Hows everyone doing? Anybody's 1 year olds starting the toddlerhood meltdowns? Zoom virtual Birthday parties? I realize the month is half over but dates dont really matter anymore. Come update!

So far we are healthy! We actually had dd’s first birthday party the weekend before everything got shut down. She is for sure into throwing tantrums now. Since she’s the third I laugh it off and keep going.
I have a first grader and a pre-k that I have to do distance learning with. I’m so drained by the end of the day between that, arguing about doing the school work, and then keeping dd entertained.
I hope everyone else is doing ok too!

jewelsofthenile all the tantrums over here!
M turned one on 3/14, we canceled his party of course but he had fun with his cake still. He still has no teeth, starting to lose hope on them lol and just started walking two weeks ago!
MH and I were both furloughed last week so we’re just trying to get by over here.
Hope everyone is staying safe!

it's been a week over her my son fell backward in a barstool and hit the wall corner and cut the back of his head so he has 3 staples in his head while it heals. Then the next day N had a fever and a large red spot on her leg. So she had cellulitis and is on antibotics now. Other than that we are good.
Trying to work full time and home school and be childcare provider everyday. is exhausting and I think I am doing all those things badly.
We had a zoom party for N. She turned 1 on the 3rd of April. It was ok but not as fun as an actual party. She mas way more timid with her cake than my older two. They demolished their cakes on their first birthday.

We’re healthy and surviving here. We had N’s 1st birthday on Easter. I made cupcakes and sang happy birthday with family all on zoom. Big sis had a great time “planning” her party and opening her presents.
As exhausting as this whole thing is, I love watching them love each other (most of the time).
I’m working full time from home and H has been furloughed and is in charge of the kids. It’s been a rough adjustment as I usually take the primary parent role and he’s a great dad but doesn’t do well with multitasking or the planning part that you have to do to keep everyone happy, fed, organized, etc. Unfortunately I think he’ll have to go back to work next week and we have no childcare plan.
As for N, she’s happy, feisty, and definitely gets mad if she doesn’t get what she wants. She’s cruising along and practically runs all over with anything she can push but hasn’t taken any steps solo yet. I love getting to smother her with kisses several times a day.
