We're all over halfway through! How are you feeling?
How many weeks is everyone now? I'm 18 this week.

24 weeks today! How am I less than a month from 3rd trimester already? 😬 I started my twice a week appointments this week. Thankfully my boss is being very accommodating and understanding.

22w+3 days. I’m exhausted. Everyone tells me I look exhausted. I don’t even know how much caffeine I’m drinking.
We sent B back to daycare this week so they are wearing him out which helps.
But then we bought a new house so we have been chasing our mortgage all week. Closing on 7/10. The new house needs some work but I told H we are moving in at the beginning of August so I can spend September sitting.
This year is crazy.

I'm 27 weeks tomorrow. 😬
I feel both 'how did that happen so fast' and 'how the hell do I have 3 months left.' I'm already uncomfortable in bed, sitting on the couch, and in the car and my back constantly hurts. Bending over and getting up from sitting are way harder than they should be at this point.

I'm 26+3 today. I am pregnant AF. Like, how am I not in my third yet? My belly button is out, my stomach visibly rolls when this kids moves, and I walk around holding my achy lower back all day long. I'm perpetually exhausted too, but I can no longer sleep without 2-3 MOTN pee breaks and waking to switch positions, so I'm sure that's a huge contributor. I'm a mess.
I'm really glad I've been working remotely too and it's been easy for me to get to Dr appointments. They're coming fast now that I'm going every couple weeks to my OB and every few weeks to my MFM, on off weeks from each other. I'd be out of PTO for leave by now otherwise. It sounds like H will be going back into work sometime in July, so I'll spend my biggest, most uncomfortable months in the dead summer heat with two tiny heathens and no help. I forsee having my mom out, or driving the two hours to her a lot.

It's 95 here today, and I'm nauseous and crampy in my back (where I get period cramps) when I move around. I'm trying to take it easy. This does not bode well for being pregnant the rest of summer.

I'm definitely physically struggling today. I'm hoping it's short lived buuutt also not hopeful because my pregnancies have just been hard historically.

I hit third trimester yesterday and feel it so much. I'm crampy, contractions that left my back sore, exhausted. My belly had another big pop too and I'm huge. And this kid is kicking me so hard that a few times its caused me to double over. Woof, c'mon September.

I bit the bullet and booked a maternity and newborn photographer. I was holding off, because pandemic, but I felt bad for third baby

I bit the bullet and booked a maternity and newborn photographer. I was holding off, because pandemic, but I felt bad for third baby So my last two babies a photographer came around the day after they were born and took just their pictures and we just bought those for $150. But now I'm in a new state and guessing that isn't going to fly right now anyway, so I should look into this too.

Our hospital offered that too, but we didn't take advantage since I've always done a maternity and newborn package with an outside photographer. I didn't think about the fact that that kind of service might be by the wayside in all of this.

Our hospital does this too but it’s super expensive so our family photographer will come to our house. Right now we are booked 10/11.

I'm really wanting a birth photographer for this birth, since it's my last and I haven't been able to have one but I've always wanted one. They run like $900 in the area I'm moving.to which seems ridiculously expensive, considering I could have booked our fresh 48 photog for $200 for the birth and I couldn't justify it in case the anesthesiologist said no the day of... But this time I'm asking to speak to the anesthesiologist beforehand because I also have concerns about them putting enough in my spinal as it had started to wear off during my c section last time. Thankfully no pain until after I was closed but with a 4th c section it's going to take longer and I don't want that to happen again.

You might not be able to have a birth photographer depending on where you are and what the covid restrictions on your hospital are. That was something I was thinking about but it definitely won't be allowed here.

My best friend does photography for friends and family so she'll be doing ours. I didn't get any of our first born and I still hate that.

I'd love one, but my guess is my hospital won't allow it. We're still in a pretty strict "one person only, who needs a covid test and also can't leave until discharged" situation. I really want one though.

They are starting to open up our hospital and state in general. My doctors office still not allowing support people unless there is a big reason. Good news is H gets to go to anatomy scan part 2 Monday.
I’ve only seen my doctor once this pregnancy so hopefully I’ll see her Monday and can see how they are handling L&D. If we are only allowed one guest we might try to spring our early.

My freaking back and pelvic joints, holy geezus. I'm going to ask my OB if she can just schedule me a csection for 37 weeks at this rate. I'm already feeling quite over all of this.

One of my questions planned at my next appointment is "if I'm measuring 2-3 weeks ahead does that mean there's a higher chance she'll come 2-3 early?" I feel the same, but I did just survive a 7 day trip to our family's cottage in Wisconsin (5 hour drive). I consider that a win!

We went to the park on Tuesday for the first time since like... February... And got to catch up with shesellscshells which was awesome, and then yesterday I did pretty much nothing but slowly work on cleaning my downstairs floor which was hard because bending sucks right now.

My current OB was like "you might make it to 39 weeks this time!" And I'm just like, I don't think so if I develop high blood pressure like I ALWAYS DO. I will be mad if the doctor I transfer to doesn't follow the recommendation to deliver at 37 for gestational hypertension.

Having a new OB after this so many kids sucks. My new one had a hard time believing me when I told her the non stop contractions I get my entire third trimester are bullshit prodromal. She made me have a cervical check and a fibronectin test. Closed, high, hard, and negative. Exactly what I told her would happen. My csection is tentatively scheduled for 9/2 which would make me 39+1 and I've never been that pregnant before after four pregnancies. But ok.

I was seen at the military hospital for my last two, never saw the same provider, had a bad experience there both times so this is also a new doctor this pregnancy. And then I'll have another new one when we move.

I hope things turn around for you and you end up having a good experience this time. My last practice was rotating OBs so you met everyone then just got who you got when you showed up in labor. We moved this past summer and now I have a single OB I see every time which is nice. My previous two births were very traumatic and I'm unhappy with the birth experiences I had, but it has nothing to do with providers and everything to do with just how the situations evolved. I'm hoping to wrap up having kids with a birth experience I'm happy with is all at this point.

More concerning to me is that two days before the ultrasound put him at 8lbs 3oz. Doesn't give me much peace of mind with the weight monitoring I have coming up.

Doesn't give me much peace of mind with the weight monitoring I have coming up. Ultrasound that late in pregnancy is wildly inaccurate. They say +/-2lbs from what it might read at. I had an ultrasound the day before my water broke with DD1 and they pegged her at 6lbs 11oz. The triage nurse 24 hours later gave my belly a squeeze and jiggle and guessed an even 6lbs. DD1 was 6lbs 3oz. Squeezey belly nurse was closer in accuracy than my ultrasound was.
