We are obviously having Easter just the 3 of us but I'm tryinf to make it nice. Will have an egg hunt for J. Making strip steak roast, potatoes, a veggie, and homemade rolls
Im exhausted by 3 everyday now that I work from home. 8 to 12 i answer emails and get on google clasaroom and have planning. I do this while chasing J around. 1 to 3 u do live video sessions with kids which is exhausting. I hide in the basement 1 to 3 so J cant hear me.
I feel like J is having a good time but feels our stress atnight. He hatea sleeping in our bed but Tuesday he climbed in, pulled up the covers, and yelled for us to come in. We snuggled for 15 minutes then put him to bed. Last night he bawled ar bedtime and just wanted to be held.
He sleeps great at night but is only napping about twice a week.
I wish yoy all a happy holiday and miss you guys!

Iβm trying my best to make this a fun, happy Easter for the kids. But I am an exhausted & anxious person these days. Iβm having trouble with insomnia and L has been having night terrors. This is all just a lot for everyone. π

Hi friends! I know @dolly, it seems like we should have more time for chatting but it feels more intense being with the kids every.waking.moment. Iβm so worn out.
We had a decent Easter, cooked a nice meal and did baskets and an egg hunt for the kids.
WFH is going ok but I have two standing zoom meetings a day which is annoying but all and all I feel very lucky to be employed.
M just exhausts me to no end. She is such a handful and is in my bed every GD night so I feel like I donβt even get a minute away from her.
But Iβll STFU now and say Iβm just thankful my family so far has remained healthy through this. That really is the most important thing right now.
Miss you guys!

Glad to see a few of you popping in. I need to come here more often as I miss you guys and quarantine is driving me crazy. J hates being home all day and i dont blame him. We drove to the further chick fil a yesterday just to go somewhere and do something and he was so freaking happy it made my heart hurt. I mean we drjve 20 minutes there, mobile ordered, one of his favorite employees ran the order to the car then we drove 20 minutes home. That was it but it was a treat for all 3 of us.

Iβm sorry, I hear you. This shit is hard with young kids. We are all going stir crazy here too. We really arenβt doing well. We all want to be out and A really misses hanging out with other kids. Itβs so daunting to think about doing this for weeks to come. We will, obviously. My #1 is to keep us healthy. But itβs really hard to be at the house all day, every day. Yes! Daunting is the perfect word. Itβs going to be really hard trying to acclimate back to regular life, whatever the new norm will be. Itβs hard to believe itβs only been like a month here since stay at home advisory started. We arenβt even technically full SIP but there literally is nothing open so pretty much the same. We arenβt going anywhere except store when necessary.

I canβt even change my clothes without him following me and calling my name. This is my life. I canβt pee without N all up in my space. Forget about night sleeping. Heβs a gd mess. At some point between 10p-1a he winds up in our bed and sleeps on top of me. Iβve nicknamed him my little barnacle π And Iβm so busy at work Bc Iβm training a new hire. She got hired to our PICU unit but they closed that unit to make it a COVID unit so she was displaced to NICU so I get zero free time at work bc sheβs my shadow and Iβm constant teaching and talking and Iβm so tired of being near other people. And our nanny is limiting her hours at our house bc sheβs scared to get CV, of course, so Iβm either at work or with Noah. I was happy to get 45min the other day to shower ALONE and do my hair and have a mini dance party ALONE. I really miss alone time. And Iβve obvs been MIA. N just yells NO PHONE MOMMY!!!! So I canβt type anything substantial when Iβm at home. We also took away his iPad bc he was just too ducking insane about his shows I couldnβt even handle his tantrums. So no screen time is also killing me.

Sorry to be MIA but this is all just too ridiculous. Working from home with toddlers is awful. Plus they all know something is wrong and are on me like velcro. Maybe I get an hour in my office before one is losing their shit on the door.
And Js tonsel/adenoid surgery is canceled indefinitely so I basically sleep in his bed because he and our youngest who is teething are up all night and thank God she wants daddy.

I didnβt know J was having them out. Was it snoring that prompted it or sickness because they are large? Iβm going through this with my older daughter and we were going for a sleep study to check about sleep apnea but in the same boat. Cancelled till who knows when. Her tonsils are huge and she snores so Iβm sure we are headed for surgery someday.

We had a sleep study in Dec and finally got a follow up the week things went to hell here. He has moderate sleep apnea and some swelling, but it is the apnea that is why the Aden one out too.

You must be crazy busy right now between WFH and your DH working too, and juggling watching J.
