Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 35w 1d, 6/28
The Good - not too much BH this week, only 5ish weeks left, enjoying the inside time with baby even though I’m uncomfortable, only 3 more weeks left of work!
The Bad - constipation, pelvic pressure, constant need to pee, reflux, feet/butt up in my ribs not allowing me to sit like a normal human, trying to breathe with a dang mask is a real struggle, oh and I feel like a whale already and don’t know how much bigger this belly can get.
Milestones/Appointments - chiro wed, OB next Monday
To Do List - Think about packing my bag for the hospital. I can’t really pack too much at this point because I have only so many clothes that fit. We are doing family pics next Saturday and I think I finally have our outfits figured out. Now I just have to figure out and purchase nb picture outfits but I will worry about that after these pics are done.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 37 weeks on Wednesday, c-section scheduled for Wednesday due to mild preeclampsia.
The Good - My son will be here this week. My ob emailed my today and said starting tomorrow fathers/support people can be in the OR for c-sections. I’m so relieved!!!
The Bad - Nothing really bad, but when c-section date was pushed up now I have a bunch of things to do before Wednesday. Submit grades, wash, clean, etc.
Milestones/Appointments - Tomorrow is my last ob appointment and stress test and I need to get my Covid test done.
To Do List - Get DD’s bag together for her stay at her uncle’s house.

Sorry about the preeclampsia ttcbabyj. Silver lining of being able to prepare and hold a baby very soon?

Sorry about the preeclampsia ttcbabyj. Silver lining of being able to prepare and hold a baby very soon? You know I don’t have any symptoms. My blood pressure is not even really high. It’s just kind of nerve wracking knowing it could get more serious really fast. Yes, holding baby soon is definitely a silver lining.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - Babies will be 6 weeks on Thursday
The Good - They are still pretty good babies. Sleep is ok for newborns. They only wake for food. And the SNOO makes it so we can already put them down awake and they will fall asleep themselves without a fuss. It’s amazing.
The Bad - There are definite struggles with managing two babies at once. At the times when they both start crying at once in particular. Lol. Especially when I’m on my own. My back and arms are always sore because I am always holding/feeding/cleaning something. So many bottles and so much laundry. Ha.
Milestones/Appointments - G has his hip u/s this Thursday. I have my 6 week PP appt on Thursday and I can’t wait to get the all clear for sex lol.
To Do List - Nothing other than keep loving on the babies and enjoying this time since I won’t have any more babies.

At least then your arms will be free. I can imagine juggling 2 is hard, props to you.

It works great but I think my abs/incision area are still too sensitive for it because the hip brace/buckle hits exactly at my incision.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 35w 2d/June 27th
The Good - nausea is finally all but gone, and heartburn has be become so much more manageable
The Bad - SPD pain is kicking my butt, as is insomnia. Leg cramps aren’t fun either. The doctor has me sitting down if I have more than 5 BH in an hour which means some days I spend most of the day sitting, which is incredibly frustrating.
Milestones/Appointments - NST on Wednesday
To Do List - keep on top of housework. Everything else is done, except last minute things I won’t pack until the day of.

Weeks/due date - baby is 10 days old The good - Ben is a chill baby so far. DH called him the perfect baby (in the context of something like ‘OMG life is insane with four kids, even though we have the perfect baby.’ I’ve been overwhelmed with how many friends have sent meals and gifts - more than my first 3 kids, probably because everyone is stuck at home and has more time. Yesterday was my birthday and it was a great day. My parents put the older kids to bed while we took the baby and had some distanced backyard drinks with friends. Ben is sleeping decently well in the snoo - it’s usually pretty easy to get him back down after he eats every 2 or 3 hours. And DH has been starting work a few hours late everyday so I can sleep in while he’s with the older kids (he normally starts at 6 am). The bad - my herniated disc situation still hurts. I have a referral for physical therapy but I’m going to wait a bit to go. It is improving slightly day to day and I’m down to just Motrin as a pain med. I can walk short distances, like to the elementary school on our street so the kids can ride bikes in the parking lot, but standing up for more than a minute if I’m not moving still really hurts. Appts/milestones - Ben has a 2-week appt on Friday. Last Friday he was circumcised - poor baby. To do - I finally feel a little bit caught up on house stuff now that I can move around a little more. I really need to clean the bathrooms though.

No, swelling, the only thing they are basing the preeclampsia on is the elevated protein (blood test). I think my ob is just being super cautious because of my age as well.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - team green is a boy! Eli David was born at 12:24 am - May 26! 39.3 weeks
The Good - omg it went so fast!!! My water broke at 8pm, contractions started at 9:30, laboured at home until 11:50, got to hospital at 12:05 and he was born at 12:24! No time for anything, which is exactly what I had hoped for!
Also our friend just had twin boys last week and our other friend had a girl on Friday so he’s already got some friends lol
The Bad - ??? I think I stressed out DH cutting it so close, but he was an awesome support for me. I am not tired at all and am having trouble falling asleep. Tomorrow is going to suck.
Milestones/Appointments - birth day!
To Do List - enjoy life with two boys ❤️

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - May 22, 4 days old
The Good - G is such a sweet baby, and his brothers absolutely adore him. With the exception of last night he has been great at sleeping. And he's not bothered at all by the noise of the boys playing. My milk came in right away and he took to latching super quick.
The Bad - Well last night was bad. He just wanted to nurse all night. We got about 2 hours total of sleep up until 5am when he finally had a normal 3 hour stretch of sleep. He also has some jaundice so I have to keep an eye on that, but other than being a bit yellow he's not showing any signs of getting worse so I'm not worried.
Milestones/Appointments - Yesterday we had virtual/phone appointments with family doctor and public health nurse. EKG on Thursday and check up with our family doctor on Saturday. Follow up phone appointment with PHN next week because they aren't doing home visits right now with COVID.
To Do List - switch out some of his pajamas because hes too long for some of the newborn stuff. Switch out some of my maternity clothes for regular and nursing-friendly stuff.

Hi from triage. I have had contractions since around 10 last night. I was able to sleep some last night and I hope this is just a false alarm. I need baby to stay put for 2 more weeks at a minimum.

Weeks/Due Date/birthday - 39 weeks/May 30
The Good - I'm done going into the office until August when I'm done with maternity leave.
The Bad - Everything hurts when I stand up. I've been trying to still go on short walks because I know it's good for everyone all around, but a 20 minute walk takes like an hour to recover from.
Milestones/Appointments - My next appointment is Friday. I'm assuming we'll talk induction dates at this one since my due date is Saturday. I should probably talk to DH about what he prefers to do since he's taking off a week from work after baby is born.
To Do List - Talk about names with DH. We've procrastinated enough.

I guess that was a waste of my time. Baby was good on the monitor and my contractions weren’t concerning. She checked me for a UTI, which was negative and I figured it would be since I have no symptoms of that. She did say I’m now dilated to 1-2cm and soft so I think it changed a little bit.

sdlaura we also had a lot more friends dropping things off or sending us stuff. It was really nice. I know I’ve been able to do more thoughtful things for other people with more time on my hands. danib I’m getting sad about growing out of newborn clothes because this is it for us! CONGRATULATIONS aries and wasabi!

baby is still inside! Blood flow numbers were slightly elevated yesterday so we are on watch the next couple weeks, but RCS is scheduled for 37+6 on June 15 unless he decides he needs to come out earlier, or the NSTs and ultrasounds tell us he needs to come out earlier. I kind of don't think we will get to June 15, but part of me really hopes that we do because it's my brother's birthday and it would be a really cool pattern to keep up - I share a birthday with my uncle and DH shares a birthday with his (late) uncle, so it would be really fun for DS2 to share a birthday with HIS uncle.
We are basically on a week-by-week basis, moving likely next week to a half-week basis to see what needs to happen.
