be good at it by now, but not so much). They said it should be this week coming up or two weeks from now, but we’ll see.

Can I go here?
A small intro - we did round 2 of IVF at the end of November last year. (Round 1 was successful and I have a 14 month old). That ended in a D&C at the end of January, and then I got pregnant without intervention in June, which ended with a miscarriage early July. So, we have finally schedule our FET (originally scheduled for May but was pushed because of Covid) for Sept 18, but we do our treatments in the Caribbean, so this will include a whole lot of quarantining and nerves. We only have 2 embryos waiting and at this point I just want to go and get them and come back home. Anyway, I am excited to have this done and hopefully have success and hopefully can see others do the same!
