Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 36w 2d/June 27th
The Good - baby dropped a bit and I can breath better.
The Bad - baby dropped and now my back hurts. I guess everything in pregnancy is a trade off. SPD is kicking my butt today and my morning/evening sickness came back last night and this morning.
Milestones/Appointments - NST and GSB on Tuesday.
To Do List - put stroller and car seat in car, hang up milestone calendar.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 40+/May 30
The Good - I made it to June. For some reason, I really didn't want this kid to have an end of May birthday because it could fall on Memorial Day.
The Bad - I'm getting nervous about giving birth and what everything will be like in the hospital. It's weird that I haven't registered at the hospital yet, but when I called a few weeks ago, they told me that I could just register when I show up to give birth.
Milestones/Appointments - I'm at my (probably last) appointment right now doing an NST. Baby is all over the place, so the heartbeat keeps disappearing from the monitor. Hopefully that's not an issue...
To Do List - Have this baby!

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 1 week old/born May 25
The Good - feeling much better, I had a rough couple first days after the c section. I’m still a little sore but able to move around with less pain. Miles is doing great with nursing and is so far a pretty easy lil newborn.
The Bad - I don’t know how many times I have to get peed on before I’ll learn to cover up his penis when I’m changing him, lol.
Milestones/Appointments - 1 week old today!
To Do List - I need to get him to nap more in his bassinet instead of on me, but I still want to snuggle him all the time, ha. I’m worried I might create a monster like I did with my daughter.

txaggie08, I felt a lot safer in the hospital than I expected to, with everything going on. I hope it’s the same for you! wasabi, I’m big on sleep training my kids when they get a little older - but for the ‘fourth trimester’/maternity leave I basically do all the stuff you’re not supposed to do in terms of cuddling all the time and feeding to sleep and all that. Newborns are just too sweet to put down I figure it’s pretty easy to break later as long as I sleep train by like 6/9 months. Weeks - Ben is 2 weeks and 3 days old Good - he’s the sweetest cuddly guy. Sleeping ok most nights - I haven’t gotten over like 3.5 hours yet but he usually eats and goes back down pretty easily. He’s smiling a lot lately - I know it’s probably still reflex smiles, but I love it. Bad - DH is feeling crappy lately with everything going on in the world and being tired and has been overly snippy with everyone. Two more weeks of distance learning for my older kids - ugh. Our YMCA camps are opening June 22, which is great, but everyone has to re-register because they understandably eliminated a lot of the less safe camp themes and are forming smaller groups, so I’m nervous about getting my older kids spots. They need some interaction with other kids so much. My herniated disc is continuing to improve but I just want it to go away so I can go on walks. Appts - 2 week appt was Friday and Ben was above birth weight and had gained an ounce a day in the prior week, so that’s great. Next appt isn’t till 2 months but I think I’ll try taking him for a weight check at one month just to make sure he’s still gaining well. To do - clean my house more and write more thank you notes.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 36w1d, 6/28
The Good - it’s due date month! I’m ready for this baby to come whenever she’s ready. I started getting things ready for the hospital, but most of the packing will probably happen last minute.
The Bad - lots of pressure and cramping off and on, it’s going to be so hot this week and I am not tolerating it well.
Milestones/Appointments - I had my 36 week check up this morning. I’m still at 1cm and not very effaced. I can’t remember if I told you guys but I had an infected hair follicle right by my lady bits that I had to get lanced last Thursday so I’m still taking antibiotics. We delayed the GBS test until next week’s visit.
To Do List - buy more essentials like breast pads, baby medicine and baby bath stuff. It’s been on my todo list for like a month but I just haven’t gotten to it.

sdlaura Thanks for sharing your hospital experience. I got more information about the hospital where I'm delivering after my appointment today that makes me feel more comfortable. Induction is scheduled for Thursday morning if baby doesn't come before then!

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 36w0d; June 30
The Good - made it to June!
The Bad - everything hurts, I keep having this feeling that they will send me over for delivery after my appointment today, my sciatic nerve hates me, and I have had this headache for like a week. I'm pretty sure it's either an allergy or anemia headache since I have both and I've been monitoring my BP, but it's still frustrating.
Milestones/Appointments - ultrasound/BPP/NST today, then NST Friday and repeat next week unless they send me to deliver after any one of the appointments.
To Do List - still so much because DH keeps procrastinating getting shit done that I physically can't do. I'm getting annoyed now because on top of not finishing stuff, the house is still messy because H has been leaving crap everywhere and I will lose my shit if I come home from a c-section to both an undone house AND a dirty one because H has been lazy these past several weeks despite me warning him it needs to get done. His solution was to send FIL and BIL to do the crap he's been ignoring that isn't even immediately necessary.
I also think about 40% of my massive irritation is just because it's the end of pregnancy and everything is so physically uncomfortable that sleeping sucks, walking sucks, moving sucks, etc. But still.

I was just randomly thinking about this. Those of you who want/need to upgrade vehicles, have the car dealerships near you opened up yet?

One of the places that we contacted back in the beginning of all this just emailed us a few days ago to say they are open for test drives now (a few places opened up a while back for contactless but you couldn't test drive so we weren't comfortable with that). Anyway it wasn't enough notice for us with DH's work, he's not allowed going to public places/stores/etc 2 weeks before going offshore. So we'll be looking/purchasing when he comes back home again in July.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 34w2d / July 12th.
The Good - baby's just growing & growing. I saw hiccups from the outside for the first time yesterday (have been feeling them inside for awhile), so that was cute.
The Bad - NBR... H told me last week that he wants a divorce. He said he feels like we have grown apart, that we are just roommates going thru the motions of life. He feels disconnected from me. But then he flips and says he loves me and wishes there was a way we could work things out. So. I've been crying for so many days, I just don't want this. Anyway, despite coronavirus I am taking DS & I to fly to where my mom & extended family live. We will wear masks in the airport/on the plane & keep my sanitizer at the ready. I just don't wanna be in the house with H right now and I have literally no family in this state besides H's.
Milestones/Appointments - appt yesterday, pretty boring one. Just a check in basically. Baby's heart rate was 151.
To Do List - nothing really, all baby stuff is put together (crib, carseat, etc). So I guess just figure out my next step in life? ::laughsob::

I’m so sorry twopeas. I hate that he is doing this to you right now. Could he be saying this because of the stress of everything going on right now with covid, riots and a new baby coming soon? I think taking a break from each other to reassess is a great idea. We are here for you.

twopeas I’m so sorry. How far away is your family? I would totally do what you’re doing and go to where you have support. But, can you contact a lawyer to get some info on laws in your state and whether you leaving home with DS would have any negative implications should you end up getting divorced? Just want to make sure you’re protecting yourself!

Thanks everyone! trtlcrzy, it's possible he's stressed about the state of the world right now, though he's been working through covid so that hasn't really changed for him. He mentioned he feels like he's entering into a "mid-life crisis". I'm like, bro your only 37 it's a little early for that haha. sdlaura, I am in Arizona and my family is in Alaska. I didn't even think about contacting a lawyer before we leave, my brain hasn't even gotten that far yet. 🤦♀️ Thank you for the suggestion! It was actually his idea for DS & I to go so we both had some time apart to really think things through. It's just like... fuck everything about 2020, lol.

twopeas, I know nothing about divorce law - just want to make sure there’s not some rule that if you voluntarily leave the house he’s more entitled to it - or anything like that!

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - babies are 7 weeks old this week
The Good - I’m getting so much better recovery wise and I am able to exercise again and I feel so much better mentally. I am starting more of an actual nap routine with them and they are sleeping well in the snoo during the day too.
The Bad - Managing two babies at once is hard. I’ll probably say this every week lol. I feel like I can’t give them enough attention individually and I always feel bad when I am giving one attention but not the other at the same time. Mom feelings. Lol.
Milestones/Appointments - G gave me his first social smiles yesterday! It made my heart explode. It’s so gratifying when they finally start responding back. Now just to get H to smile too.
To Do List - n/a

My ac isn’t working 😭 luckily today is only supposed to get to mid 80s, unlike the last 2 days in the high 90s. I hope I can get it fixed ASAP.

Heyyy ttcbabyj, how are you?? I just remembered you were scheduled for a c section (or induction maybe?) a couple days after me so I wanted to check on you! Hey thanks for checking on me! Me and baby (Jeremiah) are doing great. Well he’s doing a lot better than me. My c section was scheduled for last Wednesday. Everything was fine until the day after we were released from the hospital. I developed 5 hematomas around my incision. It was the worst and at times still is the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. It was painful to do anything. Yesterday I went to the ER and I was admitted they drained two of the really big ones and I’m hoping the other ones will resolve soon. They also wanted to keep an eye on me. I guess they think the preeclampsia, although a mild case, could have contributed to the development of the hematomas. I’m hoping to be released from the hospital tomorrow. Just so thankful for DH he’s been a trooper bringing the baby to the hospital so I can nurse. We also live right next door to the hospital.
