Anyone still out there? It's March, which means we have some more 1st birthdays coming up!! DS has become a totally different baby over the past month - he's crawling, into everything (his favorite things = his dirty laundry basket and his diaper pail, both of which had to be relocated to inside his closet ), he's dominating finger foods, drinking from a straw cup. It's like he's becoming a toddler right before my eyes (sob). How's everyone doing?

Hi! I’m here.
DD will turn 1 this month, and I can’t believe it! I have her birthday outfit, but I haven’t taken her pictures for her invites yet.
She has RSV right now, and I hate seeing her sick. This is her first illness that isn’t just a dry cough and runny nose. Monday she had a fever of 101.3. She is so pitiful, and I wish I could take it from her.
ETA: She is crawling and very curious about everything. She loves savory food, but still isn’t big on fruit or anything cold except ice water. She will drink out of a straw at a restaurant, but I can’t seem to find a good straw cup that doesn’t require super suction to drink out of. A coworker gave me a rec for one, so I’m going to try that. It’s 14oz though, which seems huge to me.
She loves to watch our dogs, and she thinks Daddy is the funniest person ever. She says Dada and Mama. She high 5’s, claps, and waves.

Aww poor baby orangehibiscus! Hope she gets better soon. We’ve been in a revolving cycle of sickness as well, I’m so over it!

orangehibiscus Hope she’s feeling better soon! This week has been heavy mentally and I’m so burnt out. And then my boss says our group doesn’t work long enough hours and for everyone to increase hours. I feel like all I do is work, cook dinner, clean up, make lunches, go to bed, repeat. No down time, barely any time with the kids.

jacks that's how I feel too. but I have been trying to hangout with the kids a bit on weeknight clean house be damned. N. had hand foot mouth about 2.5 weeks ago. she is currently peeling on her hands and feet. I cant wait for a few nails or several nails to fall off in the next few weeks. I had influenza last week even though I got the flu shot. So it's been a sickness struggle around her since valentines day. N is crawling and into everything. She loves climbing the stairs too. She loves finger foods and doesnt love being spoon fed anymore. I have been lazy with cups. I need to have her use them more. she does a great job of chewing the spouts. I dont think she get much liquid

I’m so sorry for all the sick kiddos!
M ended up with the flu again about a month ago which was his second time to get it, been such a rough winter.
I just can’t believe next Saturday he’ll be 1!! He loves walking with his push toy and is definitely into everything. We did a haircut a few weeks ago and he looks so grown up now 😢
He’s doing better with table food, loves chicken black beans and cheese, no teeth yet! Still not a lot of luck with sippy cups so I guess I’ll have to start with milk in a bottle for now, I’ve started mixing some with formula and he doesn’t seem to mind it.

jacks jewelsofthenile +1 to crazy weeknights....it’s chaos trying to get everything done in the evening after work and also maybe hang with my kids for a minute. I have to remind myself to sit down with them. Has anyone introduced whole milk? I don’t think we’re quite ready but I totally forget how we did it with DD. I want to say we just gave it to her straight and didn’t mix it with formula....

@ges072115 We haven’t introduced it yet this time, but last time I just started with replacing one bottle with milk in a straw cup (I think the dinner bottle) and then just worked up to switching over to a normal food schedule.

My boys will be one 1 week from today! Last weekend they got haircuts and now look like little boys instead of baby boys.
J is crawling everywhere and demanding to stand up at all times. Not yet cruising the couch but desperately wants to. Loves all foods, and is starting to self feed with silverware! He's mister independent. Two teeth, working on cutting top teeth I think, based on the drool and sleep wake ups middle of the night.
L is now sitting independently in the past month, and is finally able to sit independently and drink from his bottle. Still not self feeding, though his pincer grasp is on point. PT is supposed to start this Thursday, and DT starting sometime soon. He still absolutely loves to cuddle and be worn in the carrier. He's sleeping all night and I'm so thankful for that.
Seeing their relationships blossom with DD is so amazingly awesome. Even H can't help but grin watching them interact with one another. DD turns 3 on the 23rd, so lots of March birthdays up in our house!

How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is staying healthy!
I still have to go to work because I’m medical, but I’m thankful it’s the weekend.
We’re planning on taking the dogs for a walk in a nearby field this morning. After that, lots of laundry and cleaning.
