God dammit I have another cord issue ๐ซ marginal insertion, reguires a monthly growth scan. Bleh.
My first had SUA so I had a million growth scans, fetal echo cardiogram, weekly NSTs starting at 32 weeks. Another pregnancy of extra appointments.

I'm sorry cnf, just what is not needed right now-one more thing to worry about. I'm glad you'll be closely monitored but sorry that it's needed. My anatomy scan is next Tuesday. I just started worrying this week about everything looking okay.

Iโm really itchy today. Especially my arms, legs, and shoulders. But oddly enough only one of my palms is itchy. ๐ค My OB only wanted to order a baseline CMP, not bile acids, and I still have yet to get that drawn. I may prioritize getting that done this week, just in case my liver is already acting up. I hope you're able to get that done. I'm probably going to ask for an updated draw at my next appointment because my legs and palms especially are really itchy at times ๐

I'm starving today. No amount of food is fixing it.
I'm also having pretty bad resurgences of nausea most days. C'mon now with this crap, body.

I'm still hungry all the time too. I remembered to take my reflux meds this morning (put the bottle in my coffee cup last night), and the biggest side effect is nausea. But food is helping so here I am eating all the things.

Someone want to send me some of their appetite? Lol. I've still got basically none. I ate a regular sized amount last night and then felt nauseous because it was too much ๐ต

I know this isn't really pregnancy related but I needed to share with someone lol. I've had what I'm pretty sure is a clogged duct for what feels like forever. Like, I'm probably lucky that I didn't get mastitis it's been clogged that long. I think I finally got it unclogged tonight. Kind of TMI but I was sitting there kind of rubbing from where the pain was (just beside my nipple) to the nipple itself and I noticed that I had some white stuff come to the surface so I squeezed it like a pimple and some stuff came out and it feels soooo much better except from the squeezing to get it out part ๐

That terrifies me that it could happen before breastfeeding even starts ๐ Glad you got it unclogged though!

ponygirl I'm still nursing DS on and off. He usually goes a day or 2 in between so we're close to weaning but that's only happened in the last month or so with concerted efforts from me lol. Prior to that we were still nursing 2-3 times a day. He's a bit of a boob monster

Prior to that we were still nursing 2-3 times a day. He's a bit of a boob monster Have you ever taken lecithin? It can help prevent clogs. Especially useful during times when your supply is increasing or decreasing suddenly, or breastfeeding/pumping routine is changed. I was actually just thinking of you the other day, since I think weโre the only two on here who are breastfeeding while pregnant. Are you planning on weaning fully before giving birth, or just cutting back to a frequency thatโs less draining? Iโm torn on the idea of weaning DD before this baby is born. I weaned DS2 when I was 28 weeks pregnant with DD, but aside from that 9 week break between then and her birth, Iโve been breastfeeding since my DS1 was born in June 2015. It would be nice to have that break again.... but with all the unknowns of the Covid-19 situation, I kind of feel like I should push through and maybe even tandem feed, just so she can get the antibodies from my milk for a while longer. I have not. This is really the first time that I've had a long term clog. Previously I've been able to get it unstuck with very little issues, although I may have to add it with everything going on hormonally right now. I'm really not sure if I'm going fully wean or not. I had a talk with hubby about it the other day. I had such a hard time getting my milk flowing originally that I'm thinking that if we keep nursing that it might be easier? I was planning originally on fully weaning by 2, which is in 2 months, but lots to think about.

I applaud those of y'all breastfeeding and pregnant, I could not do it.
My second appointment is tomorrow morning and I'm really nervous. At least they're not going to mess around with the Doppler and are going straight for an ultrasound before my appointment, and the last time they showed me baby and heartbeat first thing and then looked at everything else so hoping they do that again. Excited to get a look at this little girl again.

Hoping for some quick reassurance for you tomorrow beenthere. My anatomy scan is first thing Tuesday and I'm getting nervous too. I've been nursing forever it feels like. This is my longest break in 6.5 years. DD1 was born Dec '13, and nursed until 2.5 when I was 5 months pregnant with DD2. DD2 nursed until 3 years 4 months, around 8 weeks pregnant with this one. I NEVER wanted to breastfeed that long but they were both super attached to it. I am not going for 4 years with this one. ๐

shesellscshells Yeah, I kind of figured that was the case. With DS too, he wound up going to the nursery for the first 8 hours. We got to visit when he was about 4 hours old and he latched, but we definitely didn't do it right, so I probably screwed up my early supply establishment there a bit. And I didn't get a visit from the lactation consultant until the next day. I feel like I've got more knowledge on how to do it right, and also just commented to MH that if this baby winds up in the nursery too that I'll probably ask for a pump so I can do some pumping in the meantime. I know it's not quite as good, but at least it would be something.

Kudos to you all who BF for extended time like that! That is hard work!
I could never establish a supply with my first and gave up at 4.5 months. I basically dried up at that point. It was so difficult and frustrating. With my second I had an over supply and BF until 15 months. I cut her off, she would have happily kept going but I was pretty done.
With this kid I'll get to the one year mark and decide then. I will likely keep nursing, even if just once or twice a day, beyond a year just because it'll be cold and flu season at that point and I'd like him to have the antibodies. That's the only reason I went past a year with DD2. I enjoy BF but I am not cut out to do it for years on end.

We have a healthy, beautiful, but stubborn baby! The tech wasn't able to get accurate measurements for length because she was so curled up, but she was able to get the NT measurements and that's perfect. Also had NIPT drawn today and getting those results in 1-2 weeks and I'm super super super duper hoping that sneak peek was accurate for us because I have already spent a stupid amount of money on girly things with a girl name on it.

Yay!! Congratulations! I've heard sneak peak only gives false results for boys since they only look for a Y chromosome. If none is detected it's a girl but if it's detected it could be a boy or it could be cross contamination from another male in your house. It's supposed to be pretty accurate on the girl results since you can't cross contaminate!

Well, if you do it too early sometimes you won't have enough fetal dna but I did it right at 8 weeks and baby was measuring right on track at my ultrasound so fingers crossed!!

Anatomy scan went great! The kidneys were slightly big (can't remember the term) and they're going to recheck them in 2 months but the doctor said she wasn't concerned at all, it almost always corrects itself. Baby is measuring 74th percentile, so they will continue to monitor size to decide on c-section or possibly inducing a little early. (DD2 had shoulder dystocia which only lasted about 15 seconds, but her collarbone broke during delivery). I'm very relieved to hear there are no major issues. And the genetic testing was correct, she's still a girl. Now on to buy things.

Ultrasound looked good from what I can tell. The techs here aren't allowed to tell you what the sex is for legal reasons, buuuuut I didn't see much between the legs, and I for sure saw the 3 lines that usually indicate girl!
