mothafuckinteatime hugs. I was definitely emotionally and hormonally unbalanced after my loss. I would expect that it manifests itself in different ways for different people. I just felt....detached and empty for a while. I didn’t feel like myself. After a month or so, I started to feel a little better each day. Give yourself time to grieve and always feel like you can reach out to people in your life, us here, or a professional if you desire. You are allowed to do whatever you need to get through this.

I don’t know where to ask this question, so here goes. Did anyone struggle with sex after a loss? It’s been so hard, I’ve just not been interested. I tried last night and definitely didn’t feel like I used to during sex, and cried after. I don’t know why I cried, I wasn’t upset for any identifiable reason. H has been wonderful through everything and has in no way been pushing for anything. I’m just fucked up. yes. 100%. It took me a month to even remotely want sex again. My husband, like yours was very understanding. I cried several times after sex even once I wanted it.

He was leaving the next morning for a month too which is why I made the effort. It did pay off because that one sex made DS2.

Negative today at 11dpo. This is my third day of cramping/low back soreness and I am getting my hopes up, which makes me nervous. I really really want this to be it. My SIL gives birth next week and she got pregnant right after my loss. It’s one of those milestones that I had hoped to be pregnant by.

So I had to go to the hospital because I had a seizure and they did an ultrasound and there is no heart beat. They called my OB on call and basically it’s “indeterminate” right now and I have to repeat the ultrasound in a few days.
My measurements are placing me at 5 weeks 6 days. LMP has me at 6 weeks 2 days.
Only good news is my HCG is at 37,000.
Fuck guys.

onyx omg, I'm sorry you are going through all that. Those are good numbers though, any chance it could just be later ovulation?

onyx wow that’s really scary about the seizure. I hope you are ok. 6 weeks is right around when the heartbeat becomes detectable. I had an ultrasound right around then with my first and couldn’t see one. Then one week later was fine. Praying for you. Is sounds like the ultrasound was mostly normal except the HB? That’s a good sign. I wouldn’t worry about the measurement yet either. It’s so early.

I have a seizure disorder so it always happens in early pregnancy because increasing blood volume messes up my medications. Everything else is normal. They said they saw a fetal pole, but couldn’t detect a heart beat. The paperwork says I have to confirm in 7-10 days “non viability”. Idk I just really want to actually talk to my OB. The general practitioner told me they can’t give me any answers but the paperwork says to confirm nonviability.

This sounds like someone who doesn’t know OB trying to write their notes. Not blaming, it just isn’t their area of knowledge. My RE tries to schedule a first ultrasound late in the 6th week or 7th week. And if it’s in the 6 week range, they say it might be too early to see a heart beat, so don’t be disappointed. So I would wait for your OB to give an opinion.

Last night “miscarriage” and “non viable” and “indeterminate” were throw around a lot so I basically thought I was coming home to wait until the worst. I did some google searches that told me it could be too early but still nice hearing it from someone else. I was wondering why when they called my OB on call she wasn’t concerned about anything other than my medications.

My OB called first thing this morning. They’re repeating the HCG on Monday and ultrasound on Wednesday so basically just waiting right now. She is concerned why I keep getting infections and then same with seizure control. I had to get IV rocephin last night even though I just finished macrobid. So fingers crossed Monday and Wednesday go well.

onyx I’m so sorry about the seizure. If it helps you at all, my RE wouldn’t schedule my first ultrasound before 6w3d. I went in at 6w5d and saw a baby, a heartbeat and the yolk sac. So I feel like with a good high beta like that, you may just need a few more days to see something. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

2 more negatives on 11dpo.
I ended up going out and buying a FRER because I was worried maybe the easy@home ones were lying to me. Alas..
I’m so bummed. It’s reminding me of how long it took us to conceive our son (over a year), and it’s just soul crushing. So now I guess I just wait for my period. Again.

I want to scream. I got another BFN this morning on 12DPO, and yet, AF is no where in sight (was supposed to show this morning). I'm Jake Perralta "cool cool cool cool"ing all over the place.

My ultrasound this morning, I thought went well. Baby had developed a heart beat of 112BPM. I’m measuring a week behind, but they said that’s within normal range. But then my doctor called and is concerned baby has stopped growing and wants me to repeat HCG on Friday and the ultrasound next Wednesday. 😔 I’m still pregnant. Baby has a heartbeat. Now I need some patience, good vibes, prayers, all of it.
