I’m back down to prepregnancy weight, but don’t be jealous cause I only gained 14lbs and my baby was 8. I still need to lose another 30+lbs to get to a healthy weight but I’m not in any rush. Also, the hakaa is the world’s best invention. Today is V’s due date, so glad I got a bonus 5 days with her 🥰 I haven't lost a pound in 5 weeks (aside from the initial 15 at his birth). I need to get on that...

I have physio booked for after my 6 week checkup so hopefully it’s something fixable 🤞

trtlcrzy isn’t it the best!!! I haven’t even had to use my real pump yet and have a pretty good stash and I’m still getting at least 3 oz at each feed (when I use it).

I’m liking for solidarity danib. I’m exercising everyday and eating no dairy or wheat. Yet still the scale isn’t budging much lately.

I know my ab muscles are still very separated, so I'm going to need to do some work to try to correct it. I bought a workout program after DS1 was born that was pretty effective, as long as I actually do it consistently (Mutu system, if anyone has heard of it).

What position are you guys nursing in to be able to use the Hakaa? I like the cross cradle, but that doesn't leave much room for anything on the other side the way I'm sitting.

So his body is mostly along my side (propped on my nursing pillow), and the other breast is completely free.

I guess I need to get on board with other positions if I want to use mine...

Apparently different positions drain different ducts better, so you're less likely to get clogged ducts if you switch positions. I don't know if this is 100% factual, but they do say to point baby's nose in the direction of a clog if you have one to drain it better so it makes sense.

V is still pretty scrunched up so her feet don’t really get in the way. I also position the boppy so that it is lower on that side.

A friend of mine who had diastasis highly recommends the mama strong program. Apparently it’s really effective and fast for bringing the abs back together. I haven’t had an issue with DR in the past so I’ll have to wait and see what the sitch is in a few weeks.

I do the cradle hold too but have had a few times where E has kicked out and broke the suction and it almost fell on the floor. Knock on wood I haven’t dropped it yet! I don’t know how it doesn’t get in the way but I also don’t use a boppy just a pillow under my outside arm.

I also didn’t wear a belly binder but it might be too late for that now at 5 weeks pp.
