Z is suddenly very....2 years old. Into everything, generally being naughty, throwing tantrums. I'm hearing a lot of "No!" and "Mine!" these days. Stella has separation anxiety that we didn't know about when we adopted her so that's stressing me out a bit. I haven't had dogs since I was a teenager and none have had this problem so it's a bit out of my league. She's pretty much attached to me all the time. She cries, barks, tries escape, poops/pees in the house when I leave her. The most I have left her is an hour and it did not go well. I do have to go into the office once a week for a couple of hours now. I guess I will be discretely bringing her with me as we work through this.

PennyCandy, We are starting to get the tantrums here too. Especially if things don't go her way/ she doesn't get her way. She falls to the floor, facedown with her butt up in the air. Luckily it ends pretty quickly so far. There are also "tantrums" from big sister because little sister is bugging her.

This is our last week of distance learning and I am over it already. I went to school yesterday and we packed up the classroom. I go back again next Tuesday. We are having the parents come and pick up the children's belongings. So we are going to be outside with signs, noisemakers, etc as a way to celebrate the kids.

We've had more tantrums here too. L was pretty easy to distract/redirect until now. I know some of it is due to the transition back to daycare, but I think some of it is also just the age he's at. Luckily, he has been great at daycare so far. His teachers said he is one of the most pleasant kids in his class. I know some of it must also be that he gets tired keeping it together all day and knows he can fall apart at home. Definitely makes for some loud and frustrating evenings though!

We are also very much into “mine” and loud screeching when she doesn’t get her way. Fortunately, she stops pretty quickly when you ignore it but man, is she loud. They also only have about 10% of their toys out right now because our house is on the market so she might be feeling extra territorial right now.
