week/fruit/edd: 10+2, petit four, 11/15
ftm, etc: ttm
appointments: 5/5 for first us and ob...curious to know if anyone else has an alternate/reduced appointment schedule.
team: finding out
milestones:
symptoms: just tired
rants/raves/vents: rant - i need the weather to warm up my kids are so bored and it’s just too chilly to do anything outside for an extended period of time - i’m sure they’d be fine but i’m too big of a weenie. rave: just glad i figured out i should be taking prenatal at night my nausea pretty much completely gone.
gtky: what are you watching/reading right now? favorite movie/show? (whatever you want to share). h and i are watching unorthodox on netflix. as far as reading goes, i finally downloaded the libby app so i can get books from library. i generally prefer hard copy books to ebooks, but it’ll do for now. reading light easy books as an escape right now - currently a elin hilderbrand. kind of a guilty pleasure for me. i’ll read pretty much anything though.

week/fruit/edd: 5/apple seed/ 12-22 but will be induced a week early due to being on blood thinners. ftm, etc: stm - 5.5DD appointments: U/S and OB on 4/29 -- polson, I will only be going into the hospital for U/S and very few actual appointments. All others will be done over telehealth. My MFM's office/the hospital had a huge donation come in for women to be able to borrow a scale, blood pressure reader, and a doppler for the home appointments or we have the option to buy the set for $90. I am hoping to pick these up on the 29th while I am out and about and just not have to worry about needing to go into public again for a while. team: Find out milestones: symptoms: Just dizziness and nausea during the dizzy spells rants/raves/vents: I'd like this dizziness to stop. It makes trying to function with my DD really hard. I'd also love for it to start warming up and staying warm. My DD has ASD and her therapist is still coming to the house 4 days a week and those are my favorite days right now. I don't have to be 100% in charge for a couple of hours. gtky: what are you watching/reading right now? favorite movie/show? (whatever you want to share) I'd love to be able to start reading more, I have a ton of books on my kindle and just haven't been able to read them because I'm going to bed so early.

week/fruit/edd: 8 weeks; Jellybean; EDD moved to 12/1
ftm, etc: Third; I have two girls, ages 3 and 4
appointments: My next appt is 5/11
team: Green!
milestones: 🤷🏻♀️
symptoms: Nauseous AF
rants/raves/vents: I feel nauseous most days and just don’t have the motivation to do anything. I think it would be better if we were back to normal and getting out of the house but who knows.
gtky: what are you watching/reading right now? favorite movie/show? (whatever you want to share) MH and I are watching Revenge right now. I’m surprised I hadn’t watched it sooner because it’s great! We’re only about 5 episodes in.

polson, I asked at my appointment last week about an alternate/reduced in person visit schedule. The NP practically scoffed at ACOG’s recommendation. She said it might be fine for some patients but that the blanket recommendation is not great and providers really need to know who to use it for and who not to. She said a lot of things could get missed or overlooked by doing so few in person visits and that’s a lot of pressure to put on the patient to take over some of their own care. She said for me specifically, given my loss history, that the alternate schedule would not be something she’d recommend and they still want to see me regularly. I’m actually really okay with it because I had major anxiety thinking about only being seen in person a few times in 40+ weeks.

Fearsy those are exactly my fears with the schedule. i’m taking comfort in the fact that my practice is at least doing weekly appointments after 36 weeks since the schedule i saw only had a 39 week appt after 36. as someone who had complications with both pregnancies (near the end for both) it makes me nervous. i’m really hoping things will relax a bit more by end of summer at least. mrspants that’s great they are offering those things for you for home use. i think if places are going to follow a reduced schedule there needs to be at home monitoring available.

week/fruit/edd: 9/olive/11-20
ftm, etc: I have no idea what this stands for lol. I'm awful at these acronyms
appointments: One virtual so far; first in person is in two weeks
team: find out ASAP
milestones: none yet
symptoms: Weird cravings are starting. If we weren't staying in, I would have sent DH out for cream cheese icing last night. I don't even like sweets. Crap now I'm thinking about icing again.
rants/raves/vents: I'm so tired all of the time. I started doing yard work this weekend and got winded a few minutes in.
gtky: what are you watching/reading right now? favorite movie/show? (whatever you want to share): I've been reading a ton and watching a lot of crappy rom coms. I'll probably re-watch Schitt's Creek soon because why not!

polson, I use Overdrive (the precursor to Libby). I prefer hard copies of books, too, but the convenience of ebooks is perfect right now. It's so easy to knock out books with it!

week/fruit/edd: 11+3 today/“large strawberry”/11/8
ftm, etc: STM but this is my 5th pregnancy
appointments: I had an appt last week at 10+3. Kiddo looked great! Now I don’t go back until 5/15 when I’m 14+5
team: finding out sometime this week- I did the NIPT a week ago today, so I’m hopeful I get the call today!
milestones: I mean, I’m just glad to make it this far!
symptoms: I’m still sickly. I’m trying skipping my zofran dose this morning because I feel okay, but it may backfire. The evenings have been the hardest for me in terms of the nausea. Also my sciatica is starting up already!
rants/raves/vents: i miss coffee and am going to try a tiny cup today. I haven’t been able to stomach it.
gtky: what are you watching/reading right now? favorite movie/show? (whatever you want to share) I’ve been reading a ton lately actually. A friend sent me “the awkward path to getting lucky” by summer heacock and it’s a fun read- the kind of stuff id normally take to the beach.
