Sorry danib! What time do your babies first go to sleep for the night? So far if I put Ben down before 10 pm he wakes up super fast. Any later and I get a longer stretch. I’d love to move it earlier...

I’d love to move it earlier... For us, G still sleeps most of the time anyway. Usually has 1 or 2 real wakeful periods and the rest of the time it's sleep-wake-diaper-nurse-sleep. We all go to bed around 8ish and he wakes roughly every 3 hours on average.

Not going to lie, that was one of my biggest motivations for getting the IUD instead of doing a tubal. I would sign up for no periods every day of my life. H can get the vasectomy and I’ll take out the IUD eventually since my sex drive is definitely better without it in. I did the tubal partially for birth control but also for the drastic reduction in risk for cancer. I have had 2 IUDs and neither time did they eliminate my periods. In fact they made them longer and heavier. BC pills were the only thing that made them predictable and easy. so weird, for me it’s the opposite! BCP make me crazy and bleed more even than i would without it, even though It was regular.

Since my experience, I have heard from many women that similarly hated their IUDs so I know I’m not alone. But of course there are many that also never get a period and love it. I was hoping to be one of those! Lol. My first PP period just ended and it wasn’t terrible. The first two days were super heavy, but I also have to remember they were my first periods not on any birth control for a while so they really are just normal periods. I can live with that. I’d love the lighter periods I get on the pill but it seems silly to use the pill when I am sterilized, haha. I may still ask H to get a vasectomy eventually, just to be extra safe. The twins scared me with what my eggs can do lol.

I got to sleep in this morning for probably the last time for the next 2 years. I think I’m going to take a nap today, even. I spent my morning hanging out with the girls outside, watching them play. DH took them to mini golf with his dad after lunch and I’ve spent the afternoon tidying up and putting away some laundry. I want to have no chores to come home to after baby is born. I texted my coworker and it sounds like there aren’t many people on the board for induction/csections tomorrow so hopefully they call me to go in right away in the morning.

I’m 100% going back on after nursing to help with acne and my mood.
